Nice video, both visually and very descriptive. Asking for the wife, can the head be used with the door closed (room for legs)? And, can you stand at the helm with those marine seats, or would I prefer a Shockwave seat with a flip-up bolster?
@@Iced-D143 yeah, the head can be used for most with the door closed. If we need to adjust orientation that’s possible depending on cabin design. To stand and run you really need the flip bolster for comfort. Even with the slide a big comfortable seat for sitting and running takes up some room. I personally stand and run, so I prefer the flip bolster. But for those that want to sit the seat configuration we run is really comfortable. Those S5’s are also the cats meow. Hands down 10x better than any mariner or Bostrom suspension seat.
A livewell design has a sprayer for aerated water intake and an overflow so it doesn't overflow, the corners of the box in aluminum boats are typically rectangular and it works great for keeping trout, stripers, walleye, bass, all types of similar species OR hearty live bait like Sardines, Kelp Greenling, Sandabs, etc. A BAIT TANK in our boats is designed with a vertical rail for constant flow in a specific direction. It's made without hard corners and is oval in shape, this helps with current flow but also keeps bait from beating themselves against the walls of the tank. This is a specific design for live bait like Anchovies and Squid which are very sensitive and need utmost care to keep them healthy and swimming hard. But the livewell will work for a lot of species. The bait tank is mostly for albacore fishing or California halibut fishing where use with Anchovies is preferred.
250’s by request is no problem. Nothing changes. The 200’s are the best overall fuel/performance. No lack of power or punch. 250’s have mad torque. Mid and lower but the 200’s on this boat are no slouches either.
no one steps there or accesses that point, it won't be disrupted by radar or any other signals and we've been doing those installs in that position for years with zero problems. But if a customer wants it on the roof that's not a problem at all.
19" depending on what engines are on the back. Safe to plan for 24" draft. That is hull draft, not including lower units if you're looking for a minimum travel depth.
@@Selkirkmarine yes I’m planning for the future, I’m in south FL and going down to the keys can be challenging. If I were to get twin 200s-250s where would that put us at?
Man I can’t stop watching this video! My goal is to have one built in the next 5 years
Really digging these newer raider boats they seem to have that custom feel other brands are missing.
Thank you!
Great boat!
Thank you!
Solid call with the Suzuki’s. They and Honda/Tohatsu are where it’s at.
What are the performance numbers at cruise/WOT? Awesome boat!
Nice boat, and well done. Please specify the range and price

@@Selkirkmarine Thanks. Planning to come to the Seattle boat show. Hope to see you there.
What do you mean by it’s a live well but not for live bait? Beautiful boat!!

Wow...for fishing
Is the 260 Offshore rated for 500HP or 400HP? The video says you have two 250s hung, but Raider's website says the Max HP is 400.

Why’s the garmin gps on the deck with these boats instead of on the roof? I’d be worried about kicking it or dropping something on it up there.

Can a trolling motor be mounted up by the bow for holding position?

I would get rid off one rear seat and put a mini fridge and A/C..take to florida with me.
We do all types of different layouts. A small galley with a fridge is no problem at all.
