Simple and awesome. Please sell this in Europe. Will be a big success. Unreal Engine live capture support is important. By the way, I hope programmers from Sony improve the capture, so your character's feet never float above and around the floor like the character would hang on a rope above the floor. Also, make smooth intermediate animation points between captured data (you can supersample the animation to 100 Hz this way), so the moves are very very smooth and not jerky. Just analyze a few anim points per each sensor to smooth that out beautifully.

I want to use complete custom code (Unity and Blender Python) to read the mocap. I have existing code to read TCP and UDP from any server but need to know what format your data is in. I'm guessing position and rotation but in what order, etc? My goal is to share with my Unity SIG group members and (for them) some online tutorials on this product and how to leverage in both Unity and Blender.

There is one HUGE problem with Mocopi.
The Mocopi-App without which the Mocopi-kit is useless, does not work in certain regions. A message will come up in Google Play or App Store saying: Not available in your region.
Så Sony has sold a product, that is totally useless and dysfunctional, and there is no other option than to return the kit. This is totally absurd, since motion capture has nothing to do with regions.
Another problem is, that the support site, that Sony gives, is fake. No-one is answering mails.
Sony Corporation has a problem.
Sony, can you add youtube chapters for each headline? Would make it way easier to navigate this setup video later

Just 450$ and you can do so much cool stuff :O This is not perfect moton capture. But 4 absolute beginners this will be just fine 2 get started

Will they really perform better by pairing them flat on a table, or will they just *connect* faster by not being in motion? Cause them performing better by pairing flat makes like 0 sense
The only thing I can imagine is that they hide the Bluetooth if the node is tilted or vertical? Can't explain it otherwise.
😢 Phone is not compatible. Bought for my son and he has no iPhone or a compatible android. Are there any other ways to connect? PC?

When will this be made available in the rest of the world Sony? You have an incredibly bad habit of only making products (Aibo, Airpeak) available in Japan and the US. Why on earth does Sony not want the reat of the world as customers???
