Hi Gerhard I have another question!! whats the reason for such a difference in the reg pressure between the front and back regs is it so the plenum fills quicker as I always thought between 25 bar and 40 bar was ideal on the maverick cheers mate sorry to bother you atb.
I keep the difference big to accommodate two different tune tunes between slug and pellet. You dont want to dump air and reset the front reg all the time.

Hello my friend... I dont know who i should ask, so now you get the question. I have an FX Impact X Mk2 .22 where i shoot the FX Hybrid Slugs, with about 1010fps. But... it is very hard to get the FX slugs in Denmark... but... in Denmark Javelin 23gr .22 is available. Soo... i think i will have to change from FX slugs to the Javelin slugs 23grain. The question is, what will the fps be with these Javelin 23grain with my setup right now ? And which speed should i aim after ?

That's interesting. You have a very high difference between the 1st and 2nd regulator, whereas FX recommends it to be in the 25 to 50 bars range. Also, you've tuned the pressure up, yet used the hammer adjuster wheel to give it less power. Do you think those things help with accuracy? Also, some people claim there might actually be less accuracy with the longer barrel due to it being floppy. Do you notice better accuracy with the longer barrel?

Quick tuning question for you, if I may… What is your suggestion for best accuracy at 100-150m if I am shooting a 500mm Impact MK2 in 177 (no power limit) for the New JSB 13.43 gr KO slugs? I am thinking around 925-950FPS but high reg pressure and low HS or low reg pressure and high HS. Have not done any tests yet. Press on my friend.
Bit different with the 177 setups. I will go high reg presure for a short quick burst of air keeping the air behind the slug to a minimum. Speeds i will stay at the low end of the 900s.

eso es la presión de lo que le queda a la botella, esa diferencia de los 35 bares solo la ves en el regulador que sale en 130, primero configuras el primer regulador dejando abierto entero el segundo, en el reloj que sale con los 130 ves la presión que quieres dar al primero. sacas el aire cierras el segundo y empiezas a configurar el segundo regulador que en este caso fueron ese 130.

With that speed currently on the 22s i guess 980-990s with the 217. I will bring the speed down to 950fps mark on the 23gn Javelins.
