@@brambuyck1715 I just did it red side, asked our mid talon to join in, he said he didnt want to but then came anyways, and he got fb at 3m :) i went 9/1/7 and talon went 11-2-3 in 15 mins after I stole the red and wouldnt let the poor j4 farm all game :) Would be dependent on having a good team comp for invading tho we had ashe, elise, talon, and ali vs brand, ez, j4. although like they said if you time it right they probably have their abilities on cd, so you have the suprise and ability adv :)
I know you went over good junglers to use this strategy on in the video, but I've been playing Pantheon jungle this season and was curious as to what the verdict would be on him using this strategy, as he is an early game jungler who should be putting pressure like this on the map.

TBH, if you're invading while their lane opponent has slow pushed a large wave that's coming towards their tower, I can't blame them for sticking to the lane. Losing XP early can easily cost you the lane. If your teammates are pushing the wave under turret themselves, then of course they should be ready to respond.
you missed a critical thing in this guide: what do you do if you attempt this and it fails utterly? you cover when things get messy to varying degrees but each instance you show has the strat ultimately succeeds. what about those times it fails? how do you recover from it? you guys are really good at showing good strats, how they work, why they work, and how to execute them, but almost never cover when the strat fails utterly. you acknowledge that it won't work every time, the implication being... what, that's a loss? if you fail do you just lose? even mentioning a different guide to use if you've already covered a level 1 death in jungle would be good but you don't do that either dont get me wrong, i love these videos and the quality of your guides is S tier at least. but you often dont cover when your strats completely fail, leaving prospective players trying it out to flounder and basically lose the game
There is other guide on the channel talking about when you fail to invade, so I guess you can check them up. I think they would still apply here even tho its a little bit different
General idea of those videos is to show you the cheesy strats/give you tricks, which, when executed succesfully, will provide you with significant advantage. In this particular video there is focus on proper technique of taking contested red buffs. I'd say that if you fail the initial invade completely - you will be at mercy of your opponents. I think they already did some sort of a "how to regain lost advantage" guide for top, where they went for 0 cs at 5 minutes or something. For jungle it'll be: play it safe, farm up, try to hang on anybody who get some success in lane. If everybody failed - ff15 =)
It's when you hear "We sent one of our challenger players to x elo" for the 100th time that you really understand where those smurfs on the opposite team in your rankeds come from.
As a new player it's honestly so obnoxious that smurfing is so accepted in LoL, to the point where "training" channels openly endorse doing it. In any other game, with a far less toxic community, beating up new players to feed your tiny ego would be considered pathetic. In League... it's idolised.
You want to know how? You have to make all 2 heralds and 4 dragons before minute 10, gank all three lanes simultaniously while warding and removing enemy vision, and farming the jg. And pray still after that your team won't write. "Gg jg diff" "Afk jg" " jg stealing kills and farm"

I was once on the receiving end of this. Don't remember if it was exactly this strategy, but I got invaded on red, then when trying to catch up on blue I got killed yet again. The "jg diff" easily won the enemy team the game at this point. I had no idea what to do as I could barely farm, with my camps either stolen or being death traps with the enemy jungler just killing me there. That was perhaps the time I was most brutally removed from the game. Not only was I behind and useless, I must admit I got super tilted because of the powerlessness. I kept trying my best until the game ended, but there was literally nothing I was able to do to save the situation. Honestly, I feel like if I actually had quit it'd been better because I became additional gold for the enemy jungler and nothing more.
Happened to me once, against a smurfing lee sin in silver 3 I reckon, mf stole my blue and killed me, proceeded to do the same to my red. I actually won that game bc his team was shit
In macro therms platinum is another shit for example in blues invade blitz sent a "blind" Q when he knows it has a lot of CD in lvl 1...he could wait a good chance in blue buff fight but no!! He need feel some useful and cant understand how and when to do pressure.

