- After 120 days of intensive work, the Mazzei Formula 4 Rotor RX7 is back with new braking system, aerodynamics, suspension upgrades, axles, differential and a pneumatic paddle shifted sequential dog box transmission. Watch as we test this monster on the empty roads!
"Yes officer, it's stock"
This car should be offered to the legendary guys at Hot Version (Best Motoring) in Japan to record for a show. Guys like Tsuchiya who have driven every type of RX-7 ever made. They'd love it.
Just when you think this car couldn’t get any cooler...
A four-rotor at redline is one of the most amazing sounds ever.
Car sounds: “we’re going CRAZY fast!” Speedometer: “uh, we goin 32 mph bro...”
Officer: “What the hell are you doing?”
That has to be one of the best builds I’ve ever seen. I’m not going to lie I am grinning ear to ear with a three quarter chub watching this
Upgrading to a sequential is like when I went from a 600cc to a 1000cc with a quick shifter. It doesn't seem right to just stay on the gas but those instant shifts are unreal.
some 16 year old: "My engine has a turbo."
It shifts faster than my ex’s mood
Just when I was feeling proud after having done my own oil change for the first time on my 1 ltr Daihatsu.....
I could've bought a sequential gearbox for my S14. It only cost $13,000, more than the car was worth.
Imagine cruising in the right lane with the windows down and this thing screams past you!!?? Poop on my seat.
Still remember him saying "I want to keep it looking like stock" like boi this is fully blown race car.
The attention to detail and the no compromise/no expense spared mentality of this build is truly beautiful.
Thanks for posting this. Its as close as most of us will ever get to driving something like that. Amazing work.
officer: hey i saw u speeding,so, can u do it again
It’s not about miles per gallon, everyone know this, it’s smiles per gallon.
Very cool my man, very cool. To your point of the fun you feel in not having to lift, I felt the same when I installed the quickshifter on my ZX-14. It's a different sensation and different experience for sure. Well done to all who helped on the build and the video.
i like how the automatic subtitle recognizes the engine noise as music 😂👌 very impressive project!
