When my pup was a baby, I had her in a crate (Nicey, nicey approach lol) but borders inherently seem to know so much, she was able to sleep on the floor of our bedroom by 5 months!! Some nights when it's super cold, she is in bed with us ☺💖

I agree but now mine is 4 he sleeps wherever he likes.
Before bed time he’s always on the bed waiting watching what I am doing, he is so nosey 🤣
In summer he will sleep under the bed, rather hilarious watching him get under😂.
But in winter he wants to be close to me, he will curl up on the back of my legs and when he wants to love me he crawls up from near the end of the bed roll on his side and gives me one good lick and goes to sleep, he is such a beautiful soul.
He is my best friend 🇦🇺

My two border collies sleep on the floor of my bedroom. They both slept on our bed as pups. They naturally developed to the stage where they slept on the floor of their own accord, just like several border collies we have owned previously. I have never had to toilet train any border collie I have owned. They seem to be born with the know-how. This may be due to them seeing us go from the bed to the toilet.

Got my border collie 7 1/2 weeks old from working parents. Crate trained , house trained in a week never messed in his crate.
He is 6 1/2 months old & sleeps in his large crate at night & sometimes in the day.
When I’m at home he has the run of the house, downstairs only at the present he has never wanted to get up stairs.
He is very intelligent and learns very quickly.
He is my second border collie , love this breed ❤

That is brilliant that they're crate trained. It makes everything else that bit easier

Rosie is my first border collie ever. We did have trouble toilet training her. I took her out every hour but she never really got the hang of it. I live in the country but when she got spayed she became totally house broken. The cage training was a breeze compared to House breaking
Today she is a lovely 4 year old..We love her very much best breed I have ever owned.

You guys are such lifesavers, thank you so much. But alright I have two border collie puppies and they depend so much on each other. Help me figure it out. Training them separate or not, sleeping separate all not? Etc

Can you guys do a video (either here or the other account) on the perfect diet? I don't wanna do raw meat, but is it okay to mix things with thier dry foods? Like add bone broth as a topper, blue berries or maybe some mashed sweet potatoes and carrots?

Ok, I have the idea. Let me know please, how to manage in the first 3 or 4 months the toilet train during night time... I'll really appreciate your comments.