The tip is never fight back just leave it and go blue or invade his red after all the midlaner will not follow y for a 5 min timer to secure both reds . y just have to be smart of how to counter jgl ! This happened to me. They said GG right after too. They must have watched this video. Sad thing is, I came back hard on them. I invaded enemy jg hard after that and got every objective until they eventually surrendered. Tip for players: If this happens to you, dont give up! Its still winnable. :D

So I see a big problem with this guide.. As a laner, I automatically go to protect invades at level one, even if just by standing in a bush that I can see the buff from, or ward the pixel brush or the buff itself.. And I tend to do this ONCE the fountain opens.. In all of the scenarios you gave, you - the jungler - always arrived earlier than the other team.. So my question is, in the case that I find them there before me, should I just follow your strategy of staying if we're strong enough to take the level 1 fight? Or do you have another thought for this.. Thanks a ton for the guides! They're amazing and VERY well made
completely agree, in some cases enemy top laner would go to pixel bush, or ward the red bush and spot the invade, this is always what I'm afraid of when invading so a lot of times I only ward the enemy red and try to steal it after I get my blue
I do this as well as toplaner. I guess the answer for this strat is - just jump as 2 on anyone you meet, do some damage and fall back before enemy collapses onto you. With luck you'll get flash from them.

Yeah I was kinda like wtf... even in low elo the enemy team is in 9/10 games in the bush before me or my teammates. And in 8/10 games teammates wont follow so it is just super likely for me dying due to numbers disadvantage or me just running away with nothing because the enemy top laner is there and I am alone with no vision on the rest of the enemy team.
When I saw the notification i said to myself "huh, another strat?" but I already saw it on the site at least a week ago, best subscription evah! This strat won me some very difficult matchups, and I couldn't do it without your help guys, keep up the awesome work
The only problem I see is if the enemy got there early, as a laner im almost always trying to ward the river bush immediately, so this spots the early invade.

I am guessing that everyone talking shit about their team is amazing challenger players if not for their team. I think they are the bad teammates who think, "I know I should help them, but nobody ever helps me in my games so I'm gonna just get toxic when they fail."
Nah, the matchmaking forces you a 50% winrate so you win for example 3 games but then soon lose guaranteed 3+ games after. The system dices you with 4 people who had losestreaks, already tilted people who troll out of desperation. If you have good mmr then it doesnt mean you get the same in your team, its the opposite. They want you to carry a game with for example silver mates against gold enemies. Cant carry 4vs5 cause your mates are afk or trolling? Casino-system go next and pray that you dont get ever again.
I have been religiously following Skill Capped for about 2 months and without a subscription, I went from silver to platinum in those two months. Imagine what it can do for you if you actually signed up!
So many things to line up for this to be successful. Enemies not checking bushes, starting at that side of the map, your laners agreeing to help and rotate, and your far (bot in this case) lane won't be 0/5 at 3 minutes.
This strategy adapts on the current meta play which is place your trinket ward on the top side of the map, recall, take sweaper and go for your botside leash. Since you are already on the topside of the map you can look for a good opportunity to steal your opponents buff and even kill him which will give you a huge lead which needs to be followed up correctly to give you an actual advantage as you show in this video
I am standing at D2 atm, my laners still dont know how to abuse lane priority, so i guess this tactique wont work properlly if you dont have a duo mid laner
It’s often enough that I don’t think it’s worth risking your game so early. Really you just need to make sure your top comes with you or you shouldn’t do it as you might have a 1v2 or worse. I find more consistent and self reliant success with taking your bot side buff straight into your topside buff, then go to their red and drop a ward on it over the wall. If they are fighting it you get ready to steal it and kill them. If not you can take some or all of their Krugs while you wait for them to show on the ward. There are a few variations when you get good at it and tracking and predicting your enemy jg. But this way you wait til all the laners are busy and you don’t have to rely on your team being good and showing up and theirs being bad and not showing up. I find I still have early aggression but it’s safer and more reliable. I’m in bronze.
I don't jungle, but I tried out trundle 3 times in draft. I tried this and it works for the most part. I am a bit iffy though due to the matchups. Only real jg I faced was Yi.
Jungling can be so complex, while you have these Hangover meme gif mathematics flowing through your head, your team will still lose lane and blame you for it
I gotta say, having this done to you is one of the lowest feelings in league. Yeah, you get a terrible early game, but when you’re 0/10 and the enemy jungles is playing mind games with you and your team, clearly fed, your team blames you for what feels like one of the most helpless situations
Whenever the whole team is losing everybody takes it as their chance to start flaming their jungler so they can take the attention of their own bad performance and preemptively make an excuse for themselves

