In this video i'm unboxing & testing the tplink tlwn725n usb wifi adapter.
I have also shown how to install tp link tl-wn725n usb wifi dongle in windows 7.
This video will also shows how to install usb wifi driver without using Driver CD.
With this usb wifi adapter you can install wifi on any computer.

@@acumen1 Look, our mobile phones have a wifi feature with which we can connect to a wifi hotspot that has internet.
The wifi feature in our phones and laptops is built in.
However, Desktop computers does not have any wifi feature. With this dongle we can add wifi feature in our Desktop or laptop if the laptop's wifi is damaged.
Now, just because your phone and laptop has wifi feature you can't connect to internet.
So, you will still need an internet connection. And once you have an internet connection at you place, you can connect to internet using the wifi feature of your device, be it your phone, laptop or a Desktop with a wifi dongle.
Remember, this is not an internet connection it just gives your device Wifi capability.
Hope it all makes sense now.

If you guys ever run into a problem where you plug in a “newer” wifi adapter and it doesn’t function without drivers, I recommend getting a “Tenda W322U 2.4ghz adapter”. It’s slow but the purpose is so you can get some wifi connectivity so you can actually get drivers for the newer adapter you are intending to use.
It has saved me a lot of hassling work arounds and highly compatible for just having temporary slow wifi. It works instantly on systems like windows 7 and higher without drivers.
The biggest pain with these newer adapters is many of them don’t function without drivers installed first. Having an older WiFi adapter helps you to get what you need easier. You can use a disc of course if it comes with one but not everyone has a CD-ROM/DVD-ROM these days.

So if I put the download on a USB it would work still? And also when it is download how does the adapter know which wifi to use or does it simply act as a wifi card allowing you to connect to other wifi in the area

No, please understand that Wifi and Internet are two different things.
This device only makes your old computer or laptop wifi capable but you will still net Internet connection.
Agr tv pe network setting ka option na ho mean wifi support mhi krta tv kya tb bhi google Chromecast or je tp link device work kr lega ??

i have only tested it at 6-7 meters distance. it works fine.
it also depends on the room size and the wall thickness and many other things in your room can affect the signal.

So do you have to use the disc? My PC does not have a disc tray to put CD/Discs in.
just follow the instruction in the video. no need to use the disc. download the driver the tplink website and install them.

This dongle will give you range of about 6-7 meters. IF that is what you need then you can buy this dongle.

I bought this adapter as had some problems with my Windows 10 laptop Wi-Fi connectivity. It's installed and my home wifi is getting connected to Wi-Fi 2 but the speed I am getting is 0.45 Mbps whereas I have 100 Mbps plan. Updated drivers also but not working. Need help. How to get the speed increased?
What speed do you get while connected through a cable.

Will this work with the PC with Wired Connection? Im planning to install this to office Pc. The Pc doesnt have wifi hotspot. Its connected on a (i dont know what its called, its a black thing with a lot of wires it it. All of the PC in the office is connected in it). I hope you can answer if its applicable. So i can buy immediately.
The black thing you are talking about is probably a Network HUB or a Network Switch.
The answer to you question is NO.
IF you office is not using a wireless form of Network then you will not be able to use this dongle to connect to you office network.

This may be a stupid question but can this connect to a gaming console like an Xbox or Ps4?
I don't think so because there is no way of installing drivers on ps4 or xbox.
However, there is no point using a wifi adapter on gaming console as the connection would not be reliable. i recommend Ethernet cable.

if you had to download the driver from the internet, then what was the cd for?
cd also contains the driver. But, a lot of people don't have a cd reader in their computer. or the reader is not working most of the time.
Also, the drivers on the cd may not be up to date.
