    I give this one a 10 lots of ideas that u could do with the outer buildings they looked very tidy condition . Gite setup also looked great . Main House kept the character of any French Chateau looked very homely and would be easy to live in . Land need to be setup for the horses but thats pretty easy to do u could make paddocks out the back u do not want the horses up the front anyhow . Best one yet for the Spa and Gite BnB u name it .

    👏👏 Denise, I'm sure you took one of the horse statuary in the outbuilding... could it be a sign like "Blue" back in Australia? 🙂 Love the older MINI in the garage. I currently drive and have owned several MINIs. Nice property.

    Oh My. Love that the previous owners kept the charm, character & history of this property in tact. It would definitely be a memorable spa and overnight experience ...if this should be the one. Too bad there wasn't more land for the horses. Definitely a beautiful chateau with endless possibilities for you.

    oooh, this one is special. I loved the two side wings, like a couple of Petit Trianons that have the added benefit of a little bit of privacy for guests and/or owners. Although in good nick, I didn't necessarily like all the interiors, but that kind of thing would be where you can leave your own stamp. And the renovated stables would make a fantastic day spa, not just for house guests but even more visitors. Well, since you have been keeping your own thoughts on the various properties quiet so far, I guess I'll have to wait for a later vlog when you will share your thoughts which of the chateaux you felt a connection to...

    I've been curious about that chateau. It's stunning inside, much better than I imagined. Spa, tick. But it's a shame that amongst 6ha there's nowhere apparent for the horses. It has been on the market since I started looking about 2 years ago - overpriced do you think?

    I'm in agreement with others, this place is exquisite. Remember it costs less to heat when the ceilings are lower.
    The horses are important, looks like you have plenty of room for them. Ask the agent if there is land to rent or buy nearby....if this is the one you will find the answer

The giant cobbles too. I just know you can restore that main section back to something beautiful on the outside! If I win Tatts (if you're from Oz you know what I mean) I may beat you to it 😅😉🤣

    The best setup yet if u love one of these Chateau s I wouldn't pee around to much as they do get snapped up quick . And that one for me was tge best so far for a business. I'm sure u fence a place off for horses there are u bringing yr ones over ? And if not what's the hurry u want to get the business and moving in done first anyhow . Not sure how many more u have to see but this one ticks more boxes , not sure how much land . ❤ Has that French look it be a good thing the ceiling are not to high as it be easy to keep warm too the detail inside again was gorgeous and I stay here for sure ❤.

  • @angelatorlop4319
    @angelatorlop4319 ปีที่แล้ว

    Well, this was certainly charming and had its positives. I love that you could separate the guest accommodation and keep the chateau itself as private family accommodation. The stables looked perfect for a day spa. I would not be surprised if a lot of those bedroom ceilings had been lowered, and you may well be able to put the height back with careful renovation if you are so inclined. The kitchen was extremely charming, I would be almost tempted to repaint and leave it as is, I loved the old tiles and old-fashioned cooker. I do not know much about horses, I have heard that you need 1 acre of paddock per horse, but you would know this better than I. How possible to convert the bushy part into horse accommodation? or steal a bit of the nice-looking park? Of course, this all depends, on position, price, and how this one compares to the others, what comprises and possibilities there are. I do not envy you guys the task of whittling the list down.

    Oh good you mentioned a place for tge horses; I missed if they were apart of the move. Well that is certainly different and yes, quaint, and, with a lot of potential. So hard to choose. Will the spa business be a day spa or a B&B spa facility? You could have one of owners as a guest house and the main for just you two.

    With people 'doing it tough' I don't think people will have enough money to pamper themselves on day spas. Paying utility bills and buying food will take precedence over self-indulgent pastimes that you're considering investing in. Reality, unfortunately, is often a bubble-burster.
    NB:- You've titled your videos "Selling Up and Buying.....", activities that involve money! Yet you're careful to omit the asking price for these properties; a factor that, as a subscriber, I find quite annoying. Why aren't you mentioning a price tag in all of this? It seems a little suspicious to me and I'm unsubscribing as a result. Good luck with your quest all the same!
