There’s a detail I won’t forget for a long time…crazy how good it turned out!! Hit that thumbs up button if you enjoyed seeing the owner’s reaction on this one! Have a great weekend guys!
Idk if you’ve answered this in one of your vids. But I’m curious about your method… is it better/easier/preferred to clean the outside before the inside? Thanks again for all you do. I always love getting home from the night shift and passing out to your details. Happy Aloha Friday! 🤙🏽❤️💛💚🤙🏽
I would have thought at least fill a bin bag with the rubbish and throw a bucket of water over the back windscreen so you can see out to drive it there.
Same. As a kid we drove in a fairly big suburban for the 3 of us kids (my younger sisters weren't born yet) and it would NEVER get this bad. Sure it would get dirty but since my mother has been a housekeeper basically my entire life at 22 years old, she kept EVERYTHING clean no matter how many people were there or using it. And she still does.
We had 3 kids. After each long trip I'd spend 5 minutes tops getting the rubbish out. Maybe a vacuum and wash every 3 months. I guess some people live busier lives than I do!
Definitely mental illness not "four kids" or "laziness". I have three kids and there's times things get messy ( not really dirty ) but never anywhere close to this. Glad you were able to help her. Hopefully whatever she is going through she wins the battle. It seems like asking you to clean the car was the first step of her noticing that something was wrong.
Sorry 500 years of attempted genocide is not going away in a blink of an eye. Material thing are as important to natives as they are to you. We love our kids not our material items. Get over yourself 🙄
I hope more people see and understand your comment before criticizing too harshly. I know it’s a shocking car, but this is one example of what illness can look like.
I'm curious how you know this. Unless of course you deliver their cleaned car to their house, and go in their homes to get your pay. Perhaps you're their therapist too.
Well as a matter of fact, I DID deliver people’s cars to their houses and saw those houses. It WAS a comparison that I made. Many times I never saw the houses, but did see quite a few as well. When delivering a car, I looked for an indication as to what I was walking in to. This is my opinion, if others saw it differently, please advise.
@@YourHeartsDesires You're totally right. How could their car possibly be a reflection on other aspects of their life. Surly their house is spic and span.
I’m a 58 year old woman and I have NEVER had tampons (used or new) free ranging in my vehicle! I’ll admit to having a zippered storage bag with supplies in the storage area just in case I or someone with me needed something but not just hanging out!
I may have had new ones in the wrapper but NEVER used ones. How does that even happen. Do they change them in the car? And if so...why not throw them away?!?
This boggles my mind! Even if someone had left used tampons in their vehicle... who would KNOWINGLY leave them there when they were dropping off their vehicle for detailing???? Poor Mitch!
I feel like when people's homes or cars get this bad, it's not because they're lazy anymore. It's more often than not because they have something else going on in their life like severe depression. Good for this person for taking that first step and getting it cleaned up and taken care of. It's embarrassing to ask for help when things get this bad. So good job!!
I was thinking of that too, i was wondering the whole video if the parents has some kind of mental health problems for their cars to get that dirty. If they do, its good that they are getting it sorted out, its a step forward to getting better.
Also, once it starts to get this bad, anxiety can keep you from fixing it because working on solving it reminds you of the problem in the first places and stresses you out really bad.
Honestly having mental illness and also working a job that does deep cleans, 8/10 times the person is just lazy and/or also teaches their kids to be lazy.
Also, if your anxiety or depression has crippled your function to that level or beyond you need intensive help not a car detail or home clean.. those things should be on the list but farther down on it.
Who leaves USED tampons in their car?! I'm surprised they don't have a quick wiz around to pick up all the rubbish before they give their car over to you tbh 🤔 You did an amazing job!
That's what I was thinking. I was like there is a trashcan in most restrooms wtf but also you have kids? biohazard? idk gross I can't imagine what their house looks like and I hope they are investigated lowkey cause no kid should be in that much of filth.
As an engineer, we say "anything worth doing is worth doing poorly"; look at how the first 90% of improvement is in the first 10% of effort. Tiny changes in our lives have huge benefits.
If you mean the spraying water around the outside of the car - yep, that is what I thought straight away. How long does it take to get out a hose and spray the outside of the car clean - at least mainly clean? These people, unbelievable..
@@dee-smart Or even a simple drive through car wash, can't even make the argument of "but it damages the paint" because if the alternative is this then they'd be better off with a periodic car wash. At a minimum it provides a bit more pride in the vehicle and people are more likely to keep the interior clean. Also I think the first major hint into the owners of the vehicle is that they took their car to get detailed and even left their drinks in the cupholders still, self cleaning isn't even a thought
@@hiRyan329329 Agree with you. They are lazy pigs. I can't recall this show particularly but was this the one the lady kept a dirty female hygiene product in the interior to be picked up? It grosses me out that they don't even think about the poor person cleaning their dirty vehicles and check what can easily be thrown out before they leave it. You are right - it is ridiculous that they are prepared to pay massive amounts to have their car detailed, possibly because they are going to sell it, but they couldn't spend 5 minutes taking a few of the large things and that drink out. Ludicrous. Maybe they don't intend to sell it, so why spend that much money. He charges a lot - just can't recall what it is, but thinking well over a $1000 for that and how much is a car wash in comparison, and getting out a hand held vac and doing a general clean yourself? Bit of a savings there.
