I am of the opinion that that 2010 Wolfman movie is the best werewolf tale I have ever seen.
Because is a version of the great movie of 1941. The two movies are my favorites ever!!!❤❤❤
Me too
It's joint best with van helsing
I'm also a fan of 1980's "The Howling".
@ Me too, super fan!!!
One of the best and underrated werewolf movies.
This is the GOAT
I hope that maybe, in an anniversary special brings "the director's cut" with all those scenes
They literally cut out the best! The transformation and the concert parts were amazing and distinctive!
No kidding they cut the best parts out! Wow just Wow!!! can you say crunch? LOL
Had to be studio meddling or something, just sheer incompetence to cut some of this. Some of the best material they shot and they leave it out? Cutting the concert scene in particular is malicious.
The concert was a little lame if you ask me, he's suppose to be a feral beast with murderous intends yet he enters a room calmy in two feet and walks to see the blind woman?? C'mon that too cheesy
@@franingegnieri1831 Somewhat, but it reminds me of 30-es movies...
No. It looked corny and not scary
Loved this movie. Rick Baker poured all of his heart into this movie.
I WISH THEY'D MAKE ANOTHER ONE. THIS ONE STILL HAUNTS ME STILL IN A GOOD WAY. IT WAS SO REAL SO AUTHENTIC AND BENICIO WITH EMILY PLAYED SUCH A GREAT PART. GOSH WITH A SLITE ROMANTIC VIBE I LOVED IT. I'VE SEEN SOME CRAPPY WOLF MOVIES THAT SHOULDN'T EVEN HAVE BEEN MADE WITH PEOPE DRESSED UP IN SOME STUPID COSTUME BUT THIS ONE OH MY JUST MAKE YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH THE WOLFMAN ALL OVER AGAIN.
The deleted scenes make it a better movie and the ending where he kills her is more gripping.
Punctuation 😮 and capital letters 😮😮
@@PhilipMaldonado-kx9cbbut did he kill her as he bit her she shot him and the moon shone down on her, with its eldritch intensity.
@@queva42 I’m waiting for the next one that they say is coming on January 2025 and it’s based on these ones (1941 and 2009). Can’t wait!!!!
I meant I’m looking forward…..
This movie was amazing I’ll never understand why it didnt do good in box office
The issue was the deleted content not scenes that were shot but scenes that were scripted and pulled by the studio to start slashing the budget so at times the film seemed a little disjointed especially with the passage of time. A few other nitpicks as some felt a few people were miss casted or wasted. Spill Review now Double Toasted did a great review talking about the issues to kinda give a mindset at the time of audiences and what led to a flop.
Myself I enjoyed the fill but I was raised as a Wolfman and werewolf fan so if the movie's good I'm gonna have a good time and forgive the short comings.
@@donovanbradford8231typical shirt sighted interference by producers who do not have an ounce of creativity. They only see potential dollar signs.
Largely because today's audiences are no longer in tune with Universal style horror and in addition have been thoroughly spoiled by being unwisely over-educated regarding the complex processes of movie-making itself. In other words, the big film companies have shot themselves in the foot by giving away virtually all of their movie-making secrets to the general public.
Too many morons nearby
Pepole were not ready for this film in 2010
These should’ve never been deleted. So glad this was posted so we could enjoy. Thanks
Thank-you for these deleted scenes. They truly add to such a great storyline and film. I greatly appreciated the alternate scene with the wolfman biting her and having her live at the end. Happy Halloween!
The scene where he's strapped to Chair as the doctor speaks to other doctor's who were amused then full terror when the moon starts changing him into the werewolf was scary as Fuck the fear they felt had me in fear lol
They realized his transformation was beyond scientific explanation
One of the best and scariest scenes is the opening scene
I SEARCHED FOR THESE DELETED SCENES FOR A LONG TIME ! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SENDING ALL OF THEM! ❤❤❤❤
In the alternative ending there would be 2 werewolves, a male and a female, to continue the race, since it is the bite that gives the power of lycanthropy.
The films an underrated masterpiece,
The director was a fool not to run all those deleted scenes and any one of the endings! All great stuff.
a lot of the times its not really down the director, the studio pressures to get stuff changed
Well this wasn't even the original director of the film. The one chosen had issues with certain things cut from the film as it was during the writers strike of 2009 or 2010 I forget, but because of the timing no rewrites were allowed the director fought and either left or was asked to leave. The new director came in and did as he was told by the studio and the rest is an unfortunate history.
Best werewolf movie ever, especially for design, Victorian England of 800' and the perfect shape of werewolf. A man big and tall with some fisionimic characteristics of a wolf. Chapeau 🎩 to Rick Baker, GRANDE MAESTRO!
