A $99 monitor that’s 165Hz and looks great out of the box? How is this possible? Out of all the budget monitors we’ve reviewed over the years, this one takes the cake.

Become an actual baller by gifting someone the Corsair HS80 Max Wireless Gaming Headset for the holidays: geni.us/z02DH
I have a 5 monitor system. See my only film. 7:14 I prefer internal power, not external adapters, with the standard power cable. You mentioned the signal connectors and needing an adapter. Monitors always use only 1 connector, no matter how many you have. You simply connect the standard HDMI or DisplayPort cable to it, unless you have a second computer or other source. There are also single cables which have DisplayPort to DVI or HDMI to DVI on each end which I use.
Dude I have a h410m pro mother bored with a 1660 super and Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10400F CPU @2.90GHz 2.90 and 16 gigs of ram I wanna upgrade to 3060 12 gb is that possible? And if not what mother bored should I upgrade to,I really need you help

Love the branching out would love to see a full setup 😊
Yep, definitely going to build around this monitor!
Please be doing more of these low budget monitors. There not that many out there, especially for some of those budget Acer monitors like the SB variants 24inch.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Yo just a question but I have been experiencing fps stutters while playing on my 1 month old gaming laptop mostly when I have it plugged in.Is there a way to fix this?
You never fail to bring out good content.
Glad to hear it, thanks for watching it!
How did you get this monitor in the US. I cant find anybody who ships Koorui monitors to my State
Hi! I am looking for a secondary monitor and I bumped into your channel. You think this is a good secondary or a bit overkill? Thanks for the reply!
@ZachsTechTurf - Thanks for this vid! Quick quesiton- Is this monitor also capable of upscaling motion smoothness in movies ? ( like the soap opera effect on native 120hz panel TVs?)
I got the VA panel version of this monitor after your first video
And I think it's great. I haven't had any complaints o ut of it, changed a few settings which took care or any ghosting effects I had, and I've been using it for a few weeks now.
It's a great monitor for $100 and I have gotten very used to gaming with it
what did you change cause im really thinking about getting it
@@L.A.M.P1 I turned on Overdrive and freesync In the monitors menu. It makes a considerable difference with ghosting.
@@L.A.M.P1what kind of monitor do you have?
@@stfuitsjuan7119 i did have the 24-inch alienware monitor but since its broke im thinking about getting the 34-inch curved monitor
So the E3 and the E4 are basically the same?
That iMessage bubble visible from space really caught me off guard 😂
i've had the koorui 27e6qc for around half a year now and its still working great so if this one is anything similar its a great buy
Do you use it just for gaming or for work as well? Looking one for photo/video editing.
My laptop only has hdmi ports (lenovo legion 5) but it says in the manual that one of the ports can handle display port 1.2 using an adapter. Do you think it's possible with this monitor?
Does anyone know if the 27 inch 1080p 165hz monitor from koouri is the same thing as this one except bigger?
Can I connect my keyboard and mouse to this mointor?
I got the 27 inch QHD 170 hz one for 190 usd. All i can say is that its been amazing.
But the DP cable that comes out of the box seems to be faulty for me. It always crashes everytime I try to open heavy load task. Is it also the case for you? Stuck with 144 hz hdmi for now
Yikes on the cable, glad you like the monitor though.
Do you think it’s a good cop for just console gaming?
Video recommendation for you Zach! I want to build a pc that doesnt have a bottlneck. I play games at 1080p and low competive setting. And i feel there are alot of people out there who do this to priortize fps. But all the youtubers are recommending good cpu and gpu combos for gaming at high graphic settings. So my question is if we competitive players should spend money on parts differently if we strictly want fps in games. Thank you :)
you gotta prioritize GPU.
can u trun a gaming moniter as a tv??? with speakers?? is there way to buy 3 hdmi ports?? for it
I have this exact monitor and one thing you missed is that the extreme overdrive mode is actually good, which is in my experience very rare.
When I got it I turned it to "normal" because that is the best for every monitor I've had, but I tried extreme a few weeks ago and it is noticeably clearer on the UFO test, which is very unexpected since usually the max overdrive mode introduces more ghosting (= bad ufo test result) but on this one it is honestly the best option to use.
All in all a huge improvement from my VA samsung 1440p144hz it replaced (broke during moving lol)
Does your monitor have in build sound to it ? Or you have to buy speakers for it ?
I have the same model as yours, but mine has a different stand on it. When I first tested it out, the colors were so bad that I needed to tweak them on the Amd's custom color.
Same, i probably have the same variant as yours different stand and awful colors out of the box. what's your card im stuck on 120 hrtz since using 144 or 165 make my card use max vram and causing high idle power and temps
Hi zach im looking to buy the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 (2023) FX507VV4 core i9-13900H 4060 8GB or the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 (2023) FX507ZI core i7-12700H 4070 8GB should i get the newer gpu laptop or the newer cpu one?
And they cost the same
Does it have speakers built in?
Very informational thank you!. I was wondering why I was only getting 144 hz, turns out I needed the display port lol
can u plz tell the best monitor for 1440p in around 200 dollars for 7800xt graphics card is any thing better plz mention
Am I able to make this as an external monitor for my gaming laptop?
I just checked on Amazon. Its up to 115.00 right now which is still good for everything you are getting.
Does it have in build sound with it ? Or you gotta boy speakers for it ?
Can you please explain why this and all the other reviews on this monitor it has a v shaped stand but on Amazon and koorui’s website it’s like a hexagon shaped stand. Are they the same? Just making sure before I buy
Hi zach, ill get a pc soon, can u plz tell what pc u used in this video?it looks great
broooo i have a 1440- 144hz and a 1080p 165hz of these monitors, and i have to say they r amazing. Would literally recommend them to anyone
What monitor you use for 1440p ?
I just ordered this one last night hopefully it arrived soon, got it for less than $99 after all the 12.12 vouchers and discounts.
Are these psu good?
Gamemax GX750 Modular
AQIRYS Magnetar
Might be getting this. unless you have a suggestion for a 1440p monitor for a little more??
Please tell me whats about the msi g244 e2
Where i live here is no gigabyte service centers so i cant take risk of purchasing gigabyte G24f2
love the vids is there any way you could make a budget mini pc
I just bought a KOORUI 27 Inch WQHD Monitor GN03. Waiting for delivery.
OMG! jUST SAW IT!!! Thank you so much for reviewing Koorui 24E3!😘😘😘

