Yeah all of the Reasons are about maintaining the status quo of the universe (a status quo regulated by YHVH with Kagutsuchi) through an endless cycle of Conceptions, just with different philosophical bents. Hence all of them being the Law route to True Demon's Chaos route.
In a way it's the weak forever serving the strong and those that are useless being purged from society, and in the context of law, that's kind of exactly what YHVH always wants in the games. Chaos on the other hand is like an ultimate freedom of choice with the consequence being anarchy and suffering. In a chaos route, the hierarchy of the strong ruling over the weak is an unfortunate consequence of a world with ultimate freedom while Chiaki's world is very much set up to be the kind of world where the strong rule over the weak, an enforced hierarchy.

I’ve been running a magic build this whole game, so when I found out the Gaea Magatama was locked behind a strength check I was naturally pretty miffed. “But it’ll be fine,” I thought “for I can just complete the Fifth Kalpa to help with grinding to increase my strength.” I finished the Kalpa after about an hour and a half, then on my way back to save before I was going to fight Metatron, demi-fiend got hit by Dormina + Eternal Rest and I lost all my progress.

Next time on nyarly suffers: persona 5 with only morgana (only joker and morgana equipped, and joker is to be at 1 hp and can only guard. Morgana is the only one that can do anything meaningful in battle. Also don’t level up futabas confidant. To make it so that you would get the least amount of help from her as possible)
Mot is that boss that doesn't know he's op, but you are dead once he realizes he can spam beast eye to destroy you completely. It's scary considering that winning depends on him never deciding to spam that tactic, and hoping you dodge when he does use it
I'm glad this game doesn't run on pokemon rules for ai resource management for sp (or move pp in pokemon's case). If it did, then all the bosses would have infinite use of their abilities and you just wouldn't get anywhere in this run.

If I recall correctly, when he uses evil melody, if all party members are at same hp percentage, he’ll choose randomly. That’s likely why he got Demi fiend, Daisoujou and White Rider instead of consistently one demon.
There's a really easy way to defeat Mara: You buy a few attack mirrors, fight Mara, taunt it twice at the start of the fight and then spam attack mirror until it uses Hades Blast, it kills itself in one hit 100% of the time 😁

I was a little scared from it notoriety of difficulty amd expected to to he much harder than then persona 3-5 and honestly part of it was pure luck with my setups for bosses. But honestly most boss fights died in 2 attempts thanks to buff/debuff spamming. they were very enjoyable though. Except for matador. Wow that was a wake up call lol. But also null light/dark and null ice.(for some reason on mc) worked really well. But I'll start a ng cycle on hard once I feel like jumping back in.

The Scarlet Shepherd The story of all Shin megami tensei games is really fascinating, well written and questions the player's position about philosophical themes such as elitism, anarchy and the likes (with decisions drastically influencing the characters that will survive or die as well as the bosses encountered and even the ending itself). It's far from being a torture like you said, it's a really deep game with a complex fighting system and with only a few bosses that look quite unfair at times but this guy's got a lot of luck on his side (as well as skills).

When I first fought flyboi I nulled dark but no one on my party did. So it ended up being me,daisoujou, and a dumb shadow demon. I drained all his mp eventually and won by forcing him to use just physical attacks.

The turn before Holy Melody, after the boss even emotes he's going to use it, you Bead Chain to restore your 10 HP Girimehkala to full health. Oopsie-daisy.
Law in SMT is not "all about peace and equality". It's about serving rigid hierarchical structures, being useful to those above you, following orders without question and not breaking laws and traditions. It's a cruel and authoritarian philosophy which often results in killing those who are perceived as *weak*. Only instead of Chaos' interpretation of weakness Law sees your mind as weakness. Chiaki's reason on paper might sound like typical Chaos ending, but she preaches about *society* where the weak either serve the strong or are wiped out. Not everybody is out for themselves, but society. In absence of YHVH/Elohim to wrangle his angels, I can see angels supporting this Reason. Yeah, Hikawa's reason is closer to what typically you see Law alignment represents in SMT, but Hikawa's sponsor is Ahriman who is Zaostrian version of Devil. So I can see why angels jumped the ship and allied with Baal who usually is either Neutral or Law aligned
I love Nyarly, but the philosophy of the reasons and alignments in SMT goes over his head. He doesn’t really understand them. When he did Yosuga route for his Merciful run, he was confused as to why he had to fight Chiaki even though he sided with her lol. Like that’s the entire point of Yosuga my guy, it’s endless conflict to find the “strongest.”

Chiaki is not chaos though. Its not survival of the fittest either, is strict social rankings. You know, an eternal king that nobody can question, eternal nobles that have never have to worry about loosing their status or power in society and a lower class of peasents that only exist to serve them.
I sometimes forget this is on hard mode. Even if some bosses give him hell, I think he's beating them at a lower level than I was when I fought them on normal.
Any game in this franchise without buffs or debuffs sounds like a recipe for a shortened lifespan the amount of rage it would cause from the levels of RNG would be pure torture and probably make your hair turn grey in a matter of weeks

The Scarlet Shepherd The story of all Shin megami tensei games is really fascinating, well written and questions the player's position about philosophical themes such as elitism, anarchy and the likes (with decisions drastically influencing the characters that will survive or die as well as the bosses encountered and even the ending itself). It's far from being a torture like you said, it's a really deep game with a complex fighting system and with only a few bosses that look quite unfair at times but this guy's got a lot of luck on his side (as well as skills).
That Beast Eye clip feels like whenever the Yu-Gi-Oh anime used Pot of Greed. Just bullshit on top of bullshit.

When I first fought flyboi I nulled dark but no one on my party did. So it ended up being me,daisoujou, and a dumb shadow demon. I drained all his mp eventually and won by forcing him to use just physical attacks.

Law in SMT is not "all about peace and equality". It's about serving rigid hierarchical structures, being useful to those above you, following orders without question and not breaking laws and traditions. It's a cruel and authoritarian philosophy which often results in killing those who are perceived as *weak*. Only instead of Chaos' interpretation of weakness Law sees your mind as weakness. Chiaki's reason on paper might sound like typical Chaos ending, but she preaches about *society* where the weak either serve the strong or are wiped out. Not everybody is out for themselves, but society.
In absence of YHVH/Elohim to wrangle his angels, I can see angels supporting this Reason. Yeah, Hikawa's reason is closer to what typically you see Law alignment represents in SMT, but Hikawa's sponsor is Ahriman who is Zaostrian version of Devil. So I can see why angels jumped the ship and allied with Baal who usually is either Neutral or Law aligned
I love Nyarly, but the philosophy of the reasons and alignments in SMT goes over his head. He doesn’t really understand them. When he did Yosuga route for his Merciful run, he was confused as to why he had to fight Chiaki even though he sided with her lol. Like that’s the entire point of Yosuga my guy, it’s endless conflict to find the “strongest.”

Any game in this franchise without buffs or debuffs sounds like a recipe for a shortened lifespan the amount of rage it would cause from the levels of RNG would be pure torture and probably make your hair turn grey in a matter of weeks

After your video I began playing Nocturne and I was going to receive the true demon ending, but....... game began freezing after I have beaten Metatron and nothing has saved me from this . I am glad you did not have this bug, that would have destroyed the complete run.