The concert scene is my favourite just cause of the emotion shown by him werewolf form and how he ignored everyone else well until mister grabby decided to tug his arm and get himself an everyone else there killed XD
The novelization revealed that the Wolf Man was confused as to why none of the "prey" was showing any fear of his presense, especially the blind singer. The singing itself was just barely enough to touch something beyond the raging bloodlust.
As for "mister grabby," the Wolf Man's fangs actually got stuck in the man's skull for a bit, which is what gave all the other nobles time to flee.
Just like my other favourite movies, I can always rewatch this movie with the same feeling like I watch it for the first time.
I know that the OG Wolfman had sequels so it would be cool if they made a sequel to this with Benicio Del Toro reprising his role. And I know that many people will bring up the ending of this and how Lawrence dies. But the original Wolfman ended with Lawrence dying. But they still found a way to bring Lawrence back in the sequels. So they could easily do the same with this if they were to make a sequel.
Best werewolf of all time.❤❤❤ Thank you
Lon chaney!!!
Is it a werewolf or wolfman?
@@samwelnjenga2503 Same thing.
True
Van Helsing werewolf is the best of all time.
I love this movie! Great alternate endings.
They should have made the sequel, when Hugo weaving gets bitten.
❤
Eu também gosto de filmes de terror
Agree completely! Some sequels are more worth a try than others.
If the rumour was correct they was planning to do a sequel with Hugo weaving I believe it had aberline going to America to hunt the ripper down using his new werewolf abilities
I always thought it would be cool if when Lawrence is breaking through the Wolfman that split second he should have said “Gwen” to give that scene more weight. Then when the hounds start howling it snaps him back into that primal animal
Man this movie deserves a squel
Una película infravalorada. Excelentes escenas, efectos y guión. Todos muy buenos actores.
I have the DVD, where you have the options to view extended scenes. I always watch that version.
😮
My favorite deleted scene was the costume party scene. It reminded me of Emma Watson's beauty and the beast a little bit! Love it! 👍.
And what's the most interesting is, the singer lady is blind. And poor that Lady got frightened by a gunshot sound.
Alternate ending number one would have made for a great sequel with both Gwen and the Inspector becoming werewolves! Too bad they didn't choose that path (now they have another reboot coming)!
Should have left them in, but the ending in movie was the best. Alternate ending, British Wolfgirl?
they shouldve kept that concert scene!!
Thanks for posting.
They have to continue this movie plot by its sequel. This was a awesome movie. I want it's sequel with same brutality and werewolf design.
I have the same box 2:11, bought in Cairo. They are the ones who built such beauty.
2:36 I wish they never deleted this part
I wish they didn’t delete any of the scenes. I wish they kept it all together. As a matter of fact, you could always edit your own version of the movie take all deleted scenes and put it in the movie in the right order and watch it all together.
@@DARTH_ZORAN I actually prefer the original end in the movie than the alternatives... no reason to Gwen die
@@saturn1177that's what makes him more tragic,it adds pathos to his plight.
If Gwen didn't kill him in one ending, then how do you think he would have been killed?
If I had it my way,I would of had her kill him and he also kills her, like in "House of Frankenstein " 1945.The studio could then leave him dead or resurrect for a sequel,or leave him dead and pick up the Inspector Abeline werewolf story.
Thank you for this 🙏🏻❤️
Until today I had never heard of this movie,it breaks my heart because Sicario is one of my favorite movies.
I like the first ending, he bites her, she kills him, lets have a sequel with a female werewolf.
Some deleted scenes I liked and some I didn't and glad that they weren't added to the film. For instance, the alternate ending in which the werewolf bit her in the end and killed her. Not a happy ending. Glad that they did not go with that ending. However, the costume party was good 👍.
Some of these are in the UK version, which I own and is by far the best version imo
The transformation one was by far the best!! Why did they cut that out!! That was gruesome but amazing
Best Werewolf movie in my opinion. Academy Award winner Rick Baker did a fantastic job in this testament to the original Wolf Man film with Lon Chaney Jr. He won his Academy Award for the effects done In an American Werewolf in London.
I want my Hugo Weaving werewolf sequel! After all; he was bitten or clawed by the werewolf and lived, just like Benicio del Toro!
There needs to be a sequel ❤
Alterate Ending Two were Gwen dies and the wolfman lives should’ve been in the ending. Who agrees 15:52
Thank you soo much big fan of WM love to see these clips ❤️
He is the Best Werewolf.
