    Years later this is still awesome and very helpful, especially the tiny tricks as the block breaking and xp collection. Thanks a lot!

    11:40 Also here you can just place another laser drill into the same laser base. That way you can have 2 drills facing one laser base and save up 1 Block of space for more drills

      Good to know. I am curious why it is not a multiple of 12 (4 walls and 3 column pairs per wall.)

    Here is the update you needed 4 years ago. Do not use batteries, use Elite Energy cubes instead. Also Setup the Geothermal Loops in each corner so that the generator is inb the corner of the room under the battery. Lastly connect the generator with the fluxduct wiring. I use Signalum Fluxduct, but thats because i like those ones.

    6:49 Here use Energy upgrades for lower Energy usage so the smelting factory have 100% uptime

    Wouldn't it be more efficient to have 1 base for at least 3 drills? Why did you put one to one? You would save on bases and lenses while have same speed, wouldn't you?
    And thanks for tutorials. Much appreciated.

    The most inefficient laser drill farm I've ever seen, and no, I'm not trolling, it's my honest opinion.

    Why do I never see anyone use gas burners for energy in vids like this?(mekanism) It's an easy setup and with voiding overflow you don't have to touch it after you built it. (not to mention the energy production)

    Dont you need to place a drill on all 4 sides of a laser base?

    • @OnlydravenGaming
      @OnlydravenGaming  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You don't, but you can. A single drill and single base are all that's required.

    it doesnt sustain like you do in your video , you have to place 2 cobb generator each wall and place 1 energy battery each tower of laser drill

    Hi OnlyDraving Gaming. I have a question about your Automatic Laser Drill Farm. Have you ever made a video how the GPS connected to the boxes with the video "How to Build and Fully Automate A Laser Drill Farm" I would like to see how the GPS and boxes and what you whitelist in the Added Export Item. Thanks for your answer.

    You talk like you got all the mod knowledge in the world, but in reality you have no clue whatsoever on how to properly use the laser drills of this mod.
    There is no need to use that many laser base blocks, it's complete overkill. I have a setup that uses only one laser base that can reach 110 laser drills. Yes, you read it right, 1 laser base to support 110 laser drills, and each block is indeed used by the laser base as each GUI confirms, and it also shows by looking at the speed at which ores are mined.
    The fact that you keep one open space between a base and drill makes absolutely no sense either, since a laser base can be touched by a drill and still function properly. Another downside of your setup is that you have very little control. I only have to change lenses in one one core base and only have to change drill depth only once and all 110 drills will follow. You on the other hand have to change each separate core base, so you'll be flying left and right to change these settings, not to mention you would have to use tons of lenses.
    That whole setup of yours uses tons of space, uses way too many materials, is way too slow, and it takes way too much time to adjust depths and lenses to fit one's needs.
    So yeah, if you go online pretending to be the expert, you better educate yourself first, before you upload your video, unless you like to embarrass yourself.
