My parents had the same one. Mowing the lawn was my hobby back in the day🤣🤣 if i wasn't living in a suburb with a small garden i would have bought a similar thing. Love the series and build you are doing.
Looking forward to the on road shake down cruise!!! That's the time that you'll find the bugs!!!!! The sooner the better. Address them and be done with it!!!! Nice mower soooooo far!!!!😊
Hey Bro, that exhaust sytem looks like it could use a hangar to sypport some of that weight-also I'm seeing guys on YT doing pulley swaps to get that speed up...great fab work!!
I didn't mention it in the muffler video, but I didn't hear much difference in loudness without the muffler and with it. A difference in sound, but not much in volume. It seems pretty loud to me. However, congratulations on the 1 inch larger drive belt working OK. Looked like a fun ride. Something of a nice go cart. I'm waiting to if the seat goes back in. My drive and deck belts cost closer to $40 each, but I have two with a 46" deck, so your Murray may have been smaller. I like that yours has a gas pedal. Neither of mine do.
It does still seem pretty loud, but not unbearable. It definitely is a fun ride and handles like a go kart. The original seat isn’t going back in, but I have a special surprise coming for that 😏
Kind of behind the curve here, but maybe put a 90 on the shifter. It should move the lever out from behind your leg. Maybe do the same for the handbrake. Great series by the way.
Sweet. I have the same project goin. Not as low…. Eliminated the clutch pulleys and did a cvt deal. Have you found inconsistency with tires? I’m running 20x8-8 and between carlisle and kenda, the tires are not the same. Taller sidewall on kenda
I have thought about putting a torque converter on it, but I’m trying to do the build as inexpensively as possible. I may save that for another mower build in the future
Black smoke from exhaust. Put a new carb on it. Ain’t got no gas in it. 😂 new carb will solve issues. Guaranteed to have bad gas set up in it. Don’t forget, clutch and brakes used to work in tandem, try pulling the brake when pushing clutch. Should solve the surge issue. 😊
Ok - 6:12 … I guess I had to be there?? I thought I was the king of Rando 😂🤣 I sorta want to know, but it’s like that time you ask for the joke to be explained 👀- nice sequence from bench to drive off! U sure u haven’t done this before?? For a rookie u must be happy with what you’ve made? I’m rationing your vids and being careful to avoid spoilers to see where your channel has gone from this… do you have other passion projects lined up? Was that you with the golf cart thing?
😂 I just enjoy memes, especially the classics. I do have an electric to gas golf cart conversion that I’ll be doing after the mower. It’s an EZ GO work horse with a manual dump bed
I have a video coming out Saturday that breaks down all the ways to increase speed on the different kinds of riding mowers. The easiest and most universal is to increase the rear tire diameter. Depending on what transmission you have, the next easiest is usually swapping the rear pulley with a smaller one, then you could do a larger pulley on the engine, and you could also run a jackshaft with different size pulleys
Dude you wouldn't have had to go and do all that stuff if you to change that great big pulley that was on the back of the transmission to a much smaller pulley and it would have been much faster

Thank you very much!
Can’t wait to see it run down the road!

I’m looking forward to it as well, thank you!!
it was a wide body before but now man that looks sick reminds me of mad max before the paint

100% pulley swap
I wonder if it would be beneficial to tilt the front spindles back just slightly so you have a little caster built in.

@@wybarprojects Looking forward to it! I'll be starting #10 later today. I noticed a seat with a blue backrest, but that's probably not it.
You got me to yell at my computer when you said you were running to TS for parts and didn't come back with a battery.
😂 I was trying to hold out as long as possible
Fun video good job
first! This thing has gone far scene you got it.

That’s awesome!
As far as tires, what I have is what it came with and I believe they’re Carlisle
You might need to add a centrifugal clutch on the drive pully at the motor, or a pto clutch.

Day 2 of asking him to put better rims on his lawn mower
😂 I did see some plastic snap-on wheel covers
That’s what I been thinking!!!!

I'd do a baffle instead of a muffler. It would be smaller and lighter.

I'm going to remodel for off-road use for the first time in Korea. I've tried fixing the differential in a car. Please tell me how to speed it up.

@@wybarprojects It's not an easy challenge in Korea, but I think it will be fun in the future.
@@bigboy6309 I wish you the best of luck! And feel free to ask questions anytime
Could you send me the link to the muffler?

That poor 280 in the background by the dumpster 😭
Not mine! 😂
@@wybarprojects needs to be so you can fix it
Another great episode!....what's next?
Thank you!
Next is a new battery (finally lol), then finish welding panels and start prepping for paint! And of course more test driving

DOM tubing, most expensive exhaust pipe ever, lol.
Second!
