@@prisonguard8562 I don’t recall off hand on this boat but every build is different. The 280 typically lands, oddly enough in the 280k range fully outfitted. Pricing can be higher or lower depending on options, power pkg and electronics but that range is very well equipped with 500hp.

@@bhjackson yes, livewell is super simple and very common. That’s best for San Dabs, Crab, Larger more hearty species. Raider also offers a transom bait tank that takes place of the transom fish box, it’s made specifically for Anchovies and more delicate species that a traditional live well will kill.

We can most definitely do that. We also do a lot of welded in removable davit style pullers. EZ Puller, Discovery, Safety Puller, etc. A lot of people like the welded in style as the whole pot can be lifted and swung into the boat.

@@Oregon629 Mains on a boat this size in ocean conditions troll night and day better than a kicker, the troll mode is for the use of the mains when in rougher water, I generally have to increase my RPMs by 100-200rpm to get the king speeds I want. Kickers just reduce hours but never are a better solution for trolling unless we’re Kokanee fishing.

@@westonhartman6226 there is a 2 or 2.5” difference with the coastal being a taller inside cockpit depth. The sides overall on the Coastal are 2” taller to help build more interior depth as well. With the self bailing deck you loose interior depth. But how the Coastal is setup it’s very comfortable to fish from and hits a 6’ individual at mid thigh.

@@steveleston1848 upper 40’s for overall speed. Great snap out of the hull, it’s a good overall pkg. As for the GPS puck it cannot be mounted near interference or in the band of the radar. Forward cabin becomes a potential leak point overtime and to the side of the arch is in beam. The forward bow has no interference and is a clean location. In hundreds of installs no one has broken one. They’re also stronger than one would think. Accidentally stepping on it won’t break it. This is our preferred location on hardtops but if customers want them mounted elsewhere we’re more than happy to accommodate. Also if a customer is beaching the boat all the time and climbing on and off the bow we would adjust the location accordingly.

@@ystebadvonschlegel3295 it’s a V-berth not a forward cabin. He shows it just past the 10min mark in all its V-berth glory which is cushions, carpet, shelves, a couple of lights… simple sleeping area which is the design nature of this style of boat.

@@greggwoods7173 we do diesel stoves all the time. Some customers need/want a Wallace cooktop, others don’t, 100% personal preference to which we’re always happy to accommodate.

This has 50' of chain as well as the anchor. We have used this setup often. It's not a high end one but for some that rarely anchor it's perfectly sufficient. The person that overnights often the Rocna or I personally run the Lewmar STX Stainless and have had great luck but scope and lots of chain are really important.

@@Kaptajn1eye it should pull directly from the ECU on the engine. A lot of times when it’s inaccurate is when someone uses a kicker motor all the time. The kickers don’t have the function to see fuel burn the same as the larger mains. Could this be the culprit for your application? It adds up more than we think.

Replacement on this boat would be roughly 315k how it sits. Pricing is always best suited into a phone call or email where we can get an idea of how you're using your boat and what you're looking for then a ballpark can be given prior to a hard number. Single options on a boat this size are often several thousand dollars, sometimes 30k...

@@philOKC yeah, this boat has a 5’ long fish hold that’ll hold a massive pile of fish. It’s aft of the bait tank to the transom wall center of the boat.

@@bkbocker no there isn’t a need for a kicker, a main engine actually trolls far more effectively than a kicker in ocean conditions. The control the larger thrust provides counters swells, current rips, wind, etc. better than a kicker can. It’s preferred for us personally but it’s definitely not for everyone. The troll mode changes the RPM by 50rpms so you can fine tune your troll speed. A low troll speed is under 2mph. The only fisheries that pose an issue are walleye and Kokanee for the most part, which isn’t the desired application on this boat. The biggest knock on twins without a kicker is engine hours. It’s quite blown out of proportion and salesmen so often downplay twins with “the safety discussion is less of a thing nowadays” or “a single performs so good now with current technology..” the list goes on. Pick a hull design and I will guarantee if it can handle twins the boat will feel far better underway with twins vs a single. I’m not saying a single doesn’t perform great, I’m saying twins with a dual connection point on both sides of the keel place that boat on rails. The wild thing, a single 300 with kicker and aft kicker controls is really close in price to dual 150’s and front and aft station main controls. If you fish offshore.. it’s a no-brainer.

@Selkirkmarine what is the difference between this type anchor winch and the big spool winch is one better than the other? The only thing I have ever heard is the big spool can deploy faster. What are your thoughts. Thanks

@@bkbocker hmm, I’ve not experienced the drum winch deploying quicker, I think it’s overall a much better winch system but it boils down to use. For me, I fish offshore where we rarely can anchor. So in the past 5 years I’ve anchored 1 time to remove line from a crab pot and keep me from drifting into a jetty and I’ve anchored on the 4th of July every year, that’s all. So for me a drum winch is pointless. It’s far better but I’ll never see the use that justifies the cost. The windlass, specifically the Pro Fish 1000 is auto free fall, similar to the drum winch, but it’s not spinning a spool. So as long as your line is stacked well, it shouldn’t have an issue and I haven’t had one personally with setting anchor at all. The Lewmar is a great unit and has been out for a very long time, for most people, the Lewmar is perfect. For almost all Alaskan boaters we recommend the drum winch. When I’m fishing SCAK we anchor all the time. Constantly. At times we’re also anchoring deep. That type of use is better on a drum winch than a Lewmar.

@@g.r.anderson no, it has dual fuel fills so if your at a high speed pump you can use the other to create a vent and allow the tank to fill more rapidly. It works amazingly well.

There are anomalies on both ends of that spectrum. Off the top of my head this one was on the north end of that mark but it also had other stuff Kylo didn’t go over on the boat like sound deadening paneling sub hull and electrical upgrades and so on. That’s alas priced turn key with everything.

@@tenjuu Coastal is the model of the boat. It’s an 8.5’ beam, 84” bottom plate built with .250” hull plate and .160” side plate, self bailing deck, hardtop with wall-through, etc. the offshore is a 9’2” hull with .190” sides and .250” bottom, forward raked windshield, cuddy, bigger and more equipped for the angler. We fish both models offshore, both are highly capable but the offshore is just bigger and heavier so it does the job better and tends to have a lot more amenities.

Lost seating with a galley. But we have an inverter and grill.

@@Iced-D143 yeah, the head can be used for most with the door closed. If we need to adjust orientation that’s possible depending on cabin design. To stand and run you really need the flip bolster for comfort. Even with the slide a big comfortable seat for sitting and running takes up some room. I personally stand and run, so I prefer the flip bolster. But for those that want to sit the seat configuration we run is really comfortable. Those S5’s are also the cats meow. Hands down 10x better than any mariner or Bostrom suspension seat.

​@@Awlgripfinishes Awlgrip Base Coat, I'm not sure off hand the series and Awlcraft 3000 HG Clear Coat. The team at Awlgrip set the system up for Raider.

19" depending on what engines are on the back. Safe to plan for 24" draft. That is hull draft, not including lower units if you're looking for a minimum travel depth.

@@Selkirkmarine yes I’m planning for the future, I’m in south FL and going down to the keys can be challenging. If I were to get twin 200s-250s where would that put us at?

The 260 will range from 240-290 depending on option which would include electronics. There are abnormalities south and north depending on what someone wants.

@@janicedaily6043 no sir. Although one of the owners of Raider has a lot of experience building fiberglass boats, there is no affiliation to Radon. Jon knows a lot about Radon and respects their down swell handling but wasn’t ever impressed with their overall ride. As commercial boat needs shifted, Radon faded.