@dee-smart They probably hit that mental break point with how dirty it was and just HAD to get it clean (or outside factor like family visiting). Judging by the paint swirls it does look like they at least occasionally wash the outside of their car at a drive through at least, and for how caked up it was a lot of people think it was staged but it looks very typical for a daily gravel drive (talking those multi mile out of town ones) during snow season, the combo of those two can get your car looking like that in a couple weeks
As the oldest of 10 children (yes I said that right) our family van has NEVER looked close to this dirty. Discipline and cleanliness is important for kids to experience and learn. But you actually did a amazing job cleaning it ❤️👍
I wanted to comment that I'm one of 5 kids and our car NEVER EVER looked like that. How can she let her kids treat the car like a dumpster and drive her family around inside that thing is crazy to meb
I'm the youngest of 4 and my parents did let the car get that nasty. When I took over cleaning mom's house after she couldn't anymore, I began including the car in my rounds of cleaning. If I had my own car, there would be no smoking or eating in it, while drink containers must have lids. This from a smoker. I think their car alone left me with a complex.
@JDawnchild glad you were able to break the cycle and bounce back from that. I know a lot of people who grew up in and then continued the same cycle for themselves and their families
Seriously. We’re 4 aswell and our parents always told us to take the trash with us when we left the car, every time we stopped at a gas station our dad collected our trash to throw away. 9 times out of 10 youre going to be in close proximity to a trash can when you leave your car. I’ll never understand people like this.
I'm a mom of four also, but my kids understand their expectations of respecting my car. That's wild. Love your videos. I detail my own fairly often since watching these and its my relaxing / satisfying time.
I have four kids, too. And my car gets easily messy and cluttered, but we (me) clean it out every week, and wash the exterior at least once a month. It would benefit from more, but life is full. Her situation seems more extreme, which makes me think there is a lot more going on in her life where she needs more help. Glad he was able to help her.
Yeah this really reminded me of depression nests, hopefully this huge detail is the push she needs to keep her car clean, sometimes with depression nests that's all you need
I seriously think this lady has some very deep depression issues going on. I hope she gets the help she needs. I detail my own car and the odd one for friends every now and then. Cleaning is very therapeutic and can bring about a deep change for people. It's amazing when you see the results of your hard work. You tend to lose your stresses when your totally focused.
Coming from a detailer I personally find it refreshing to clean a car like this it helps keep things interesting and it’s way more satisfying to see the end result than a car that’s not as dirty
I’m sorry kids or no kids, that was just gross. To be honest I’d be SO embarrassed to have anyone detail my car, and there is NO WAY I’d drive around in it! You are the best at what you do and I enjoy your videos
@Crazy creeper sisters * there is no excuse for this. No matter how busy your life is and how messy your children could be, this is just gross... Kids can be raised to not make a mess like that, and it doesn't take that much time to clean your car every two months or so.
Growing up I was confused periodically about my mom having us kids clean her car. As an adult I realized she was making us clean up the massive mess we kids created in her car 😂
@tootynuggetsyou seem like an awesome parent… and I hate saying that purely based in the fact you’re teaching your child clean, healthy habits in a fun way
I was always taught to "clean house before the maid comes". I would be mortified if I even thought about bringing you a car like this! As always, great video!!
@@conleykat exactly. My daughters like to leave on the car a blanket for long trips and their neck pillows, but that's about the only thing we leave in there. They are not allowed to eat on the car, if they have muddy shoes they remove them when they are inside. But if there's any case where they want a snack first thing we do when we park is everyone take out their trash. period. Is less than seconds that it takes to do that, no excuses really. If I take our car to the car wash we remove everything before leaving it there.
"I have 4 kids" is no excuse for that mess. If I did that to my Moms car, she would have left me on the side of the road. Then again, I would never dream of doing that to my Moms car. The words "respect'" and "discipline" come to mind. Without discipline don't expect any respect. This woman is actually going to show her face after this?
It looks like she gave her 3 year old play dough and did not have the tools to get it out of the carpet, or maybe she does not know how to operate them. He has a really good kit, and that goes a long way with stains. Floor mats are a must in Canada. FYI a screaming small child in the back of the car is super dangerous, she may have used the play dough/snacks to avoid an accident. You can't exactly "turn off" a crying child. I don't know any mother that would abandon their preschooler to avoid a mess. Very, very kind of Detail Geek to take this on. He did an amazing job.
I just left a comment saying that I hate that excuse "I have kids". That doesn't mean you can't vacuum your vehicle. You have kids and you vacuum your house, right? 😆
@@corpse2944 bro not everything can be cleaned by a vacuum go try vacuuming gum of off your carpet see how far you get but yeah it would not be nearly as bad if she had just vacuumed the car every once in a while
OK, you give your to detailer to have him/her to clean it. But at least you can remove most of the trash out of the car before handing it over to the detailer. I would be embarrassed to have an other clean my 'dumbster'. And what about no floormats? Those don't cost a fortune...