I have to watch certain WW movies repeatedly and this is definitely one of my all-time favorites. For me to fall in love with a WW film, it has to have an interesting backstory.....and of course, the creature has to look and act bad ssa. Some of the films I come across, the "Werewolf" looks like a Part City reject and one dude had on sneakers!
I get the critics didn't like the CGI effects(GOD, knows it would've been beyond awesome to witness another AWWIL and Howling EPIC type WW transformation, but IMO it was a little CGI and all that beautiful makeup glory went to Mr Rick Baker. That man's skills are beyond fantastic!
Its really remarkable for a movie to have so many great, seperate scenes and still be so dissapointing as a whole.
Why would they delete the concert scene? That was incredible!
I didn't realize how tall he was until the concert scene.
Thanks for sharing this video I watched the wolfman with lon chanely junior I did notice some differences Gwen wasn't married to Lawrence's brother she was single & guns didn't kill the werewolf the cane did with the silver wolf head it's still an awesome werewolf film.
The best werewolf movie ever made in the entire world
It's been awhile since I saw the movie, but I think that the werewolf fight made it to the final cut
Benicia loved the original seemed to be obsessed by that movie.
I Like The Other Ending Better, Gwen Shoots He Right Before Wolfman Was About To Kill Her, And After She Shot Him, He Changed Back To Lawrence And Dies
Yeah I’m With Aldo, The Other Ending Is Much Better, Gwen Survives After She Killed Lawrence As The Wolfman
The director’s cut was far superior
Holy shit...he killed Gwen... he will never be able to forgive himself!! So horrible :-( imagine when he turns human and sees her dead body !!😢😢
She was bit so she can transform like Lawrence or the inspector
@@davisjones7137 I think she's talking about Alt Ending 2
Actually she wouldn't turn into a werewolf if he killed her. You only become one if bitten and Actually survive a werewolf attack.
If anything, the movie suffered from bad CGI. Other than that it‘s a great werewolf flic with a classic touch and a great cast.
um ótimo filme de lobisomem ao estilo antigo
Good old Larry Talbot!! No relation. But love how he was the oldstyle wolfman. I remember watching the black and white films!
The opening scene with max von sydow is missing, that's how Lawrence got the cane.
Emily Blunt role just to fall in love with Ben and Lawrence😅
Who ever is bitten by a werewolf becomes a werewolf himself
I think I like second alternate ending
portugues
They cut out half the movie lol !
The best wolfman!
7:10 Beauty and the Beast referance
I can’t believe as a kid I was afraid of beasts then witches
Película hermosa ❤❤
No. 1. The Wolfman 1941 {Lon Chaney Jr.} (2. The American Werewolf In London (3. The Howling {the 1st one, of course} (4. Dog Soldiers (5. Bad Moon (6. Silver Bullet (7. Wer 2013 (8. Wolf 1994 {Jack Nicholson}
We really dont understand why they cut these scenes.
The studio as usual.
@7FaceorHeel7 But they are the best scenes...
@@furiacabocla2furiacabocla589 lmao people make dumb decisions all the time.
14:48 reminds me of QTE fails from video games 😂 "too slow on the draw" ahhh death then you got 19:20 straight "bad ending" ahh death. 😂😂😂 ik mfs had fun with these takes
Alternate ending was definitely better
If you refer to the second one, yes. Absolutely.
The sequel would have been great
I’m surprised these scenes didn’t make it through
9:26 sounds human
I just added for fun 11:02
This was a fantastic movie they missed the mark with the franchise
2:17 this scene was not deleted
The follow up arrrrrrr come on ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Editing hurt this movie
Why would they delete so many scenes with the creature? Wasn't the film about "The Wolfman"? So why cut so many scene of him out? i know I would have enjoyed it much more had they left those scenes in. As it was presented, I thought it was fair at best.
Depends on what the producers want along with the film company
Oh my this film had a story behind it for sure. While it won't answer the deleted scene questions I highly recommend listening to Spill Review's review in long form as it breaks down when the film was shot and all the issues it had with it.
@@davisjones7137 I understand that, but what about what the audience wants. Since we are the ones buying the tickets.
I like Alt ending 1.
You mean most of these scenes are deleted on the English Version?, the wolfmen fight of the ending (Lawrence vs his dad), the bones crunch and talking about curses are canon in the Spanish version
Este é sem dúvidas o melhor filme de lobisomem já feito

WEREWOLF JUMPSCARE!
Some of these are not deleted scenes if you actually watched the movie🤦🏾♂️

In my money, this could have started the Dark Universe instead of that crappy Mummy movie. Hell when i see this i could see Van Helsing and The '99 Mummies movies being in the same universe as this.
Alguém sabe onde assistir a versão do diretor?
