- We are driving through France and trying to find the right region to buy our dream chateau. Of course there are many many beautiful chateaux around and some of them we are visiting in this episode!
Meet Patrick from Chateau de Colombe @JourneytotheChateau
He and his husband Stuart just moved in not long ago and the treasures around this chateau are amazing! Patrick gave us a tour!!! 🏰
Also we got to meet Jane and Tony from @notquiteachateaudiy !! We couldn’t have had
a funnier night with them and also Patrick joined us there with his parents from Hamburg.

Glad to see you guys met Patrick, Stuart, Tony, and Jane. I follow their channels too. I noticed you guys in Patrick & Stuart's most recent video. I have not met them yet, but hope to do so when I return to France later this month. I have met several other chateau owners on recent trips and spent the summer working on a couple of the chateaus while doing my real estate search. Continue to enjoy your trip! Cheers-

I knew you were meeting up with Patrick and Stuart because I watched their vlog yesterday. It must have been really great getting to meet them in person and look around their gorgeous chateau. The little chateau with the moat looked interesting. Good luck with chateau hunting.

What a fabulous place , and love how they have kept the buildings out side untouched . The dogs give it a classic look great breed . Well someone now has Chateau fever i do hope u get to go buy your dream .

Now that Chateau is gorgeous they have not mucked around with it , ok it needs pain and paper but its look how a Chateau should . Loved the outer buildings u dont see many building with how they were used most have been stripped from all there uses . Cant wait to see yr next Chateau u look at .

Your partner may go through culture shock. I had that when I went to Europe. I wanted to get away from all the old buildings and be in nature. All the resonances one all those old cobbled streets can be overwhelming.

The unfinished walls in the one room make no sense and look terrible. Is there any explanation?
They are in a renovation process. Everything takes time and priorities have to be set. They plan to do them up as well. :)
