Not only is he talented behind the camera but he's an absolute animal behind the wheel of his 1993 Mazda RX7! This car runs hard making over 900WHP and is without a doubt TRC approved. He does it all with this car from 1/4 mile, street digs, roll racing, autocross, etc... We put a lot of love into this one, hope you enjoy it!

Agreed. I can appreciate a well done LS swap, but not in an RX-7. Why replace the most unique thing about the car? They can last a long time if well looked after.
Like honestly a lot of you guys are saying he should have kept the rotary or whatever. But you have to be honest with yourself, that's a down and dirty V8 right there. Most of the time a RX7 is V8 swapped, they're half freaking rigged...No paint job, fenders all cut up, and just a whatever setup. This guy has done everything! He's appreciated the fact that this car was birthed with a rotary and is a sin to engine swap. But he has at least took such a beautiful car into the hands of an angel.

There are a multitude of engine choices. But it all depends what he was after. It's a damn gorgeous build and it's done extremely well. Rotories are incredibly expensive to build properly for that kind of power and to maintain it is crazy pricey as well. This a clean ass build. Great job!

The engine and horse power evolution on this car mirrors my '02 TA almost exactly! Went from 550 whp with the Vanessa and stock bottom end LS1, to 742 with a PTE 7675, and shooting for 900 with a forged 6.0 that's going in over the winter. The FD is a much sexier looking car though! Great work on this thing Chris!!

Awesome car man. Yeah the more you learn about rotory's the more you appreciate the people that keep them, but if you want a reliable car there is just no way. I like this option. As long as FD's are cared for, IDC what you do with them.
Thank you and yeah I preach the same thing. I just care about these FD's living on. I respect any drivetrain someone wants in their build. Thats the point of building a car for you.

Owned several Rx7s, true the rotary are temperamental but that's what the Rx7 is all about. I would miss the rpm's revving to no end. LS swapping it never crossed my mind. Nice build excluding the motor.
