@@mattcombe5430 The builder (Internat'l Marine) recommends the short shaft in their owners manual. It extends the perfect depth below the bottom of the boat, from the factory installed fixed mount.
How did you mount your oars. Is that an after market product you installed or did you build it yourself? I am attempting a similar set up and could really use some advice....
You're not alone, but I've never given measurements because there is no definitive reference point to measure from, everything is rounded. The oar side-sockets were mounted by the manufacturer, but are not found on the older models. Sit in the cockpit in front of the hatch and estimate the best place to mount the sockets. The 3 reasons to have a WWP15 instead of others: Trailerable, Beachable (flat bottom), and Rowable.
