@@williamtseng lol its def my favorite of all time, It used to be American psycho, but after watching this movie the amount of times I did, I fell in love with it. Fr man, I even watched this movie multiple times, cause every time u see this movie, u see it with a slightly new perspective and u catch some of the details and we’re missed.
I love videos like this. Because they make you consider a lot of the important and beautiful aspects of filmmaking that are mostly abounded from film discussion; even in the reviews. Thank You
Kinda disappointed that he didn’t talk about the choice of clothing for Kat. Since the actress is so tall and has such long legs, I heard they specifically tailored clothing for her to enhance that and make her look even more slender than she already is, i.e. showing her legs more and high heels, long overcoats that go down all the way to her knees, etc.
@@aplhaweb yeah unfortunately it is. It’s such an important part of filmmaking but it sadly goes unnoticed and gets overlooked in the industry. I read that fun fact about Kat on IMDB I think.
interesting to hear about the difference between the protagonist and neil's suits. when i saw the movie i thought neil's suits were a clue he was from a different time to the protagonist. shawl collar suit jackets, approaching miami vice fit on both the trousers and jacket. hair? model's own obvs.... good video.

This film has so much thought and effort behind it that it’ll take TEN years of your reversed time(thats 20 years total) to find all little details. ps: the score of the movie whenever they showed reversed time sequences all the digital and real instruments are played in reverse too.
I don't know...Each Christopher Nolan film looks as if he simply says, "Make them look like they're in a cologne, or expensive watch ad". Everyone always looks upper class. At this point, if it's not a period piece, you can bet your ass Nolan will repeat this aesthetic.
Does anybody know what kind of jacket protagonist wore over a t-shirt, when he got caught by sator at the ship while spying... It looks light weight and thin.
@@davidnavarro4821 I do think it was a choice and a good device for storytelling. I just think it was too drastic/ heavy handed and not subtle enough and we didn’t see enough of a transition.
I recall noticing that “Neil” first appeared disheveled, with a worn and wrinkled linen suit. Then I learned later that the costume person said that Neil by nature is a slob and doesn’t really care about his appearance. It’s only when he has to portray a wealthy art collector that he dresses the part.
This was not the movie to watch if your parents like to ask “what’s happening?”

Saw it 8 times in theaters. Super grateful for Warner bros and Christopher for existing

Oh my goodness... the attention to detail with making the suits “go the right way” depending whether a character is inverted or not is mind-blowing
So glad I saw this movie in theaters. It needed to be seen on a big SCREEN✨💯
Absolutely!
could you hear the dialogue tho

Filmmakers will often reuse crew members they got along with on previous projects. I've worked with several of the same people myself.

Loved all The Protagonist's suits and coats, particularly the dark blue and black outfits which were personal favourites.
That voice caught me off guard tbh
Neil was throwing fits left and right

Nolan: Put some extra scarf on Neil, not on Protagonist
Fashion designer: But why?
Nolan: To make Neil's part a little dramatic..

0:17 damn, this suit that Neil's wearing is so sharp
Neil's style 🔥
Robert Pattinson hits as Neil-
you can totally how the protagonists jumpsuit and gear was tapered, awesome to know it was intentional.
Robert looks so handsome
I watched this movie backwards and understood it.

The costume design and cinematography made this movie look like the most ambitious cologne ad of all time.
The man behind Neil's scarfs.
I very much would like to see more content like this

Neil is stylish like his mother Kat
Decent theory. I’ve wondered the same thing since I watched it the first time.

Character personality in tenet? Did we see the same movie?
Me Washington looked very poorly tailored. I can see it was a choice but he just looked uncomfortable in his suits. Near to no personality.
It was deliberate. Remember when Michael Caine’s character mocks the Protagonist’s suit.

Well, the characters in TENET don't have personalities, so shouldn't they all be naked?