@@EternalGab I’ll let you know it will be here on the 17th.
@@EternalGab got it today, it's got a coating on the screen no one really talks about that. but overall it's a good pickup. I replaced my 27 Asus 4k 60hz with it for the 24 inch and the 165 hz. I paid $125 USD for it.. the base isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be...
Anyone know why i dont have the game option in the on screen display
whats a good gpu for my current build? currently im running 750w gold psu, ryzen 5 5600x and 16 gb ram. also only have a 1920x1080 60hz monitor, plan on getting a sceptre ips 24" 165 hz montior and a radeon rx 6750 xt, with this setup could I run some of the higher end games like dragons dogma 2, elden ring, sons of forest etc on ultra or atleast high with steady frames? i've never gamed beyond 60 fps
RX 6750 XT is definitely nice for gaming beyond 60FPS especially if you're only on 1080p i say you're good to go. though elden ring is capped at 60FPS
Is it compatible with the 6500
I've been using this monitor for days now and everything is amazing so far other than one issue not monitor issue but amd issue, I'm stuck on 120 hertz since using 144 or 165 makes my card use max vram even on idle which cause high temps and power consumption on idle. I'm using Rx 580 btw.
Could be a faulty port or limited data transfer, are you using hdmi or displayport? I don't know much about the rx580 but it might use hdmi 1.4 which could cause issues. Display port would be the better option if it's available.
Im using the display port which he said on the video display port 1.2
@@ikoo4027 ihrm well thats barely above a 1060 so its not really built for that. It may of been better money spent to upg the video card rather than a new monitor unless your old one broke
Guys im new to pc and i dont have much knowledge but i have a question.. I saw Ryzen 5 5600g apu have almost same performance as a gtx 750ti so my question is will i get better input delay if i use gtx 750ti instead of the vega or it will be the same ???
I just finished building my setup, this monitor was the one I used after watching multiple videos about it. 2 days have passes... I was playing Cs2 and it began flickering and then the screen went black. Nothing I did worked. Read some reddit reviews on it, and turns out this is very common with this monitor. Will be returning it.

