Beautiful boat and well setup. I spent the last few days reading up on the west wight potter and I think it's the perfect boat. Unique lines and enough cabin for some adventure. Safe travels, hoping to do something similar one day
I'm older now and have a 40' blue-water sailboat but miss the fun that I had in my 17' trailer sailboat years ago. That was nothing but fun and probably the least amount of money spent for the most amount of fun.
This is what I was hoping for when I saw your trip video. Great upgrades to the Potter. Especially like the trolling motor plug as it lets you keep battery weight forward but stil power the trolling motor at the stern.
Yea that was the original plan we got moved to lake wallenpaupack last minute due to bad weather at the Chesapeake. But I plan to do a trip to tangier island this year
@@basshookers8397 that's a beautiful area of the Bay for sure. I'm just South of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on the Easternshore side. I can give you some amazing destinations if you want to explore the Middle Bay regions

Did you add the hinged mast step? I have a 97 potter that doesn’t have that, thought of updating it