as someone who used to absolutely LOVE this game and play it non-stop ----- this is a phenomenal vid, great form of teaching too I've been struggling getting back into it after like 3/4 years mostly because of the entirely new shop and all that crap do you have a vid on the shop by chance? I feel like that's a dumb question but I used to be able to build for every situation and even started coming up with my own favorite builds for specific people because they were just ABSURD when combined right and now I have absolutely NO idea what is going on lol I don't have time to read the shit because I'm trying to focus on the game but then I'm getting wrecked because I dont know what my items are doing or what THEIR items are doing so I can't just base it off skill because I'm not sure if its their build because I don't know it or if it's me that just needs to get readjusted again
I think it could work with kha'zix as well. Don't open any abilities at the beginning, go ward enemy red, wait in the bush south of it, if enemy jungler shows up wait until red buff is 400-500 hp, Open E, and then E-Smite red, upgrade Q then u have the unseen threat for the aa's and the q for the burst + electrocute. That should be enough to keep you alive until your E CD is up so u can E escape in herald's spawn and then go mid to enemy blue while using your refillable potions, then you have both Q and E ready, smite ready and hp plus level advantage over the enemy jungler... What do you guys think?

Is this Korean platinum or something? I have reached plat on EUW, EUNE and NA and NO plat player rotates with you for whatever reason... They will not miss their precious farm lead for your strat no matter how many times you ping them. If you want a real way to carry plat teammates... Play Farming Junglers.
As a jungler i use this strategy of invade and it has great success most of the times. I have 2 questions related to the exampled you showed: 1) It is working only if they dont have warded the bush you wait right? what are u doing if they see you with a ward or the midlaned is defending? 2) In the example enemy team was invading to your red because the had blitzcrank right? But they didnt invade finally.. why? Thank you, keep going :)
Play a farm jungle, get to lategame, 1v9. Early game junglers don't help much when your team doesn't know how to use their lead and even end up losing it.
Great content as always! Quick question. Even though he wasn't listed on the tier list. Could Pantheon JG be a good pick for pulling this off? I feel like he's invading potential and early damage is quite decent. you can just auto smite at the same time and its impossible to outsmite. Pantheon's level 1 isnt insane, but he has cc and solid burst. I'd say it works vs anyone but Nunu and Olaf. Remember that the strat depends a lot on your laner's champions as well. How well can they follow up your w cc? Do they have cc of their own lvl 1? How strong is their own level 1?
2 questions: Will this work with teemo jungle? Most often than not, when i go to ward enemy red, there is always the top or mid laner already there( this is low silver) do i just have to outplay them or what?
You would literally be in the middle of your second camp by the time he shows. Doing that you´d have stop the camp mid-clear. Go to his blue without beeing seen and hope he didn´t do red into back and blue. Sooooo Silver 5 highest peak? or what is it.
I did the same thing with the Olaf what he has done with the Graves and it worked really well. Then, I just gang to my mid lane and we have taken the flash of the mid lane gamer. Finally, I was dominating the game and I won it. Thank you :)
a) the smite damage should be visible in the skill icon anyway - if not, activate the display of mana costs b) careful with Graves AA damage, it depends on how many bullets hit the target (the closer you are the more likely it is that all bullets hit) c) where is Shaco in this tier list?
If you get your mid to come invade too it will be a 3v2. It doesn't really matters what champ you have here unless all 3 of you have garbage level 1s. Xin should probably be in a higher because of his level 2 spike. Although I agree this is situational; you need to have a stronger early top/mid to secure the buff but after that you won't lose the fight unless vs olaf.
I actually did this lvl 1 invade on enemy red 5 games in a row before watching this vid, 4 games were a stomp. I usually ganked top lvl 2 after, if not possible I just went my blue. Also bot warded my red, in 2 games we collapsed on enemy jungler coming for a steal, followed by multiple kills on their mid and bot who came to help. Really good tactic.
I am a Kindred one trick and I recommend for champions with a relatively weak early you have two options. I always look to invade the topside of the map. Your high mobility gives you really great chase and flee. If blue side: Take Red -> Blue -> Gromp -> Enemy Red, this requires some tracking but most people start bot side or are still in red jg. You win almost any 1v1 you initiate at 3 so long as E is used correctly. If red side: Go Red -> Enemy Blue -> Gromp (if you win 1v1 with power spike). This works for me 90% of the time where at the very least I triple buff the enemy.
You've already made a video about early invade waiting for you opponent to use his abilities and tank free hit from the buff. But you do add a value giving extra tips according to the meta and picks for this strategy! PS: btw you use to speak way more slowly, do you speed up your audio recording?
This works on low elo, high elo players would make better decisions, hence intercepting your actions. ex: high elo players would anticipate early invades and would sit in the brush waiting for you, or they can just place a ward and if they see you there, they would rotate to your buff and get a 1 for 1.

