@@ravijr4275 The gixxer 250 naked has a slightly better riding position due to flat handle bars. For a single rider, touring can be done easily on a gixxer 250 as the engine is really stress free. However, if you have a pillion, they will tend to slide towards the rider from time to time due to split seat.

@@SHIFTANDSURGE In april 2021, nearly 200 Gixxer 250s were recalled by Suzuki for excessive vibration issue and it seemed like issues with engine mounting and balancer shaft. I don't know whether this problem has been taken care in the subsequent batches and don't know whether current batch 250s have those issues. I just want to ask you, what's your take on vibrations? You told there are vibes at 4500-5000 rpm. May I know at which gear you feel vibes at that rpm and is there any other rpm point where you feel vibrations ? And do you feel any vibrations between 100-130 km/hr at 6th gear?
@@Dhinchu Yes, 199 Motorcycles made between August 12 2019 and March 21 2021 were recalled owing to excessive vibration. Suzuki however had personally contacted owners of faulty motorcycles and fixed this issue free of cost. This issue however was not mentioned in later motorcycles, so you need not have any doubts in this regard if the matorcycle was manufactured after that. Other motorcycles that were made in the same period this issue persisted can easily be identified by taking a test ride and riding the motorcycle over 5000 RPM. I assure you the vibrations in a faulty motorcycle will be very noticeable. The vibrations I mentioned here are almost non noticeable and you wouldn’t have any issues. The motorcycle can cruise rather comfortably on 130 km/h given that the road is right.
Your review is a real review with a awesome narration, you have the capability to go viral with your talent of narration and video graphy ! god bless you! Also tomorrow I am buying this bike in morning, matt black, need some suggestion like what accessories I will be getting with the bike, what things I need to take care in the agency before to get it ready to go , also what other accessories I need to buy which I am not getting with the bike
Thank you! This means a lot. Congrats on the choice. Make sure you capture the moments, during the delivery. Also ensure that you receive the warranty booklet, users manual that contains the free service slips and 2 keys along with the bike. I received grips and seat covers as a complimentary addition. As far as other accessories go , it all depends on your requirements but a tank grip would be immensely helpful. I would also suggest to not rev over the 5000RPM mark till 800 Km’s as this helps preserve the engine better in the longer run. Kudos on the purchase again and All the Best to you!
It’s a small latch you can get to once you open up the rear seat. The helmet is locked in place once you lock the rear seats back in. If a clearer explanation is required, do let me know and I’ll make a short video on that.
Great concise and coherent review. I am looking to replace my H'ness CB350 with a Gixxer 250 since my riding is mostly within the city and the CB350 feels lethargic. Am I making the right choice? I dont want to feel I downgraded because of Gixxer's smaller engine.
Thank you. I haven’t ridden the CB350 yet and so can’t comment on the matter. The SF 250 however is a good blend between sportiness and comfort, the riding position is something you have to feel comfortable with as how comfortable you feel varies for different people. Do take a comprehensive test ride before taking a decision. Thanks for watching !
Not really, it should be comfortable for taller riders too. It however depends on the body style so I suggest you take a test ride and find out if it’s comfortable for you.
It all depends on your requirements. R15 V4 has a more committed riding position and has a higher rev limit. It's perfect for when on the track too. The Gixxer SF 250 has a more relaxed riding position and is more of a sports tourer. Take a test ride and figure out what works for you.
I have been maintaining the bike periodically as per Suzuki’s recommendation and have ridden the bike for about 8500 kms. The only minor issue I have faced is the rusting on the saree guard and on the rear view mirror’s bolts. I haven’t faced any issues other than this.
Hi brother, great review, would like to know one thing though. At what rpm does the vibrations kick in and how much it has improved after you switched to synthetic oil?
Thank you! There are a bit of vibrations near the 5000 RPM mark and then at the higher rev ranges at around 10,000 RPM. After the synthetic oil switch it has been bettered but is still slightly present. However, If you wear riding gear it’s almost not prevalent.
How would you rate the pillion comfort for about 300km rides? Usual traversals are in highways and occasional hill rides, and mostly only 50-100 kms. I ride with my partner and we're both slim. Initial comfort during the test ride was good but just wanted to know about long distance. Thanks in advance for your time!
Pillion comfort is decent for shorter runs. However over longer runs say over 50 km’s, the pillion expressed slight discomfort when traversing through city traffic. The primary concern of the pillion was that the seat was hard and slippery. For highway rides the seat comfort should be fine with 10 - 15 min breaks every 75 - 100 km’s.
Hello everyone, I am planning to buy sf250 but i heard that after sales the service is not good in terms of availability of spare parts of sf250. As this bike sale are lower parts availability is less like this reason showroom employees will give after you buy. So is this true??? Any news for new 2023 sf250 face-lift edition??
Bro are you face any vibration issue after 6000 km. Some owner complain that they face some blancer problem and hitting issue after 6000 to 7000 km rideing. What about your experience? .
There are 2 colours on offer - Matte black and Triton blue. The motorcycle showcased here is a special edition. There are no different variants on offer but accessories can be added. Do check the website for complete details.
As long as one is careful, It is suitable for a beginner - power is delivered linearly . For a rider 6 ft tall the bike should be comfortable, however it’s better to take a test ride.
Bro in local areas we don't go high speed it means 6th gear change option is very rare case to go fast . So in that situation is their any affect to engine. If 6th gear we not change ?
Congrats! To avoid wrist pain, make sure you don’t shift your weight to your hands, tighten your legs around the tank. Keep your elbows slightly bent and sit comfortably. Try using riding gloves in case you aren’t using any. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

Needs are comfortable touring - use in city will be almost nil. Am 5'11 and not slim at 87kilos. What would you recommend if comfort to do 600kms per day touring is key?
The raised handlebars that leads to a more upright riding posture on the Gixxer 250 are more comfortable than the ones on the SF 250. This factor will definitely help in case of long distance touring. The V Strom 250 might also be a good option to consider. Make sure to take a test ride.
Thanks for a quick reply that surely makes sense. However my test ride of all 3 250cc uses of this engine made me feel this about each - Vstrom, felt oddly disjoint in posture of legs vs torso making saddling a strain to stand, and the suspension too felt stiff. The naked handlebar pushed my arms back while the seat and leg posture pushed me forward,, causing a push of crotch against tank. Finally, the SF felt most cohesive... The posture felt connected and the angle felt in one direction. Iv made a choice to go for this one then. Apart from getting used to posture will i have other concerns? Rattling fairing? Spares or servicing concerns?
Y still they give this with non LED blinkers & no Bluetooth connectivity turn by turn navs & a little bigger screen even after 2020 😡 for a bike @ this price