I’ve got a small detail business and find it amusing when I tell some customers that’s their vehicle will take two days to complete, and they are surprised. Anyone can hose off a car and hit the interior with a vacuum and a rag drenched in ArmorAll and call it “clean”, but a detail is exactly what it is. The attention to detail. Keep up the fantastic content.
Not every detail needs to be to the extent where you pull out the seats and pillar covers and center console, etc. If it comes in and it looks like a hoarder's house, then yeah that's probably a two day job. But the vast majority of detail work is people with nice well kept cars that have more money than time and would rather have somebody else clean them. Those jobs shouldn't be taking you more than four hours, even if you're taking them to show ready condition.
I’ve struggled with mental health in the past and my car could get pretty bad. I’m grateful I was able to realize it before it ever got like this car. I’m also lucky to have had people in my life that would help me clean it when needed. Praying for her and her family because there is way more going on than just a dirty car ❤
One step at a time. Maybe wipe down interior one day. Dust & use furniture polish another. And vacuum last. I'm a senior & I still do my car. Go to a self serve car wash. No clean up, everything available. It IS therapeutic & self gratifying everytime u get in your car.😉🖖👍
@@riceburner4747 I totally agree that is feels great when you stay on top of things. Since my mental health has been way better, it stays mostly clean. Still have a random week when it gets a bit out of hand. But I do that same thing by going to a self serving car wash. It’s helped so much!
Huge transformation. Nice job. Questions about the interior: By soaking the seats, is there any risk of moisture getting down into the foam and causing mold down the line? Do you have to leave them out in the sun for a while? And on the door panels, is there any risk of the spray/steam damaging the speakers?
I still shake my head realizing that someone else’s disaster vehicle has become my Friday entertainment. So glad I took a chance on clicking on the auto detailer with a few subscribers, you’ve grown in so many ways. Keep doing these great videos Mitch and thanks!
If parents don't teach their children to appreciate and care for the things they have, how will the children learn? Children are messy, but they can learn to clean up after themselves. Great job as always. Thanks for sharing.
What I don't get is it takes all of a few minutes to spray it down with a water hose, which would instantly resolve it looking like it lives a desert. Not even the bare minimum effort spent to clean it ever.
My thoughts exactly. Kids who grow up like this are going to have some shocking experiences at the workplace and in relationships. „What? Why do you take offense at me leaving my shit everywhere and expecting OTHERS to clean up after me? I don’t get it! Does not compute! 🤷🏼♂️😵💫🥴“ Really unfortunate.
As I told kazukihashimoto183 , you're being generous...I'd say within a week at the most. Even if she is having mental problems as evidenced by the used tampons, her husband must also be a real filthy slob just to let that car get into that condition.
@@ashwin.unlead, nope! It is a 2010 and looks almost as new. It gets washed regularly and garage kept as well as regular oil changes. I believe if you don't take care of what you have it won't be able to take care of you when you need it.
I actually one this type of Kia. It's almost 7 years old now and never had any issues with it. Imo, it's a very good car and it was very well priced. I also have 2 kids, things sometimes get out of hand, but it's never been this bad. The worst was before installing the dog-mat on the back seat for the rear-facing child seats. And that was because although I used a plastic cover for the back rest the dirt on their feet would fall down to the seat. The dog-mat actually covers both and it's also easier to vacuum. And mind you that with the busy schedule I'd wash the exterior when really dirty (but not like that) and the interior gets done at most 4 times a year. But my kids know to be careful with the car and I try my best to clean it up whenever possible. I really love this car and how comfortable it is ❤
It baffles me that she hasn’t received a ticket or multiple for not having a visible license plate, break lights or practically any visibility for that matter. That is a literal road hazard to have your car that dirty 😅 I do landscaping and my work truck doesn’t even get that dirty
It blows my mind people 1) allow their kids to treat their cars like a dumper 2) not do anything to change that behavior 3) drive around in a literal biohazard 4) use kids as an excuse for not cleaning anything. The nastiest part is the fact he found used tampons. USED!! That is absolutely bottom barrel foul. I would have worn a respirator and face shield working on that car. This man is a wizard. Plain and simple. Kudos to you, sir for taking on this project.
You’re right people never change. 1.Like when your people sent our parents and grandparents to boarding schools to be rapped, beaten, and killed! We have to re-teach our children with out beating them. 2 Pretty sure your not a single mom either! And had a silver spoon in your mouth since the day you where born. 3 easy to judge others when you have never been in their shoes. 4 who are you to judge? 5 karma
I've been detailing vehicles for over 20 years now. I'm impressed by your garage, more than anything. It's very satisfying watching someone else putting that level of work into "polishing a turd". Most of us detailers will admit that's what we're thinking while we detail most vehicles. LOL
What an amazing job, it’s so satisfying to watch. Well done! I see many people commenting about this family being lazy and talking about neglect etc, but seeing a car like this really makes me question people’s mental health and well being in general. I don’t believe that perfectly sane and healthy people let themselves and their surroundings deteriorate like this. Be thoughtful, people. This woman might be fighting battles you could never imagine.