as high plat low diamond jger most problem is when ur mid laner don't wanna cooperate with u and just love farm and non of ur sterategy would work and all time u have a hard time as a jger:) thats hwy i recently change role and plying mid lane and tbh its mid laner who decide which team win not jger
7:00 I'm a bit confused here. Why not just go clear your Blue and then Red? You got to their Red very early and it's clear that no enemy was able to setup vision. Thus, the enemy jungler will probably walk to their Red. By that time, you'll have cleared the Blue side and you'd at worst match them at your Red (which should be favorable). They can't steal it unless you misplay. You can even drag it in the bush and watch to see them coming. If you're really worried, you can instead do their Red -> Blue -> your Red and there would be no time for an enemy contest. BTW: Doing their Red -> Your Red leaves Blue open. The transition gank mid gives the plan away and if the enemy jungler arrives at his Raptors, they can just continue to your Blue. It would be a big risk but it's not like you have a ward there.

Too situational, enemy jg has to start on Red, 90% don't start on top side, your mid and bot has to push and rotate before their lanes in Blue, most times they won't.
Even if they start blue side, you just take their red and then transition gank mid into protecting your own red, or what was outlined in the video, even invading on their wolves if you have enough prio and they full clear
kinda made me think what if i'm playing olaf jungle and i'm against a nunu jungle. Should I go with this? Finally decided that it will depend on whether what champions are my teammates using (like do they have nice early game or good cc at level 1) and whether they respond to me or nah but still, it made me wonder which of the two (nunu or olaf) would win in this strat
Just a question. Do you think this would be viable to do on farming champs like Kayn or Shyvana? I would assume since they both have really weak early game they would have to be low on the tier list but if you have a really strong side such as Darius I would assume this could work.

So I see a big problem with this guide.. As a laner, I automatically go to protect invades at level one, even if just by standing in a bush that I can see the buff from, or ward the pixel brush or the buff itself.. And I tend to do this ONCE the fountain opens.. In all of the scenarios you gave, you - the jungler - always arrived earlier than the other team.. So my question is, in the case that I find them there before me, should I just follow your strategy of staying if we're strong enough to take the level 1 fight? Or do you have another thought for this..

completely agree, in some cases enemy top laner would go to pixel bush, or ward the red bush and spot the invade, this is always what I'm afraid of when invading so a lot of times I only ward the enemy red and try to steal it after I get my blue
I do this as well as toplaner. I guess the answer for this strat is - just jump as 2 on anyone you meet, do some damage and fall back before enemy collapses onto you. With luck you'll get flash from them.

Yeah I was kinda like wtf... even in low elo the enemy team is in 9/10 games in the bush before me or my teammates. And in 8/10 games teammates wont follow so it is just super likely for me dying due to numbers disadvantage or me just running away with nothing because the enemy top laner is there and I am alone with no vision on the rest of the enemy team.
Just fight and be the skilled one. Show them who's the boss!

