@ it’s got tons of blood, gore, amazing werewolf makeup, jump scares and Anthony Hopkins as a werewolf/main antagonist!!!! Some the CGI isn’t perfect but it’s an amazing movie and one of my favorite remakes.
I fucking loved this movie, saw it opening night in 3D and like two or three more times in theaters, at the time theaters were less strict so my father and I would normally pay for one and stroll around, if another started in we went, that’s how I saw this one multiple times in theaters and I love it every single time
@ I personally can say that I will never deny that, I like that this wolf man looks like the old black and white movies, I was born 93, but I always just loved the looks of the old movies, but Van Helsing just looks so much better and the transformation was just the best looking
Remember watching this in theaters back in 2010 with my uncle who is now passed away, we were both obsessed with werewolf movies and that’s all we’d talk about all the time when I was a kid lol. Had the time of my life watching this together with him during my childhood and this film holds a special place in my heart because of that.
In my opinion this is one of the best in this genre if not the best! Some CGI but makeup done by the best Hollywood has to offer put this movie over the top. To bad horror like this always goes overlooked. Even the musical score was right on point.
I love the difference between Larry and Sir John Talbot's transformation's. Larry is resisting to change, and it's slow and painful. Meanwhile Sir John doesn't resist and change's instantly.
Love how they show the difference in how both Wolf approach the fight, Lawrence trying to smash his father’s head on the floor in a more human way while John is more animalistic, biting and eating the flesh of his son. It’s ironic because Lawrence while being Cursed still clings to his humanity that’s why he in the final moments he was able to recognize Gwen and held back because he still has his humanity intact even as a Beast, while John completely accepts the Beast’s nature that’s why he wasn’t able to recognize his own wife and eldest son(Ben) and kill them in his Beast form because there’s no shed of humanity in him as a Beast
Iv always had a theory that the father had some degree of control over the beast and actually enjoyed the murders he committed because of the power he felt.
A big game hunter gets turned into the ultimate apex predator. It's his dream come true. I think they also drew a little inspiration from "The Most Dangerous Game" with his character.
Usually a fight scene that has a hundred cuts in the editing will look like shit, but they actually managed to make it easy to follow and understand what was happening. That's rare.
I honestly like the piano from the beginning of this scene, but we absolutely need this in every werewolf movie because it's almost like directors are making werewolves a lot of zombies which is just... boring. We need more werewolf fights
They should have hired Rob Botin and used practical effects. The CG really brings the film down. They have a great cast. No reason this couldn't be a 4 star film.
Awesome Movie , i have it on DVD at Home . This is one of my Top Favorite Scenes from the Whole Movie . When that Huge Paw slammed onto the Table you knew Things were going to be Epic . And that Face off before they fighted , they were in there Wolf Forms but there Growls at eachother sounded like Whole Sentences .
If you had to rank the best werewolf films in cinematic history, an American werewolf in London would hold top spot, and this Wolfman remake has a very strong claim for 2nd place
This is more like the Wolfman vs the werewolf. Lawrence is the Wolfman because he still retains some elements of humanity. Whereas Sir John is the werewolf because he completely embraces the beast.
This movie set to be a Epic by all means..All the influence of the film is not only Fantasy registered but a true legend as in my Native Nation we do have quite few names for Werewolf..which still alive .across this small Cosmic blue Point….Period…
When he cut his father's head off, I almost believed the body would look for it to put back in it's place, since werewolfs have instantaneous cicatrization and the movie was a bit overacting to my concept.
I agree about the great wolfey design on the creature from Van Helsing film... But this ones are different, i mean, it's a nice reinterpretation of the classic horror movie from the Universal films.
If you had to rank the best werewolf films in cinematic history, an American werewolf in London would hold top spot, and this Wolfman remake has a very strong claim for 2nd place
I don’t care what anyone says, Wolfman 2010 is one of my all time favorite werewolf movies.

I’m obsessed with wolf and werewolf movies and I am a werewolf at heart because I have the temper of the werewolf
This werewolf remake movie is criminally underrated happy Halloween 🎃
My thought exactly, that was one hell of a movie to me. The special effects and gore were amazing!!!
@ Couldn’t agree more with you here !
No. No, it isn't.
😳😳🖤🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸
Not by anyone I know who actually watched it. Anthony Hopkins was a beast! Pun obviously intended.

The son struggling and suffer meanwhile the father enjoying plenty. Right?
Basically since the Dad embraces his Beast side while Lawrence doesn't and always resists @@JF.007
Father had more control because of locking himself up on full moons.
@@MrClos420the father had more experienced of being a wolf since his been like that for 20 years so he can control himself more than Lawrence can
I don't care what anyone says, this film is still a classic after all these years.

John recognized his son Ben. He killed him because he wanted to marry Gwen and go far from his father.
Sir John was also a werewolf for like 35 years.
@@doom21100He also was drunk.
maybe because Lawrence turned a few days ago, and his father - more than thirty years ago? :)
Iv always had a theory that the father had some degree of control over the beast and actually enjoyed the murders he committed because of the power he felt.
I think he was more in tune with it for sure
Wouldn’t you do? If a murder itselfs don’t disgusses the murderer I guess it will entertain him
Other way to think about it. The beast had more control over him.
A big game hunter gets turned into the ultimate apex predator. It's his dream come true.
I think they also drew a little inspiration from "The Most Dangerous Game" with his character.
" Hell... Hmm, The beast is the beast. "
The best werewolves movie ever 💯👹🙃🤘
The shot of the portrait. That’s mom saying how proud she is of her boy.
I like how neither of them react when the house burns down😮
Is that because it was a Living Hell for the both of them 🤔
This is my favorite 2010 WOLFMAN
This movie was so great.. This is what you call a Werewolf movie.
3:12 my best friend started to laugh so hard 😂😂
😂😂😂
bro was ready to bust down
This fight scene was excellent. I love this film
Usually a fight scene that has a hundred cuts in the editing will look like shit, but they actually managed to make it easy to follow and understand what was happening. That's rare.
You hate to see family fight like that but it's always alcohol or an ancient curse that divides them😂
Thanksgiving when they talk werewolf politics
Clássico moderno ignorado por muitos...merece toda a atenção do público atual...elenco primoroso ... produção magnífica ❤