I think it's so funny no one is saying anything about the man in the recent Jeep video but everyone is being cruel to this women for having a dirty car like she killed their dog, and slept with their Dad. The nerve of this harpy to have a filthy car, nevermind if she has a busy life and three children-
I'm glad you explained how the back of the car got caked in dirt, where I live there's not a lot of gravel roads so I had no idea how the dirt got on specifically the back of the car.
Bullshit. I’ve dealt with depression since the 7th grade. I never let my car, room nor house get this dirty. Obviously there’s different levels of depression but people really gotta stop using it as an excuse to live like they do. At this point, it’s just plain laziness.
@@bly7181 Where, in either the OP's or my comment was the word "depression" used? I'll wait. BTW, the world doesn't revolve around you or your afflictions.
@@TheTransporter007 I was referring to a lot of the comments under this video. Idc what you have going on with your life, depression, stress, work, family, etc. It doesn’t hurt to take 5-10 minutes of your day to pick up some trash out of your car. It’s really that simple.
I always wonder how many of these vehicles go back to looking filthy again. I mean if the customer had there car looking that bad it must be there habits and probably just end up as bad again in a couple months. You do such amazing work to these cars. I love watching these videos. Keep up the great work 👍
Depends how many owners felt ashamed to have let their car turn like total garbage and realized that they can't let it happen again. Nothing better than entering in your car and breath fresh and clean air in it.
First of all great job on this rolling dumpster!! I never try to judge others but let's face it! These folks are just plain disgusting!! Who could honestly let their car get this bad? Can you imagine what their house looks like? My guess is in 2 weeks it'll be trashed again. They need an intervention!!
This mess does not have an excuse and I don't care in how hard of a situation someone can be, they don't have to treat their car like a trash can. How can someone sit inside of a car like this and not throw up? I mean I know that there are people who are (the opposite of materialistic) but there is a line that you just don't cross.
I love that he did a guitar solo at the end 🤍 It feels to me like that is another passion of his. Like the car detailing. His patience with car detailing says to me like he must have passion for it too.
tampons are very handy to keep everywhere. most women carry tampons and/or pads in their purses. tbh, i would've been pissed if i found out that this dude just threw away five perfectly good tampons, considering how expensive they are.
How do they not have floor mats for this car?!?! Even cheap ones would help keep the carpet cleaner. It is an amazing job you did with this disaster, Mitch. Thanks for another entertaining episode.
Thinking its a lease vehicle, and they can't turn it in in that despicable condition. And wouldn't spend a hundred bucks for floor mats on a lease. Anyone want to guess if its had an oil change???
I lost one floor mat (I took it out to clean the car and it disappeared...somehow...it's a mystery) and never got around to buying a new set. It was just one more thing on my to-do list. However, I cleaned out the garbage after every trip, rarely let the kids eat in the car, and gave them a backpack of toys and books to play with while I was driving, so it rarely got super dirty.
They know that in a week it's gonna look like it never got cleaned b cause they really don't care about their stuff that much. I'm sure their home is probably a nightmare as well. They make zero effort to maintain or clean anything and just tell everyone "we have kids" as if having kids eliminated any responsibility of caring for your possessions
Loving the new format, Mitch! As someone with ADHD who has an attention span of only about 5 minutes, content creators who just get straight into the action without talking too much are really good for me.
I like to watch cleaning videos on here to get motivation to clean my house and car and your videos are literally perfect 😭 You get down to ever last detail and it really helps me get into that cleaning mood so I can do the same
the amount of hardwork, patience, and dedication you put into transforming the family’s car is insane! Inspires me in a lot of way, i hope you’re doing well Geek! God bless you
Not going to pretend I know how this car got this dirty or how it was allowed, but hopefully, your detailing made an impact and gave them the foundation to keep it clean going forward. Well done!
So I have depression and anxiety, and sometimes my car gets to looking pretty bad... ill take it to get detailed and them try to upkeep it for a while so it doesn't get as gross for a while. Easy when I keep a trash bag in the car and try to vacuum it out every few months. Still sometimes depression takes over and I just cant make myself keep it clean but when I finally get out of it I go get it detailed again.
@@RockPrincess21268 I think the comment section of such videos is quick to judge but doesn't acknowledge that mental illness is usually the driving force behind cars or livign spaces getting in such a desperate state. My guess is that the state of the car is one of the owner's least problems.
@@RockPrincess21268 Why don't you clean it when you get out of it? Even worse is people using excuses like mental ones when they are just lazy, even worse, why does it even get so dirty? I drive my cars from one place to the other, i don't cook and do daily chores in them
So I detail things at work just because I'm quite good at it and being only 17 and working at a smallish company that hauls rock and mulch and stuff like that with dump trucks and load people's personal vehicles with the like for their own personal projects, I can't do deliveries so I stay in the shop doing maintenance and cleaning everything. I detail my bosses' personal vehicles and I clean the office and all that fun stuff and let me tell you this, the amount of dirt and dust that can accumulate inside the cab of those dump trucks is quite something. From a part time detailer to a detailing master, I'm really happy to see that people take their time to get all the dirt and stuff off of the outside between the panels and out of the inside. This was truly pleasing to witness the dedication. Great job sir.