The only problem I see is if the enemy got there early, as a laner im almost always trying to ward the river bush immediately, so this spots the early invade.

I am guessing that everyone talking shit about their team is amazing challenger players if not for their team. I think they are the bad teammates who think, "I know I should help them, but nobody ever helps me in my games so I'm gonna just get toxic when they fail."
Nah, the matchmaking forces you a 50% winrate so you win for example 3 games but then soon lose guaranteed 3+ games after. The system dices you with 4 people who had losestreaks, already tilted people who troll out of desperation. If you have good mmr then it doesnt mean you get the same in your team, its the opposite. They want you to carry a game with for example silver mates against gold enemies. Cant carry 4vs5 cause your mates are afk or trolling? Casino-system go next and pray that you dont get ever again.

So many things to line up for this to be successful. Enemies not checking bushes, starting at that side of the map, your laners agreeing to help and rotate, and your far (bot in this case) lane won't be 0/5 at 3 minutes.
This strategy adapts on the current meta play which is place your trinket ward on the top side of the map, recall, take sweaper and go for your botside leash.
Since you are already on the topside of the map you can look for a good opportunity to steal your opponents buff and even kill him which will give you a huge lead which needs to be followed up correctly to give you an actual advantage as you show in this video

It’s often enough that I don’t think it’s worth risking your game so early. Really you just need to make sure your top comes with you or you shouldn’t do it as you might have a 1v2 or worse. I find more consistent and self reliant success with taking your bot side buff straight into your topside buff, then go to their red and drop a ward on it over the wall. If they are fighting it you get ready to steal it and kill them. If not you can take some or all of their Krugs while you wait for them to show on the ward. There are a few variations when you get good at it and tracking and predicting your enemy jg. But this way you wait til all the laners are busy and you don’t have to rely on your team being good and showing up and theirs being bad and not showing up. I find I still have early aggression but it’s safer and more reliable. I’m in bronze.

I don't jungle, but I tried out trundle 3 times in draft. I tried this and it works for the most part. I am a bit iffy though due to the matchups. Only real jg I faced was Yi.

I gotta say, having this done to you is one of the lowest feelings in league. Yeah, you get a terrible early game, but when you’re 0/10 and the enemy jungles is playing mind games with you and your team, clearly fed, your team blames you for what feels like one of the most helpless situations
Whenever the whole team is losing everybody takes it as their chance to start flaming their jungler so they can take the attention of their own bad performance and preemptively make an excuse for themselves

I think it could work with kha'zix as well. Don't open any abilities at the beginning, go ward enemy red, wait in the bush south of it, if enemy jungler shows up wait until red buff is 400-500 hp, Open E, and then E-Smite red, upgrade Q then u have the unseen threat for the aa's and the q for the burst + electrocute. That should be enough to keep you alive until your E CD is up so u can E escape in herald's spawn and then go mid to enemy blue while using your refillable potions, then you have both Q and E ready, smite ready and hp plus level advantage over the enemy jungler...

As a jungler i use this strategy of invade and it has great success most of the times. I have 2 questions related to the exampled you showed: 1) It is working only if they dont have warded the bush you wait right? what are u doing if they see you with a ward or the midlaned is defending? 2) In the example enemy team was invading to your red because the had blitzcrank right? But they didnt invade finally.. why?

Play a farm jungle, get to lategame, 1v9. Early game junglers don't help much when your team doesn't know how to use their lead and even end up losing it.

The only downside would be not having a powerful Ability + Smite (Since the logic skill level 1 would be W with conqueror to stack it ASAP).

you can just auto smite at the same time and its impossible to outsmite.
Pantheon's level 1 isnt insane, but he has cc and solid burst. I'd say it works vs anyone but Nunu and Olaf. Remember that the strat depends a lot on your laner's champions as well. How well can they follow up your w cc? Do they have cc of their own lvl 1? How strong is their own level 1?

