I’d love to own a border collie they’re one of my favorite dogs but I don’t think it’s a good idea to have a dog that’s cleverer than me 😅

Thia episode explored children but what about pets? I would love to get a border collie puppy but I have 3 cats and dont want to upset them. How can I introduce the border collie puppy to my 3 cats without causing lifelong distress to any of them? I have seen videos of people introducing their puppies to their cats straight away and I have seen 'experts' talk about the long and slow process of introducing them. For a border collie which way would be the best way and for my 3 cats which would be the less stressful way?

We have a year old mix between border collie and a unknow stray, her name is Caicai. We also have a kid at home, he is very brutal with his way of playing (6 year old) and it usually ends up on the dog bitting him, and he hitting back. What do you suggest we could do for them to play in a healthy way? (the dog also, has one toy, but she doesnt play with it anymore). I try to keep her active too, and walk her twice a day.

Teach your child to respect the dogs, he is absolutely old enough to be held accountable for certain behaviors. If he was a bully to his siblings or classmates would you be making excuses for him???

I do have a question. My previous dog did not wanted to be petted or to be close to me or any one else, if I gave her the space she would just be close but she would never come to touch me or to ask me to pet her, she wanted to be left alone, she also did not even wanted to play with me any other game than chasing. Do border collies acts the same? I am asking because I want a pet that will enjoy to be petted and be close to me and even ask for some attention.
