I believe it’s a full exhaust system. I’m not too familiar with the details but if you look up the system online where you can buy it on bmwusa.com. The should have the details there!
@@BeamerView yup I figured that out last night at an undisclosed location! 🤣 I just got it a week ago. I wasn’t holding down the accelerator all the way. Now I know why they have that little button at the end of the travel!
Could be that yours is a RWD model. I've never tried it in that. A couple things you could try that might assist with it is making sure you have a good quality sticky tires and temperature outside along with the tire itself is up to proper temperature.
@@BezmenovDisciple haha I can imagine. M340i has a LOT of power for the vehicle that it is. Another thing you could consider is getting wider tires for the back. I will say RWD is great for those drifting situations =)
@@BeamerView Lol I’m more of a straight line speed guy so I think next time I’m gonna opt for the AWD. I don’t think I have the talent to do this in a RWD car. Haha!
With RWD and all season tires there’s no point in even having launch control. It just lights up the tires… but then again I’m not trying to race anyone so… yeehaw and woohoo!
@@BeamerView but there RWD I was looking for AWD manual … is it true that you don’t have launch control on a manual ? I was told by a guy at dealership
It can get a little tricky. It may not be the case but I did want to mention some BMWs have a 50 launch limit. Typically turning off the tracking, putting it in sport, and mashing the brake and gas HARD does the trick.
Lmao. A BMW loves to drive hard and fast. Why would the manufacturer add something that is harmful for the car? BMW is begging you to drive it the way you should

that wood trim inside looks nice

Just learned mine on my Xdrive M340i
wow
Haha, feels out of this world right? haha.
Hi man. Amazing video. I tried this on my m340i 2023 LCI model and it didn’t work well. Can you make a video on that model?
This was done in a 2022 m340i, it should work the same way. I do know you have to push hard on the brake and gas in order to get it to work.
I would assume we have to wait until our vehicles have gone through the break in period?
It's recommended from what i've heard. Usually takes about 1200 miles
when you are in that m/s mode, did you need to manually upshift or would it do that automatically at redline?
It will automatically do it for you and prevent you from hurting the engine.
Do I need to M/S mode? Or I can use auto D with sport plus? Thank you, always love to watch your videos
You can be in D and still go into sport plus, you do not need to be in M/S Mode.
Is launch control only available if the car has sport + mode? My 2023 430 convertible does not appear to have sport +. Thanks!
It should work for vehicles without sport+ I've seen regular 3 series vehicles accomplish this.
M performance exhaust contains only from the rear muffler?
I believe it’s a full exhaust system. I’m not too familiar with the details but if you look up the system online where you can buy it on bmwusa.com. The should have the details there!
How many launch controls can you make? Is it safe?
50 Launches Max I believe. It's safe but I would do it only ever so often, and after the vehicle is fulled warmed up.
which year is this? I have a 21 looking for the mpe
This one’s a 2022 I believe. I would look on shopbmws website.
Does the launch control work when the dsc is all the way off?
I believe so, it is advised to just press it once however.
@@BeamerView yup I figured that out last night at an undisclosed location! 🤣 I just got it a week ago. I wasn’t holding down the accelerator all the way. Now I know why they have that little button at the end of the travel!
Tiene un límite de poner aser el lanzamiento o puedes aserlo las vesese que quieras ??
They say you have a limit of 50 launches, after that it will not work. Use them wisely!

How much he and how fast to 0 to 60
That first launch through the trees we hit 100mph. To 60 this vehicle is around 3.7 on the faster side.