Doing that you´d have stop the camp mid-clear. Go to his blue without beeing seen and hope he didn´t do red into back and blue. Sooooo Silver 5 highest peak? or what is it.
I did the same thing with the Olaf what he has done with the Graves and it worked really well. Then, I just gang to my mid lane and we have taken the flash of the mid lane gamer. Finally, I was dominating the game and I won it. Thank you :)

a) the smite damage should be visible in the skill icon anyway - if not, activate the display of mana costs
b) careful with Graves AA damage, it depends on how many bullets hit the target (the closer you are the more likely it is that all bullets hit)
c) where is Shaco in this tier list?

If you get your mid to come invade too it will be a 3v2. It doesn't really matters what champ you have here unless all 3 of you have garbage level 1s.
Xin should probably be in a higher because of his level 2 spike. Although I agree this is situational; you need to have a stronger early top/mid to secure the buff but after that you won't lose the fight unless vs olaf.

I did this on every single game up to dia V with Shaco. Back when you could stack boxes and abuse ignite or exhaust this was the shit.
Also the smite damage is on top of your champion hud as well
I actually did this lvl 1 invade on enemy red 5 games in a row before watching this vid, 4 games were a stomp.
I usually ganked top lvl 2 after, if not possible I just went my blue.
Also bot warded my red, in 2 games we collapsed on enemy jungler coming for a steal, followed by multiple kills on their mid and bot who came to help.
Really good tactic.

I am a Kindred one trick and I recommend for champions with a relatively weak early you have two options. I always look to invade the topside of the map. Your high mobility gives you really great chase and flee. If blue side: Take Red -> Blue -> Gromp -> Enemy Red, this requires some tracking but most people start bot side or are still in red jg. You win almost any 1v1 you initiate at 3 so long as E is used correctly. If red side: Go Red -> Enemy Blue -> Gromp (if you win 1v1 with power spike). This works for me 90% of the time where at the very least I triple buff the enemy.
I went from Silver 4 to Platinum 3 because of your strategy. Very effective. I even became OTP Olaf

This works on low elo, high elo players would make better decisions, hence intercepting your actions. ex: high elo players would anticipate early invades and would sit in the brush waiting for you, or they can just place a ward and if they see you there, they would rotate to your buff and get a 1 for 1.

as high plat low diamond jger most problem is when ur mid laner don't wanna cooperate with u and just love farm and non of ur sterategy would work and all time u have a hard time as a jger:) thats hwy i recently change role and plying mid lane and tbh its mid laner who decide which team win not jger
7:00 I'm a bit confused here. Why not just go clear your Blue and then Red? You got to their Red very early and it's clear that no enemy was able to setup vision. Thus, the enemy jungler will probably walk to their Red. By that time, you'll have cleared the Blue side and you'd at worst match them at your Red (which should be favorable). They can't steal it unless you misplay. You can even drag it in the bush and watch to see them coming. If you're really worried, you can instead do their Red -> Blue -> your Red and there would be no time for an enemy contest.
BTW: Doing their Red -> Your Red leaves Blue open. The transition gank mid gives the plan away and if the enemy jungler arrives at his Raptors, they can just continue to your Blue. It would be a big risk but it's not like you have a ward there.

Too situational, enemy jg has to start on Red, 90% don't start on top side, your mid and bot has to push and rotate before their lanes in Blue, most times they won't.
Even if they start blue side, you just take their red and then transition gank mid into protecting your own red, or what was outlined in the video, even invading on their wolves if you have enough prio and they full clear
kinda made me think what if i'm playing olaf jungle and i'm against a nunu jungle. Should I go with this? Finally decided that it will depend on whether what champions are my teammates using (like do they have nice early game or good cc at level 1) and whether they respond to me or nah
but still, it made me wonder which of the two (nunu or olaf) would win in this strat
Just a question. Do you think this would be viable to do on farming champs like Kayn or Shyvana? I would assume since they both have really weak early game they would have to be low on the tier list but if you have a really strong side such as Darius I would assume this could work.