Should i pair this up with the 500$ amazon prime pc? Or which budget pc should i pair this up with?
Which one do i buy, this koorui 24e3 or 240hz monitor for 100 dollars. I am swirhcing from 60hz
Does this monitor come with speakers built into it
Any help appreciated
Nah
Is there a display cable included?
Is this just for gaming or can I work from home on this ?
Does this support freesync on hdmi?
I'm a halo dad as well and looking into a monitor for my xbox series s. Would this monitor work well for the Series S? I have never bought a monitor but use a basic 60Hz monitor. I know nearly nothing about these things.
I’m so buying this! I currently have a vga 1080p60hz monitor
This is very cheap in my country. I'm looking forward to buy it but. I'm saving, which one should I buy first? Psu, gpu, or monitor?
I'm wondering if koorui monitors are better than aoc? Also wondering if I'll need to upgrade my gpu if I'm going from 1080p 75hz with a 3060 to 1080p 165hz or if I should go for 1440p 75hz
If you're playing competitive titles the 3060 will most likely be enough.
Go for the 1080p165, 3060 is totally fine for 1440p aswell but I'd advise you to go for 1440p144 if you really want 1440p (and have the money for it, they're about 200$), I ran that on a 2060 before it broke when I was moving lol
So that a 24 inch 100hz 1080p monitor works optimally as it should, what is the best combo of VGA, CPU and MOBO to use?
I get it for 89$ here in my country. Not a bad of a deal considering the budget
Bro ! Your video is 🔥
Is the fidio monitor a good monitor for gaming 120fps
Are the pixels good? I am currently using a LG gaming monitor or something (idk if its gaming but it works). Its really good except (as in its almost perfect) but if I try to play games or watch anime or something I can notice the pixels because of the obvious quality drop during intense anime fights with great animation. So I was just wondering if i would notice that on that computer or not.
that has more to do with the resolution, try 1440p its amazing
could you try to review a budget 4k 144hz monitor ?
What about a if you connect gaming laptop
the monitor gods of TH-cam are hardware unboxed and their channel specifically for monitors... Monitors unboxed. As much as I like Optimum tech nothing comes close to HUBs reviews.
Yeah you’ve got a point
Hardware unboxed monitor reviews are very technical and I find them to be too much information. I just want to know if it's a good monitor. Alot of the time they give you results that are just meaning less to me.
@@Jwalker76 And that's why they are best... They give cold hard facts and question the marketing claims to see if they are true and that you are getting your moneys worth. Just saying it is good is not a good review, its poor even for those that want a short review. This monitor is good because I say it looks good is terrible.
fan of both channels, especially since proud Aussie represent, but somewhat of an unfair comparison
Optimum does content all alone, whilst HUB is a whole team with much higher budget and can/has the ability to afford better equipment for testings etc
@@peepeepoopoo2973 I was only saying who the monitor gods were lol. Optimum is great and I always watch his vids including all his monitor vids even if HUB did a vid on it. Both are amazing channels.
24 or 27 Zoll for 1080p ?

what are your thoughts on the websites that show if a PC can run a certain game?, i need a reliable one please
the most reliable website for that is definitely youtube. just type in the CPU+GPU+game title.

There’s another one in fact they have multiple that they go up and down on the prices with maybe you should try reviewing the others

I'd recommend a rx6600 GPU

I've never had a dead pixel either and I've been through a lot of monitors.
The only time i had a dead pixel was when i bought a used monitor from eBay. Luckily there were free returns so i just returned it
On the website, the specs say it's a 65hz refresh rate 12ms latency. Now I'm scared to buy it :(
Does it have 2.0 hdmi?
Is there a way to bypass the max 120 and get the 165 hz on console
You can’t bypass it, the console only produced 120. The monitor can display 165 but the console only makes 120
only issue is the screen with the stand is so damn wobbly
Does it work on xbox series s?
When I connect to Xbox it says out of range, PLEASE HELP
I just started using this monitor but it doesn’t have any sound
You should review their 2440p 240hz monitor
can you costumize your crosshair
plz help, how to know if your pc parts will work together??
the only way is through extensive research, you'll eventually know which part works with which part. the fastest way is to just mimic what pc builder like zach did
Try the Redmi G24 Gaming, it has same specs as the Koorui but retails at 120$ and goes for sale at 80$

Love your videos, keep up the good work! I have a doubt, is it better to have a 27 1080p 240hz or a 1440p at 144hz? It´s mostly to play competitive games such as Valorant.
240hz
what about this versus the msi g2412?

I have a bomb heading off but before s year ago to try out PC gaming I bought a $75 Optiplex with a i5 8500 and through a 3080 on it in a open air test bench. Take it line that for 3 months before getting a 12th gen system. But I researched my area and that victus desktop sells for $500 in east usa
Whats this Gsync and Free sync?
I have a question... Does using a lower end monitor waste the gpu's potential? I have a 60 Hz 24' 1080p Samsung Monitor, and I'm using it with a pc with an RX6750XT in it. Should I upgrade the monitor?
i mean yea, by "lower end monitor" i'm assuming not only the monitor have low refresh rate but also low color accuracy. i do suggest upgrading according to your use case.
even if you're not aiming for 100fps gaming, monitor with excellent color accuracy would be an upgrade nonetheless
Depends on what you mean by "wastes potential". It doesn't hurt performance at all, but those high fps numbers you're pushing out with the 6750XT would definitely look and feel better on a 144+ hz monitor
Hi guys, I'm planning on putting a GTX 1060 6GB OEM into a Dell optiplex 7020 MT the recommended psu for the gpu is 300 and I'm pretty sure the pc has 290. Would this be a safe upgrade? Cuz I kinda don't want the pc exploding.
i say it's pretty safe but you can research first on YT there're lots of channel doing optiplex upgrade using gtx 1060 and see what their opinions on it. though if at the end you're still not sure, you can undervolt it
Compatible with ps5 120hz?
Already back at 115, which still isn’t bad
