    Never Be The Same is loved by everyone, both fans and general public think of it as one of her best songs. What are you talking about? Also most of these albums make no sense to be in this video, just because the lead single was the biggest song on the album it doesn´t mean it carried it, especially when they had more top40 hits. Manic, Camila, Happiness Begins, All I Ever Wanted and even Unbroken don´t belong on this video.

    In the part 1 I comment other cases, but in the Part 2 there are more other cases of albums carried by the lead single:
    Britney Spears - Britney (Lead single "I'm Slave 4 U" peak #27 on the Billboard Hot 100 but was very succesful in the rest of the world - Rest of the singles: Overprotected (#86) - I'm Not A Girl Not Yet A Woman, Boys and I Love Rock N Roll didn't chart on the Hot 100)
    Kesha - Warrior (Lead single "Die Young" peak #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 - Rest of the singles: C'mon (#27) - Crazy Kids (#40))
    Mike Posner - At Night. Alone (Lead single "I Took A Pill In Ibiza" was succesful with the remix created by Seeb, peaking at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100, being the only song from the album to make an impact on the charts)
    Maroon 5 - It Won't Be Soon Before Long (Lead single "Makes Me Wonder" topped the Billboard Hot 100 - Rest of the singles: Wake Up Call (#19) - Won't Go Home Without You (#48) - If I Never See Your Face Again (with Rihanna) (#51))
    OneRepublic - Dreaming Out Loud (Lead single "Apologize" with Timbaland peak #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 - Rest of the singles: Stop and Stare (#12) - Come Home (#80) - Say (All I Need) and Mercy didn't chart on the Billboard Hot 100)
    Sia - 1000 Forms of Fear (Lead single "Chandelier" peak #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 - Rest of the singles: Elastic Heart (#17) - Big Girls Cry and Fire Meet Gasoline didn't chart on the Billboard Hot 100)

    • @natygallardo9106
      @natygallardo9106 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Charli XCX - Sucker (Lead single "Boom Clap" peak #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 - The second single "Break The Rules" peak #91 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the two subsequent singles didn't chart on the Hot 100)
      Kylie Minogue - Fever (Lead single "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" peak #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 - but the other singles "Love at first sight" peak #23 and "Come into my world" peak #91 - "In Your Eyes" was not chart on the Hot 100.
      Charlie Puth - Voicenotes (Lead single "Attention" peak #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 - The second single "How Long" peak #21, the third single "Done For Me" with Kehlani peak #53 and the fifth single "The Way I Am" peak #61)

    From the perspective of the Australian charts.....
    Heaven On Earth by Belinda Carlisle (1987)
    Policy by Martha Davis (1987)
    Under The Pink by Tori Amos (1994)
    Temple Of Low Men by Crowded House (1989)
    Eaten Alive by Diana Ross (1985)
    March by Michael Penn (1989)
    Martika's Kitchen by Martika (1991)
    Off the top of my head, these match the criteria of the music video.

      Sorry but Heaven On Earth's second single Circle on the Sand was also a hit

    I think there’s a difference between an album being carried by the lead single and an album with a megahit on it. For example, All I Ever Wanted did have Already Gone and I Do Not Hook Up which did have some good airplay, same with Love? With I’m Into You and I Luh Ya Papi.
    And mentioning Unbroken is wild haha: She was with Hollywood records so she would’ve had two singles tops and while Skyscraper was indeed a very huge hit but Give Your Heart a Break is without a doubt top 5 of Demi’s biggest hits still haha.
    I didn’t know (neither did many other people commenting apparently) that people hated Never Be the Same. I think it’s one of her best songs and definitely 10000% better than I Love It and the entirety of the new album.

    Using billboard charts to determine what is a flop or not is crazy. This list is bad because it is mostly inaccurate, just because a song charts low doesn't meannit was a flop, especially pre 2020 to the 80s.

      @Martina-sl3kd หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      exactly, billboard charts do not make sense to me at all now maybe because I'm not from the US and where I live no one cares about them it's just about enjoying music and listening to the radio. Also why would a song charting #40 on a 200 songs list is considered a flop that's pretty high for me
