    I bought BS4 Gixxer SF250 in march 2020 . Ridden 4000kms , after 2nd service brake performance improved a lot , stopping power from 120 to 80 is exceptional (just blink once), The Fun adrenaline range is between 3000rpm to 7500 rpm , you just put 3rd gear at 30 km/hr and it can overtake any vehicle in the city & if you put 4th gear at 40 km/hr and pull the trigger it will fly like a bullet and ll reach to 3 digits in no time ,
    I drove 650 kms in one day ( technically 12 hours with 2.5hrs of big break ) and still i was not much tired , i felt like i could cover 150-200 kms more in same day , i am very much satisfied with my purchase , I hope one day i ll be able to clock 1000 kms in a day (well thats my next target) .
    Something special i felt is the balance of the bike even at as low as 5km/hr or at high speeds like 149 km/hr is exceptional . With a Trackpack loaded on the pillion seat , I rode it on the ghats of Udaipur vadodara highway at 100km/hr (leaning left or right) and the grip of tyre on the road was phenomenal..(although it was well burnt before) it gave me so much confidence even at such high speeds on the bank of the road.
    I must say Suzuki has made this bike such an awesome machine , dont forget this brand makes the same legendary Busa & GSX1000R .

      @motobuzz1681 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You are right 😍👌....
      I also use this machine and done 2000km ....but how you can improve your braking system?
      Service centre give any extra parts ?

    • @abhishekjaswal22
      @abhishekjaswal22 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@motobuzz1681 Nothing extra ... Just do service on time .. because in new bike the brakes are not grind properly (becuase they are brand new) as disc surface has certain +ve tolerance which gets adjusted by continious rubbing of brake callipers by the time... After 2nd or 3rd service or 2000-2500 kms gradually you will start getting bite... Specially on front brake ... I also had issue with rear disc brake as it was locking sometimes due to hard braking (resulting in tyre skidding) When i told this to Suzuki mechanic he suggested me to not to press brake too hard in the beginning because rear disc has lot of torque it need certain time to adjust , So basically after proper rubbing of disc you will feel the magic of ABS , it happens with every new bike he added .

      I am extremely satisfied with the bike performance 😀

  • @anuranpandit9512
    @anuranpandit9512 3 ปีที่แล้ว +22

    I am so happy to see Strell review my bike😀.
    Originally I wanted a CBR 250R and since I didn't get any, so I went for this MotoGP sf250 bs6 and I have to say I'm not disappointed. This particular colour just changes the look of the bike. It is a head turner for sure.
    I do have some issues though. The rider seat has a steep downward slope so even if I sit a little back I slide down towards the tank. The pillion footpegs are a bit small and quite high. Feels even higher in real life than in pictures. My mom or dad cannot get up on the pillion seat while my girlfriend finds it a little uncomfortable to climb it. So before getting it take your pillion to see if they are comfortable if that is a priority.
    It is a new bike, only 1 service had been done and after the 1st service the clutch sometimes doesn't work between neutral and first gear. Like the gear shaft moves but the gear doesn't change. So sometime this creates a problem in signals. I'll get it checked soon.
    And one more thing, this bike has a big turning radius. Maybe as I become more and more skilled I'll be able to take sharper turns but nonetheless, this takes considerable space.
    Also they have increased the price a lot compared to the bs4 model, more than Pulsar or KTM etc.
    Other than these few nit picks I love it. I can't help just looking at it. it's so damn good looking. It is very comfortable to switch lanes or change direction in traffic (cannot say about sudden changes because I've never been in a close call, and I don't want to be in one) and overall feels awesome to ride. I consider it a good purchase and hope to get more and more skilled at riding this beauty.

    • @raziur247
      @raziur247 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Could you please share a bit more details according to your own experience regarding pillion comfort?

    • @anuranpandit9512
      @anuranpandit9512 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@raziur247 See the pillion seat is flat and comfortable. I have asked everyone who have sat on it to share their views and everyone has said the seat is comfortable. The only gripe is the height of the foot-pegs and their small size. For example if someone is wearing heels they will have a real hard time getting up or keeping their feet on the pegs. But other than that the seat is comfortable and big enough, i'd say a blessing if you compare it to R15 or RR310 or something like that. As I said older or shorter people may find it difficult to climb on that seat but it is not much of a problem for young people. Now I cannot say about very long journeys because that kind of journeys are not possible in these COVID times.

    • @anuranpandit9512
      @anuranpandit9512 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      One more thing I forgot to tell about the bike. When it was completely new the rear brakes were horrible. The front brake was very good. The rear took a long time to break in and I mentioned that it is very weak during the first service. But after the first service it has become much better.

    • @Revboiuk09
      @Revboiuk09 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I also own one matt black bs6, the bike is definitely a head turner, I have faced same issue in the gearbox to shift the first gear, will it be resolved after first service?

    • @harshshrivastava9647
      @harshshrivastava9647 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Revboiuk09 ya bro even I've taken the test ride i experienced that clutch is little bit harder and the rear brake is not good initially after the Service can't say but I'm having trouble to shift to neutral and to first in traffic it automatically shits to 2 not 1 first but because of the power it pulls from the 2 gear

    most practicle bike in 250cc segment,
    dominar is too heavy for flicking in cities (180 KGs)
    fzs lacks 6th gear, not a great deal on hiighways,
    this bike weighs 164kg with fairings, can be easily riddden cities
    perfect mileage and power for highways
    for touring it has better pillion seats
    big miss in this bike-
    1. slipper clutch
    2. usd forks
    3. led indicators
    4. visor
    (1 and 2 are essentials but are kind of subjective)
    3 and 4 can be easily improved by using aftermarket indicators and db visor..
    comparing its price point for the faired version it gives bikes like rs200, may be rc200, and some other good bikes run for their money.
    since its a oil cooled engine, its maintenance is also low and suzuki oiled cooling engines is reliable since suzuki is one of the first manufactures to introduce oiled cooling

I beileve, Handlebars on Gixxer250SF, should have been Street-fight Bar, Headlight section little higher as you mentioned, something similar like Hero Extreme 200S has. And yes, Suzuki could have added Slipper Clutch at least with addition of 5k, B'coz if anyon wants USDs on this, Can install later, Slipper clutch can not be done aftermarket....... Hi I m planning to buy one 250 edition but I just wanted to know do you feel that gixxer 250 naked one which weighs around 155 kgs will be more faster in acceleration and response as compared to 250 sf which weighs 161 kgs ?

    A little comparison with the CBR 250R please, I would like to know which is sportier to ride and also which one has more aggressive handlebars and more rear-set footpegs? Your valuable opinion is appreciated.

    Hi Strell your videos are too good, especially your reviews from touring perspective. I am planning to buy a 250cc motorcycle... I am looking for a decent tourer machine and I’m considering gixxer SF 250 and KTM 250... can you review new duke 250 as it has 320mm front disk brake and same headlight setup as 390... your view on new duke 250 will help me to choose the one suitable for me.

    I own the Black beauty Edition, and rode in extremely High wind Storm with rain on Delhi Roads and It felt stable, crosswinds can do nothing while you ride this powerful but enjoyable machine, so light weight, so agile and extremely fun to ride.
    Only things I feel it lacks are
    Switchable Track Modes
    Switchable ABS
    Main Stand (really Suzuki?? For cost cutting)
    And ASS (After Sale Service)

    Hey brother, currently I am owning a TVS Apache RTR 200 and the suspension is too soft for my liking. On Highways it bounce a lot which makes me uncomfortable and not inspire confidence. Is it any good in this regard?