I'd love to see a series where the customer brings their vehicle back a month or so later and see if theyve kept the car clean the best they can or if theyve trashed it again
Guaranteed she trashes it again within 3 months because 1. She does not care, and 2. She didn't have to do any of the work to clean it. Clearly neither her nor her kids respects their things.
I’m a mom of two special needs kids and considered my minivan trashed after a road trip with just them and me (dad had to work). I wasn’t 1/2 this bad but I still detailed it as soon as I could. Of course, my son just threw cheerios and goldfish in it like they were confetti yesterday so I’ll be back out there later today to tidy. It takes a few minutes when you get out to pick up any trashes and toss them on your way in the house. Boom. Done.
I think that's the secret, spend a couple minutes when you get home, if you don't wanna spend hundreds paying someone to do it for you every now and then.
Must be nice to have someone help by working and paying the bills. Instead of being a single parent that barely has enough time to get dinner on the table after a long day of work.
@@dariceheredia7078we both work and I was just in nursing school. Neither of us has a ton of time. That’s why we try to do things like take trash in with us every time we get out. If you don’t have time or help you have to build your routines to be more helpful and productive. Otherwise you drown.
I worked as a detailer for about 9 years and the absolute filthiest cars were the soccer mom Honda Odyssey vans, they'd come in looking like the kids had food fights in the back. This car came in shining compared to some of the ones I've done. Also had a guy come in with blood and guts all on the front of his Jeep from hitting a deer, I can still smell the smell of his car rolling in the shop 🤮
I remember getting into my cousins car and gross out how dirty it was with kids dried commit at the back seat and I asked her why she can’t bring it to a detailer shop to get it cleaned and I can’t believe what answered she gave me, she said, “oh what for, it’s gonna get dirty again anyways”. So I said to her, ah just like going to toilet, why wipe your ass if you’re going to poop the next day again anyways right”?! I think after what I said she got her car cleaned. Lol
The sad part about this is you did such an amazing job but I guarantee you she will have to keep coming back every couple of months to redo the same job again because of the way her kids trashed the car and sadly the mom doesn’t seem to care enough until it results to looking this bad. Job well done mate! Love this transformation 🤗
She said it herself, ”my kids are allowed in here again”. If theyre allowed in the car (I’d put them on the bus personally), maybe dont give them any candy or food in there.
So many questions. I wonder what thr house looks like? And sad to say, that amazing job he just did, won't last. What an amazing transformation tho. You are incredible ❤️
You ARE the best out there! Not only for your attention to detail but for a strong stomach when you work on gross cars and to spend 15 hrs restoring a car to showroom glory! Absolutely phenomenal clean! Cheers 🎉
In my opinion this is lazy parents, it’s easier to let the kids, and adults, throw it down then throw it away. And how the heck do you get a ‘used’ tampon in the car 😳, were they keeping it for a souvenir? That is the most disgusting thing I ever seen!
I just had my PT derailed and I made sure to remove EVERYTHING from it before delivery and as my husband was apologizing for how dirty it was I was telling the man that it wasn’t bad inside at all for a 18 year old car with a little bit of dog hair. The outside had some tree sap and hadn’t been cleaned for about a year other than rain and running it through a car wash. The guy did a beautiful job and we tipped him $100 cause he didn’t charge enough for the incredible work. Thanks for your channel as it helped me be brave enough to insist that I get my car detailed. Next I’m getting some minor repairs and body work done because I’m keeping the car forever.
What a transformation. I don’t think I could ever turn my car over to anyone to clean without taking the majority of crap out of it not that I let my car get that bad even with 2 dogs. Amazing job.
The owner was most probably battling (sorry i dont know the spelling) with mental illness and getting the car cleaned was probably the start of her mental health getting better. Plz dont take my comment as a rude one. 😊
I agree. But also if I'm gonna pay what I'm sure he charges I don't know if I'm taking the time to touch anything. Lol. But I also wouldn't let mine get to that point
You are overly kind. Maturity may help you understand that most people like this just are and don’t change or even see how bad this situation seems to other people.
Using 5-10minutes wouldn't hurt to pick up and clean obvious garbage and filth everytime they use the car or after every trip. I understand if they can't clean the ones under the seats, but the seats itself come on now it's the most obvious one to see if it's filthy or clean
Great transformation. The Johnny B. Goode solo at the end was the icing on the cake for me since it reminds me of my favorite movie Back To The Future. Great Job Brother!
I had a boss once, who measured people on how they and their car looked. If you took care of your car, and you and your car looked clean and tidy when you came to the job interview, that was a very important factor. As he said. If you have room to do something about yourself and your surroundings, then you probably take the same care to your job and colleagues. That actually has stuck with me to this day.
Wow! What a transformation from what was to what is. For me, when I opened that door to the interior I would have run to put on a complete body suit and respirator. Your work is truly amazing! Totally agree with some other comments that there is no excuse for allowing an interior to get to that point. Thanks for taking me on this journey with you.
