@@BackToTheStuds I come from the Netherlands, City of Zwolle, we live in a house from 1720. our house is heated with a gas boiler, but we want to switch to a heat pump with a source in the earth.
Hey guys, really nice and interesting video. It is also cool to see your progress in editing these house updates. It really is a good quality video. Keep going like that. Can’t wait for the next one.

How exciting your to plumbing. Your home is taking shape. I will be so excited to see the final product when it’s time. I know you must be more than ready for the journey to be over with.
Oh, Will, it felt like it was rushing all spring and summer, and then six weeks ago it all got SO slow and we've been waiting on Special Inspections and a new site safety plan. Last week was HVAC so that's in and I'll be sharing that next. And YES. SO ready for this to be done. 😀
@@Bradh1961 Oh goodness. I can’t imagine what special bureaucratic hell nyc must be. Bless you guys. I live in texas and a/c is a must for sure. I hope that it gets straightened out quickly for you guys. Your fortunate to have what seems to be very talented and capable people working on it at least. I was wondering about y’all. How it was going.
We are blessed to have our GC and his team. He’s been great. We’re having the Mitsubishi mini split system so each room can have its own temperature. This’ll be our first time ever having actual whole house AC so we’re excited.
i love watching your videos! I just wished you guys posted more often but i do understand everyone has a life 😂 can’t wait to see the journey of the rest of the house!😌
Hi Jacob. They’ve created a new side wall along the entire shared side of our house by filling in where all the brick used to be between the studs using DenseGlass sheathing. Our engineer wasn’t satisfied that the old brick was enough of a firewall.
You have amazing contractors..
Hi Tara, most of our crew is Polish and we’re big fans 💪💪💪

@@BackToTheStuds it's really cool to see how you guys are renovating, really very different from here.
@@deweerdtrichard From in the earth? Oh, that sounds super cool but expensive???
@@BackToTheStuds I think that a heat pump in America is cheaper than here, in the Netherlands on average around €15,000.
So nice almost finish

I’m in love w your contractor
Riiiight?? He’s been great and we’re so happy with him and his team!💪

Hi Melissa! We got some fabulous new pipes!!
I see that! This is damn near a trade school lesson in plumbing 😄 and kudos to Martin. He's a stand up guy!
Great as usual!
Thanks, Elizabeth. Copper is king! That’s what the Gilded Age moguls said when they were investing in copper and silver mines. 😊

Hi Elizabeth and thanks! The plumbing has been so satisfying to see installed. I’m such a big fan of their work!
Smart using steel pipe, much quieter!!!
I’ve definitely lived in houses with noisy plumbing, so this is a treat.

Hi Fran! Thanks for the encouragement! I honestly don’t know how people post videos every week!
What will replace the brick they removed to place the stacks?

Why not just use abs pipes.
