Yo fishing freaks, I was able to catch a couple blues at my favorite cat spot. What I didn’t expect was to see a trophy fish in bad shape. Overall I had a good two days of fishing. That happened in San Angelo last spring-tons of big cats dying off. Fisheries said it’s a common thing for an illness to wipe out large cats every now and then. To me, it was alarming because at each of my spots there were five or six giant dead ones washed up.
That is sad, I fished that spot in the video like 3 days in a row and on the 3rd day I saw that flathead floating. Idk what happened but I was on a mission to catch that fish at that place. Heard stories about it but I knew the Legend was over when I saw it.

are you using the 9 foot 2 piece 6000 penn fierce 3 LL combo? im trying to decide if i want the 1 or 2 piece. im always nervous that 2 piece rods will slide apart
All I have are two pieces, my pen rods have never came apart during a cast or anything. The shafts are pretty long. Yes I’m using the F3 combos.