They look like two bigfoots fighting😂
The fact this movie didnt get any critical acclaim baffles the hell out of me, this was a very great movie hands down one of my top 5 werewolf movies
Not many clips live up to the epic label, but that one did!
This is NOT the full scene. There are is much more fighting between them which has been cut out. The full scene is twice as long.
wait WHAT?
This is the best werewolf movie.
I can't wait for Jason Blum's Wolfman in 2025🌕
It’s pretty scary how savage they are as werewolves, definitely the most violent/beastly interpretation I’ve seen in a long time
The dark side of "colonel ludlow". 🤣🤣🤣
Michael Corvin (Underworld Franchise) vs Wolfman (Wolfman 2010). Who would win a fight to the death?
Pretty crazy that Hannibal and Franky Four Fingers ended up werewolves.
What is the Elf from LOTR doing there tho?
Wild a$$ movie!
Very classic wolf man shot 4:36
I like how in the novelization, they differentiate between the two by calling John "The Werewolf" and Lawrence "The Wolfman".
This is a great movie
They should have hired Rob Botin and used practical effects. The CG really brings the film down. They have a great cast. No reason this couldn't be a 4 star film.
Rick Baker wanted the transformation to be practical but the director refused
@@milanunosson9355 apparently they did film practical transformations. The director decided that they would go the CGI route afterwards
Love this movie
Umm... Your house is on fire 🔥
One of the best werewolf movies and this movie is way better than the original.

Pretty good for a remake.
I thought i was the only one who liked this movie! I need a fresh copy! 😂 Got ❤ 4 "Wolfman" 2010!
Talking about parental chastising, he's beating the hell out of his son, damn dad.😆😆😆😆
I mean what’d ya expect lol, he killed his other son and his wife.
i love this movie and i dont understand why this Movie got such bad reviews ? 🤔
Мне нравится этот фильм 👍
Fucking badass. Not enough of these fights. 👌🏽🔥💯🐺🌕
Let's hope "The Wolf Man" it will be on a pair with this! But i have a bad feeling! This one was great! Blood, gore, gritty, dark..
It’s trash. NOTHING like this one in every way
@iamjonvideos3384 have you seen it, princess?
@@mrgrumpyjinx nah the trailer alone tells me, my queen.
@@iamjonvideos3384 well, a trailer have 3 minutes maximum, my sweet princess! So... let's wait to see the entire movie, okay, sweetie?
@ nahh I’m stubborn dear. It didn’t even look like the dude transformed. Looks like they going for a more human wolf approach, disgusting!
Who knew werewolves were so flammable?
Forgot Anthony Hopkins was in this
This was one of Anthony Hopkins best performances since The Silence of the Lambs.
If you had to rank the best werewolf films in cinematic history, an American werewolf in London would hold top spot, and this Wolfman remake has a very strong claim for 2nd place
Universal had this movie and Dracula origins story, but decided to start its Monsterverse with a Tom Cruise Mummy. What a waste.
This film was one of the real GOATS. Anybody know what GOAT means ?
Quick put those flames out before the mansion burns down.
It's classic. But, damn, it's more like a fuckin apes than wolves!
Well, the werewolf in the classical Hollywood sense, is meant to be an abomination, neither fully wolf or man, yet having the worst traits of both.
Was he covered in something flammable because people don’t suddenly go up in flames like that.
This is more like the Wolfman vs the werewolf. Lawrence is the Wolfman because he still retains some elements of humanity. Whereas Sir John is the werewolf because he completely embraces the beast.
#WEREWOLF🐺 vs #WEREWOLF🐺.

Point….Period…
Father of the year
For the universal Monsterverse I would rather have seen Benicio del Toro play Dr.Jekyll & Mr Hyde & Russell Crowe as the Wolfman.
Dr. Gonzo vs. Dr. Lecter
The whole head lopped off by a slap probably was too much I would of believed it more if it was a ripped throat slash motion kind of scene
wait, they were both werewolves this whole time?!

Werewolf in this movie look like Wookie, yes ?
Like the first were wolf film... Years before Star Wars.
Imagine Lawrence vs Logan...
Come on now…. Who has metal claws and can heal? 😂
The make up is insane
Benicio doesn't sound British at all.
It looks more like an ape than a wolf.
😂
Love
They should’ve just left this w.this film!!!!!!! Reboot looks terrible!!!!!!!
This don’t look very epic bruh
Hahahahahaha!

I liked this alot
Dam, this looks horrible
Who in the hell wants to see werewolves fight each other😂 this is a fucking action movie hahahahahaha oh and L cgi
This movie was so bad 😁
This was such a dumb scene that ruined a mediocre movie.
It looks like Beast and Chewbacca had a disagreement. The only werewolf for me is Van Helsing's. The rest is crap.
You have to weigh out one was computer animation and the other were costumes.
