parabox confuses me so much, why would you keep generating points when it requires more power but still gives only 1 point? also seems like such a stupid mechanic. you basically have to just stand and wait for 10 minutes for it to count down before you can loop. not to mention they just let you dupe items which completely ruins the fun of the game? idk if im playing the game wrong but it seems like it's just rush parabox, make 1 of each useful item then spend 10 hours duping them over and over until you have 32k of each of them now you're infinitely rich. why would you ever build resource hogs or a mob farm or anything like that when you can much more easily get those items with the parabox? you only ever need to get 1 of each item i keep coming back to this vids and other vids about parabox to see if theres some piece of info im missing
Sadly, you're hardly alone, if the many complaints I've seen are any indication, but if you're standing around waiting, you're definitely doing it wrong! There's no need to sit on your hands because, "Everything will all change back when the world reverts after the loop, so there's no point in doing anything!" As pointed out, your inventory doesn't revert with the world! So, use the time in the loop to build a bunch of stuff as you work toward your next quest or whatever major project you're working on, next. With a good backpack, you can bring a *lot* of stuff back with you. (Just don't try to bring everything back at once! You'll be doing lots of loops so focus on the scarcest/most-important stuff.) As long as you keep it in your inventory, it'll still be there when you get back. That's also why you might sometimes run longer loops. (By the way, the whole "higher cost per loop" thing is intended to drive home the point that you're *not* supposed to just AFK for hours on end to rack up prestige, yet time and again, people insist that's how the mechanic works and complain about how "boring" it is because they insist on engaging with it in the most boring way!) But you might run longer if you're in the middle of a larger crafting chain and don't finish in the first 10 minutes... or if you know you have enough power and can keep going, so you decided to just knock off a few more achievements to reduce the times you need to restart your world. I have routinely spent over an hour in a time loop, just because I was busy doing stuff and didn't feel like stopping just to "cash in" my earned prestige.. all without going afk or just "waiting" for even one second. (Okay, I might wait if I've done everything I want to do for that loop, and there's only a minute or two left to the next point, but that's a personal choice and, by no means, required as long as you've gotten at least one!) Sure, large construction projects need to wait until you're outside of the time loop, but you can craft all the components you'll need to build that insane nuclear reactor within the loop, take them back with you, and as an added bonus, you won't have even used up any of the materials required to make those components, since *they* will get reset with the world, as well! Heck, if I'm working with materials that are rarer or time-consuming to come by, I'll often intentionally wait until I start my next time loop precisely so I *don't* actually use them up in my crafting! It actually *saves* me time, because I can keep moving forward rather than waiting for my laser drill to bring up all the ungrowable resources I need. As for the resource hogs, I think those are more for the people who opted out of prestige mode and, therefore, don't have access to the paraobox, though setting them up and automating them can be a fun challenge in its own right. You're right that you probably don't need both. the problem is the pack is trying to cater to as broad an audience as possible, so they give you the tools to approach resource collection in the way that works for you. tldr: Never start a time loop without a plan for what you're doing to do *during* that time loop. As long as you have something you can work toward while it's counting down, there's no reason to ever "just stand and wait for 10 minutes"... and you may find you end up spending far longer than 10 minutes without even realizing it!
It’s only available if you are playing with the prestige game type active, and you have to “unlock” it and other types of blocks/machines with prestige points. Once unlocked it will show in the JEI.

Are you using filters with your Super Sound Mufflers? Or do you just have everything turned off? I am trying to use filters and I can get the Lava Bucket dump sound, but the generator sound is still there, even if I select Recent.
More RF/t, to be exact. an easy work around I figure out is to make Energy batteries and connect on at least 2 sides, wait for the battery to drain, then charge it and repeat. Very tedious, but if you do this correctly, you can farm up energy and energy sources. (hopefully lol)

If you didn't activate prestige mode when you created your world, the parabox isn't available, since there's no need to generate prestige... which is its whole reason for being.
I am genertating more than enough power to have my parabox run but after about 30seconds or so it just turns off. Any idea what i would be doing wrong?
That happens after a certain amount of loops I’ve found. Each time you earn a prestige point it requires more power/time to keep the timer going. You can still input the desired items to keep the timer moving but it will eventually stop moving without it.
I haven’t been able to finish my first one. I have 4 upgradeable geothermal gens with about 9 upgrades in each and my power just drains after a few seconds
It uses an incredibly high amount of power. You may need to make sure each gen is powering a 20 million RF battery of higher and that each is fully charged before starting. You’ll definitely need a minimum of 1-2 stacks of speed modifiers in each gen.
