I am so green with envy right now. You guys are awesome and I love your little bloopers at the end of each video. I need to move to the Western Cape. I love trains and so those trams look so enticing. Those spectacular mountains are stunning, but nothing beats the Drakensburg.
We don't drink much wine but would still gladly do this tour. Jamie would love the chocolates and I'm positive I could find at least one wine at each place I'd enjoy. Just seeing the countryside on the tram looks like such a good time. We would love exploring the wineries as well. The tasting room with the giant barrels at Blacksburg (aka Chantal's new dance studio) was so cool. Our favorite part of this video though may have been watching Chantal so sophisticatedly try to pronounce the wines 😅. She did much better than I would have!
Thanks guys! The trip is definitely worth it, even if you are not big wine drinkers. There are still lots of restaurants with good cold beer😅😁. The farms are so beautiful that you could even use this service to just explore this beautiful part of South Africa. You have to love Chantals dance studio! 🤣🤣🤣
Oh my gosh this looks like such a fun tour! We definitely had to pour a couple of glasses to watch this one 🍷🍷All the vineyards were beautiful! Love the cute tram too. You guys had a really nice view from your table at Allee Bleue 👍
Thanks guys. It was such an amazing day out. Far to much wine, but completely worth it😁. The views when traveling between the wine farms was breathtaking. We also had a few glasses while watching it😅
This is such a clever and unique concept! Love the idea of hopping on and off a tram at different wine farms, even though we know nothing about wine other than that we like most of them! 😋🍷You two sound like pros explaining the wines! Love the views and the open tram windows too. Great to see you guys topped up with some food to keep you going with all that wine! 🤪
Thanks guys. We definitely learnt a lot on this trip. We were not that clued up on wine before we researched the trip😅. We do however love wine and this trip was so much fun!😁
Love this idea of a wine tram! The views from the tram and amazing! I can't believe how many lines there are. You would never get bored trying a new line every day and having a very drunk week most likely. Lol, the quantity of bloopers shows how much all those tastings affected you guys! Great tips though!
Thanks guys. There are so many wine farms that you have to pace yourself and drink lots of water between the farms. The idea is to take it easy do you can get to all the farms😅. The views were so amazing!
Hahahahahahaha!!! It looks very beautiful there! I'd love to go and taste your wines but just staying away from getting drunk, Hahahaha!! You guys love it I guess? Cool, but it is very nice with all you great views and the original style of the place there. Thank you guys for sharing and shows us around. Congratulations! Sayonarah Guys!!! God bless You!
Fabulous video!!!!!! Wow! Love the idea of a tram (no worry of driving & drinking), the scenery was just stunning!!!! You two crack us up with your bloopers 🤣! Please share where you purchased your beautiful dress, looked lovely on you! ~Cara 😊
Thanks John and Cara. It was so convenient having the busses and trams taking you to all the farms. We would have never visited so many different farms if it wasn't for the organized trip. Those bloopers! 🤣🤣. I will get Chantal to share with you where she got her dress😁. Thanks for watching.
This is so so cool! We've seen brewery and wine tour busses but never trams! Such a fun idea, we would totally want to do this! Love the opening shot with the train going over the camera, very creative! I really liked the second estate where you spent a chuck of time with the chocolate pairings but its cool that you could tour the cellar. Definitely a good idea to research the vineyard and pick the tour that has the best suited ones. Love the extended bloopers!
Thanks guys. We also didn't know that they had trams running tours through the wine farms. It was so much fun and something we will definitely go back and do again soon😁. That wine farm you are talking about is Boschendal and is our absolute favorite 😁😁
That shot at the start!!!! You guys are brave lol!!! No way i'd be putting my camera there lol... Sitting next to the vineyards is gorgeous! I don't really drink but i'd still love to do this activity. The wine tram looks beautiful, I love that its all open with no windows. Great tips for anyone who wants to visit! Hahahaha you guys must of been drunk as i've never seen you have that many bloopers haha!!
