I had a 78' GLC with a 12A here in the states. Built with parts collected when I worked at MazMart in Atlanta, GA. Car was probably the funnest car I ever had. Still doesn't compare to this beast.

My first car was a 78 Mazda GLC in blue, just like this! I thought about doing a rotary swap but just ended up building a 1st gen RX-7 instead. The GLC got a little Chevy V-6 and RX-7 suspension, brakes and rear axle. It was a fun little car, surprised a lot of 5.0 Mustangs back in the day but sadly rust got the better of her.....at least the engine and trans lives on in my Samurai rock crawler!

A high school friend of mine's dad had an RX2 he autocrossed. I'm pretty sure it was stock other than a header and open exhaust. My God that thing was LOUD. People would cringe when he went by 50 feet away.
yeah some times rotors can make ear piercing sounds or noise😂 so many variances with exhaust setups intake etc etc rotors for life🤙

A mate and I in 1996 put a 12a Bridgeport in the exact same model...750kg with roll cage, 2 seats and a fire extinguisher.
Impossible to drive in the rain, hard to keep in a straight line in the dry.

Probably 30k usd worth of motor lol. Its sick. That n/a lets u know, these motors r beasts without turbo.
When i was 16 I had a 13b Rx2 back in '89 .. had a 5speed from an Rx4.. or maybe both came from the 4.. had that wierd angled shifter in it lol. Also exhaust header, glasspack, tri point carb.
It was too fast for me.. i rode the wave a good while before clipping the front fender and tire pretty good comin out of a donut lol