How much do you charge for something like this? 15 hours? WOW. Amazing transformation in the end. Seeing the gum from the backseat getting removed was really satisfying
@@psykalag I would hope a lot more. At $50/hr, you'd barely cover costs. Remember, he needs to pay for the garage, utilities, equipment, materials, advertising, etc. I would assume he'd charge over $150/hr, if not more.
So gross… people who have kids to place blame and their issues into their kids. It’s our responsibility to teach them how to clean up after themselves. Love the difference and how new it looks!! Keep up the good work!!
I remember being 5-6 years old when my parents made me go out to the car and clean all the windows because I drew stuff on them with my finger when they were foggy. My siblings and I were also forbidden from eating in the car because we couldn't reliably get food from a container to our mouths without leaving a trail.
The quality and attention of the work you have put in, is unquestioned. But like many others here have commented, hopefully you have also opened up her mind of whatever difficulties she may be going through and seek help. This is an entire family that needs a wake up call. The gentleman that worked in with her, which I assume is her spouse, is equally in need of this wake up call for letting her let her possession get to this point. Great job man. I can tell you really put your heart and soul into this work out of true care for another human being!!
Great work on this one! I completely understand how and why cars in Canada get that way on the outside. It's the interior conditions that amaze me. I guess some folks just use them to get from A to B and that's it. I wonder if the oil change is current 🤔 If I were to bring a vehicle to you, I would get the garbage out, especially the glove box items 😉
I also live on a gravel road and have four kids. Life is full of trade offs - car can be always clean on the inside, but the outside tends to look just like this within a week of washing. However, we have 30 eggs a day from our chickens, heaps of privacy and loads of outdoor space to garden, skate, whatever. You have been very inspiring to my idea of “if you have nice things, you must take care of them.” Cheers!
Wow. Just wow! What a transformation! One thing I love about the owner reactions is how humble you are as they are just going crazy with how clean everything is. I've watched a ton of your videos, and this one may just take the cake for the worst one yet.
@Baracka Flaka Flame probably close to 2 thousand. He did a paint, vinyl and fabric protection package at the end. Place I work for charges 800 for that alone. Detail was probably 1,000-1,200 so 2k total
I have 4 kids and a service dog, and we go everywhere together. Even disabled, I clean and vacuum my car once a week, and my kids each clean their spots each time. There are reasons, and then there are excuses. "I have 4 kids" is an excuse. I shudder to imagine the state of her house.
You would need a team of 40-50 people at a minimum...... I have 4 children, and none of my vehicles have ever been on this condition !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have to always keep in mind that many people struggle with their mental health. I'm assuming that excuses like these are a sign of burnout. Maybe the owner(s) just are not able to keep up with their tasks and deal with for instance depression.
I've been following you for a while and it's really cool to see the growth in your videos. They've become a big part of my youtube experience, and my life. Thank you for making them!
Wow. So much respect for what you do. This gives me some hope that my carpeting may be salvageable yet. I worked at a wood working warehouse, and it destroyed my car after 5 years. There's micro wood chips clung to every inch of the carpeting near the seats. I should have got weather tech liners or even changed clothing and shoes but too little too late. Now I have to pay for a full detail but seeing the amount of work and detail that goes into this job, I have no problem paying hundreds to have it look even close to the day I got it from the dealership.
When I lived in the states, I worked at a custom body shop. We did a detail not quite as bad, but deffo gross and we ended up taking the carpet out the vehicle completely, and jet washing it! There was deer blood in the underlay sound deadening, we ended up making the customer pay for new underlay otherwise the horrid smell would never go away!
Geek, I really appreciate your videos. Thanks to you I will be starting a detailing business of my own. I have always loved detailing but enjoyed my career in IT. I am ready for a paradigm shift in my life. I got the wife's go-ahead. That is all I need. I got the rest in me.
Count me among those that will never understand the disconnect when people who live in areas where snow and ice are part of every day life, yet they don't think to put quality floor mats in their vehicles. I just don't get it. As always Mitch, phenomenal job!
I’m from Florida and the first things to go are ALWAYS the carpet floor mats! That’s always the first accessory I shop. There’s nothing quite like pressure washing your floor mats and letting them dry. Carpet floor mats are just too much upkeep, even in Florida.
Incredible job! Your skills are astonishing. As for the owners, the absolute lack of respect for their property and concern for their children is astonishing. I couldn't even bear to watch them talk - they were revolting. Honestly, if I ever spotted children sitting in that decrepit mess I would immediately call Child Protective Services.
There’s a detail I won’t forget for a long time…crazy how good it turned out!!
Hit that thumbs up button if you enjoyed seeing the owner’s reaction on this one! Have a great weekend guys!
I Actually have this exact same model vehicle and it needs an interior detail
Idk if you’ve answered this in one of your vids. But I’m curious about your method… is it better/easier/preferred to clean the outside before the inside? Thanks again for all you do. I always love getting home from the night shift and passing out to your details. Happy Aloha Friday! 🤙🏽❤️💛💚🤙🏽

If my car was like that I would be too embarrassed to take it to a detailer. You certainly transformed that car, well done.