Thanks Millie. We were a little nervous letting the train go over the camera, but the shot came out nice😁. The trip is definitely worth it even if you don't drink and wanted to take in the beauty of the farms nestled between beautiful mountain ranges. I definitely think there was a direct relation between to much wine and too many bloopers. 😂😂😂
Omg how did you leave your camera underneath the train?! You warned us and said "watch the video with a glass of wine" and I should have listened. Now I want wine so bad! What a wonderful trip! Also I admire you for not getting too tipsy to continue hosting this video. 😅
That GoPro will survive anything😅. The trip was so amazing. The wine farms in that part of South Africa are so beautiful. We will have to do another wine farm trip so you guys can enjoy the next one with a glass of wine. Thanks for watching 😁
You guys are on the road to becoming celebrated vloggers! This vlog was really personalised as if the person watching this was themselves there experiencing all of it! Great job on controlling the drunk faces at the end.
Hi Siddharth, thank you so much for your comment, it really means a lot 🙏 we’re glad that the video felt personalized, we always want our viewers to feel like they’re there with us 😊
OMG! So funny! You guys, Ruth and Thomas, Kelby and Adam all did a train video this week! We love it! Loving the wine graphics at the bottom! So creative and perfect for this video! Didn't know that Blanc Noir is your favorite. Mine is probably Pinot Noir and Malbec or Chiraz. Bernard's is Chardonnay. HAHA. Y'all becoming sommeliers!!! 7 minutes in and I feel only with 3 wine farms we'd be so drunk already! Loving the whole experience. Random comment, but Wedee's birthday is CHRISTMAS! Bloopers are hilarious! After awhile it all just starts to go a little downhill! 3 TAKES, WE'RE IN SOUTHAFRICAN WINE COUNTRY! HAHA. So precious!
Thank you so much. So many train videos in the same week😅. We really appreciate the kind words. We definitely had lots of water and food between the farms to not get too typsy😂. It was such a fun day out with so much amazing wine! Those bloopers even made us laugh🤣🤣.
A wine tram that takes you to different wineries!?!? I am so there! Omg, you guys looked like you had the best time. This actually reminds me of the wine train in Napa. All the wineries are unique and beautiful and the views are just gorgeous. Wine tasting under a 300 year old oak tree sounds delightful. I love the description of the chardonnay as "light and dangerous." Haha. The bloopers are great...now I definitely need a glass of wine!
Thanks April. A wine tram is the best idea ever. We had so much fun and didn't have to drive anywhere. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. It's something you have to do if you ever find yourself in this part of the world. You deserve a glass of wine for watching the video.😁 🍷
The Bloopers killed us, imagine each vlog we filmed we were a little drunk - hahahaha !! Guys, this video was FANTASTIC. We are so happy we got to see how things work with the wine tram in Franshoek, you now defs made us want to go there. We weren't lucky to get to try this while were in the Cape Town area BUT we need to make a plan and go back. Now i really am craving a proper glass of wine (Kelby) haha gotta wait a few months first and then I might need to watch this video again pretending I am there. Take care guys and have a great long weekend ♥ One love
Thanks guys😁. We had such a good laugh watching these bloopers. You definitely have to go on the wine tram on your next trip to the Western Cape. Shame Kelby. You will be back on the wine soon! 😅. Thanks for the awesome comment😁
Love the place you stayed too and a nice host you had as it sounds like. I really enjoyed this video guys! Your editing got so much better too! Hahaha bloopers are on point 😆
This activity is right up my alley! I love that the tram takes you around so you can just enjoy the experience. I have no idea why there might be more bloopers than usual 🤣 I think you guys should do more wine tours 🤣
@@BeingBedingfield Franschoek is beautiful but even more beautiful is the Paarl/Wellington area. Paarl has the second largest rock in world ( Paarl Rock) and Wellington has South Africas first mountain pass ( Bains Kloof Pass). You should do a video here. Stunning sceneries.
OMG you two 😂 We love our wine! We're team Red 🍷but we've never done a tour and this just makes us want to go on one now!!!! All the pairings sounded amazing YUMMMM
Thank you so much! You guys have to go on this trip. It is definitely the best way to go wine tasting. Nobody has to drive and you can see so many different wine farms in the same day😁
@@BeingBedingfield I really loved how the trains/trams go between the wineries. Hopefully its something we can add to our SA list. We're visiting an Australian wine area soon so I think we'll have to look up some closer to home to start with

Hello. With the franshoek wine tram, Do you have to stay for 35 mins or can you stay for longer and catch the next tram?
Hi, you can stay as long as you like 😊 but if you stay longer at some places, you’ll probably have to skip 1 or 2 other stops.
