I have the 300 OS with the center island / storage and I absolutely love it. The deck is so wide and plenty long, so it's kind of a dead space anyway, so I think it's an amazing addition. Just the $.02 from someone who owns and and has a couple hundred hours offshore fishing it. We use it for all our baiting, prepping, just a general area to store pliers, scents etc as well and is very accessible to everyone fishing.
Love the front cabin look (window) of the offshore series! I have to admit the storage box in the middle of the back deck would definitely be a deal breaker for me. If I wanted extra storage I'd say incorporate it on the sides or bump, put the back deck, or even the floor. But definitely NOT in the middle of the fishing area. This is just my .02, but I'll be looking to attend the Seattle boat show, and this model is certainly on my short list.
@@3-EnglishLabs it’s really an interesting option. Not for everyone but it’s definitely been a focus in these comments! I actually have the center tackle station on my boat. It helps us when fishing be super organized. It seems like it is a waste of space but once you’re there, it makes sense. Not sure if the offshore we will have at Seattle will have one or not but we may build a stand alone station to get a good feeling for it. We’ve had people order the offshore without it then come back and install one. But again, it’s an option. We build a lot as an open deck
@@ButchIsFalse it’s an optional item. We do them with an open deck or with a center bait tank or like this one with a center tackle station. Personally, once you’re on one of these boats with the center tackle station, it’s pretty eye opening. It makes the boat so organized and functional. But you’re right, it’s not for everyone.
Sweet boat!

Nice boat, very well made. You forgot about the price
Looking for this layout less the center tank / storage and in a 250 SeaRaider. Smooth aluminum deck w deck coating.
No problem. Send us an email: Sales@SelkirkMarine.com and we can map that boat out for you
Let me sell one of my kidney to buy somethinv like this... very noice!
Dont really care for that storage box in the middle of the deck..takes up too much space. rather have an open back deck
