We spent the day exploring Franschhoek winelands using the infamous Franschhoek Wine Tram, Hop-on Hop-off Experience. Whether you love wine like me (Jessica) or are simply out for a good time like me (Doug), it is the PERFECT affordable activity to explore South Africa at its finest. From wine tasting, cellar tours, delicious cuisine, and scenic views, simply hop-on and off the tram to continue your journey along Franschhoek Valley.
Each of the eight tram routes cost only 280rand/16usd/14gbp allowing you to visit a selection of wine estates, each showcasing a unique experience of the Franschhoek Valley. The Hop-on Hop-off experience allows you to plan your day, from which vineyards you visit to how long you spend at each spot.

Jess, although you cover three very good wineries in Cape Town, the best by far is ad-hoc off the “Blue Route” of the “Hop on Bus “ tour at Groop Constantia where for R180 pp you get possibly the best wine tasting possible - hth