I would have thought at least fill a bin bag with the rubbish and throw a bucket of water over the back windscreen so you can see out to drive it there.

Me too!
We were 5 kids in my family and my parents car never ever came close to looking like this. Respect to you for cleaning it!
I am thinking she has mental health issues. She shouldn’t be using her mum status and kids as an excuse…
I never let my kids eat in the car.
I had 6 siblings growing up it was also never that dirty
I was coming here to say the same thing. used tampons in the car feels more like a mental illness thing than a laziness thing.
Right i cant believe the nasty bih even showed her face 🤢🤢

Exactly!!!
Nasty people. There's no excuses for this.
Poor Mitch!
I bet the kids just got into mom's purse to play with the strange pink cotton tubes. Lol
I don’t care how bad my depression is, at least spend 5 minutes taking out the used tampons and other nasty stuff. That’s just my opinion.
The only way that can happen is if you decide to get frisky in the car while you’re on. I suppose it’s better than throwing it out the window
But then you have your kids in the car next to them? This woman should not even have her kids. Imagine what her house looks like….
In this car they were not used, if I had to guess one of her kids found them in her purse and thought they were a toy.
Just look at the outside of the car it's all staged.

I'm the youngest of 6 kids and this car shocked me

Tell them to look up the meaning of “detail.”

I’ve not just put floor mats in my car, I’ve also got it lined end to end with a vinyl mat. That ensures that the car floor is super easy to clean
32:04 "my kids are never allowed in here again"
With all the tampons found inside, I don't think the kids were the problem ma'am....
@@AsentrixYTWomen ☕️
@leiladearie because women arent worth it nowadays lmao
@@Unknown-pg2ed So you're gay? happy pride
@@Unknown-pg2ed no, it's yall. we've raised our standards to normal decency now lmfao
tampons are very handy to keep everywhere. most women carry tampons and/or pads in their purses. tbh, i would've been pissed if i found out that this dude just threw away five perfectly good tampons, considering how expensive they are.
@@johnfranklin5277 oooh good thinking! I bet you’re right.
There is such thing as a lazy parent...
Or just a carrier bag for trash to be put in.
How are they not jumping up and down for joy?! The work you do is amazing. Wow!
Still I shock cause of the bill after FIFTEEN HRS 😮😂😂
I think they're so used to their filth and other people cleaning it for them that it's not new to them
They know that in a week it's gonna look like it never got cleaned b cause they really don't care about their stuff that much. I'm sure their home is probably a nightmare as well. They make zero effort to maintain or clean anything and just tell everyone "we have kids" as if having kids eliminated any responsibility of caring for your possessions
Great job! Love your videos! I learn so much from you that i try to put into detailing my own car! Please don't ever stop making content!❤
God bless you
I really like your videos. There's something so satisfying about watching you take the dirtiest car and making it look like new ❤❤❤❤
Not going to pretend I know how this car got this dirty or how it was allowed, but hopefully, your detailing made an impact and gave them the foundation to keep it clean going forward. Well done!
It will look like it did again in 8 months.
I drive my cars from one place to the other, i don't cook and do daily chores in them
@@rasta77-x7o bless your heart, good for you to not knowing what its like to have depression or any other mental illness. Have a blessed one.
He has a couple of videos on his channel like this...there was one that came back like 3 months later and it was worse 😅😂
Guaranteed she trashes it again within 3 months because 1. She does not care, and 2. She didn't have to do any of the work to clean it. Clearly neither her nor her kids respects their things.
Hi Mitch, These cars will pray for you more than their owners ! Great job !🤩
Boom. Done.
I think that's the secret, spend a couple minutes when you get home, if you don't wanna spend hundreds paying someone to do it for you every now and then.
hopefully some day you will learn , to not allow them to eat in the car !
Have your son help you pick up his food. Then afterwards no eating in the car as a punishment for the both of yous
Lol
Those poor kids will be more likely to be hoarders. Please check on them this is a nightmare.
This is child abuse, four children forced to be in that car.@@AissataDCissesee
This is truly child abuse four children forced to go in that vehicle. Call child protection to make aahome home visit
The home those four children live in may be the same as this vehicle . Call child protection to investigate
I am a registered nurse retired & this is serious child abuse. Used tampons in a car is psychotic.
I love that you link all the supplies you use. Bless
But, repeat business!
I call that job security 😂
She said it herself, ”my kids are allowed in here again”. If theyre allowed in the car (I’d put them on the bus personally), maybe dont give them any candy or food in there.
Why do you think the kids treat the car the way they do? They watch the parents do it..unless you think the used tampons belonged to the kids

So many questions. I wonder what thr house looks like? And sad to say, that amazing job he just did, won't last. What an amazing transformation tho. You are incredible ❤️
Leopard doesn’t change its spots.
I love how you did your job and somehow managed to roast the owner in a very humble way. Great content. What a disgusting car
Your work is truly top shelf!
Have you ever considered doing a rug cleaning video?
