Thank you Linda ❤️ the crow family are so intelligent and interesting to watch aren't they? I have a flock of 6 magpies that visit my garden and I just love watching them. They're currently moulting at the moment, so I'm hoping I'll find some of the feathers before my dog does lol.
So cute! I'm currently working on some bird paintings too, so this video was very timely :) I'm super looking forward to some gouache dragons, and also, yes to all the other suggestions
Thank you Zoe ❤️ painting birds is the best! You can be quite expressive with the mediums used or be super tight with details. Always an interesting subject to tackle!
I've missed working with gouache, I've got the one I mentioned done and will be starting another soon (in between the lino printing obsession lol)
Ahhhh! And the polymer clay, I have an idea for what I'm going to make, ooooh can I pull it off lol

Ohhh I love that birdy, I wasn't expecting you to use them this way but it's so good.
Dragons will always be my fave, but I do really love drawing crows, less practice with them though so yours is great inspiration as usual.
No I'm not a summer person either, I cannot bear it when it's way to hot but you have to be somewhere. I'd rather it be cold lol 😅😊💚

With most subjects and techniques, it's all about practice and learning from each piece made and where to take it next.
Summer is taking a little break where I am! There's been lots of lovely heavy rain with the occasional thunderstorm. So this week I can't complain lol
You are right though. We have to be somewhere even in the summer 😅🤭🤭
You are so creative. I created a trippy skull- kinda like an acid trip colored haha. Loved the raven. Another great creation 😁

That crow really looks magical.Was sceptical at first due to the different coliurs, but the black reduced it to a nice shine. it adds interest, but it's not too much. I am happy with everything you share with us. You are creating totally different things from what I do, so I appreciate a look "outside of the box".

I was a little unsure how the liner pen would dissolve in the water, but the transparency worked out just right to layer up.
Thank you for your kindness and feedback, I love tinkering with lots of different things and I wish I had more time to do so. Hopefully if I film it I can justify it too 🥰
You know you can get this watercolor inks in inkwells, right? I know, scrawlr box gifthorse and all. :) But I quiet like having both, the pens and the inkwells/bottled liquid watercolor. You can dip the tip of the pens into another color or distilled water with a few drops of glycerin and blend out the color on the paper. A technique not just interesting for calligraphy artists, though it was a calligraphy artist who got me first interested in the ecoline product line, who used the inkwells with a broad poster nip and the pens and a fine liner brush in combination.
Thanks for sharing an interesting application. with giving the bird a richer black with the colors first. I enjoyed watching you create.
Thank you silkeschumann ♥️ ooooh yes I do! I have some bottles within my supplies, I'd featured them on the channel ages ago and I think I may have to dig them out again. I'd like to play about with them alongside the markers.