You ARE the best out there! Not only for your attention to detail but for a strong stomach when you work on gross cars and to spend 15 hrs restoring a car to showroom glory! Absolutely phenomenal clean! Cheers 🎉
What an incredible job you did!! I'm from a family of 9 kids and there was no way our car ever looked like that - even remotely!!
Frr I'm from a family of four adults and 7 kids not including me and nothing ever got that bad 😬
In my opinion this is lazy parents, it’s easier to let the kids, and adults, throw it down then throw it away. And how the heck do you get a ‘used’ tampon in the car 😳, were they keeping it for a souvenir? That is the most disgusting thing I ever seen!
Exactly, I have 8 children and I would never allow my children to ride in something that filthy
@@clotillemauvaise8 that's a lot of children

You deserve a medal for an outstanding job.
I have 5 sons and my cars look fabulous! Kids can be taught to appreciate things, lady.
The joy on their faces. This is the power of deep and thoughtful cleaning. Bravo.
When you drove the car in the shop I thought the color of the car was brown . Two thumbs up 👍👍 God Bless
I'm glad she got help when she did. Everyone needs help sometimes and you shouldn't be embarrassed. There's nothing wrong with giving a helping hand.
That’s what I’m saying, this is probably years worth of grime and I imagine she’ll be coming back a bit more regularly
You are overly kind. Maturity may help you understand that most people like this just are and don’t change or even see how bad this situation seems to other people.
@@zuzuspetals9281I have to second your opinion on this.. there’s dirty then there’s filth, and this crosses the line.
Using 5-10minutes wouldn't hurt to pick up and clean obvious garbage and filth everytime they use the car or after every trip. I understand if they can't clean the ones under the seats, but the seats itself come on now it's the most obvious one to see if it's filthy or clean
i feel bad for judging but no car should get to this point. having used tampons? that's just crazy
No one comes even close to you Mitch, you are certainly blessed and this is your calling for sure. 🥰💙
Mitch I really love how you always go the extra mile... err kilometer when you detail these vehicles!
This guys a pro
Hats off to your work man literally u seriously give these cars a new life it’s so satisfying to watch all my stress flew away ❤🥰🥹
Great transformation. The Johnny B. Goode solo at the end was the icing on the cake for me since it reminds me of my favorite movie Back To The Future. Great Job Brother!
Yeah back to the future had to me in the top 100 best movies of all times
You are hands down the best detailer I have ever seen online. What a shame I live so far away.
I am wondering this too. 15 hours met be like 750 easy
@@psykalag I would hope a lot more. At $50/hr, you'd barely cover costs. Remember, he needs to pay for the garage, utilities, equipment, materials, advertising, etc.
I would assume he'd charge over $150/hr, if not more.
I hope it was at least $100.00 per hour plus environmental fees.
I’m really hoping the total amount involved a comma.
Surely these have to be staged,no one could let there car get that bad
So gross… people who have kids to place blame and their issues into their kids. It’s our responsibility to teach them how to clean up after themselves.
Love the difference and how new it looks!! Keep up the good work!!
Unbelievable transformation!
I like the new studio a lot. A few strategically placed acoustic panels could make it perfect for recording the audio.
Too many judgmental comments on this. I'm so glad yall are perfect
You don't have to be perfect to know and say that THIS is just gross 🤮🤮🤮absolutely nasty
Really makes us sit here and watch both full ads
15 hours what was the bill for such a well done job even I got a sense of satisfaction when you were done .
RESPECT YOU HAVE EARNED!
@Baracka Flaka Flame probably close to 2 thousand. He did a paint, vinyl and fabric protection package at the end. Place I work for charges 800 for that alone. Detail was probably 1,000-1,200 so 2k total
I bet 1500 to 2000. Time,tools, soaps, products.
A house requires a whole team and its out of his juridstiction
House? How about her underwear. She must just throw them away.
I'm one of 4 kids, my mom would freak if we left her car as such. She has us clean up the car after we get out, like trash and such.
I can already tell that this detail took you quite some time to complete. Again, great job and quality work.
The fact that the owners will never truly appreciate the level of quality in this detail like the rest of us car / detailing enthusiasts…
This level of cleaning has got to be near a thousand bucks 🤔
I honestly love these details where every step makes it look like it's a completely different vehicle
Why anyone would put a dead deer there is baffling lol
Geek, I really appreciate your videos. Thanks to you I will be starting a detailing business of my own. I have always loved detailing but enjoyed my career in IT. I am ready for a paradigm shift in my life. I got the wife's go-ahead. That is all I need. I got the rest in me.
That's incredible to hear that you were able to do that. Wishing you much success!
Did you grow tired of IT ??
Just thinking about getting educated
I so admire and adore the care and love and passion you put into every detail. Bravo Mitch 👏🏾
Count me among those that will never understand the disconnect when people who live in areas where snow and ice are part of every day life, yet they don't think to put quality floor mats in their vehicles. I just don't get it. As always Mitch, phenomenal job!
Floor mats are the least of this owners concerns
I live in a country where it doesn't snow. I haven't seen a car without floor mats here. ever.
