Katy, this has to be absolutely my favourite painting you've ever done! It's gorgeous, the colours and the detail are just "chefs kiss". There's something about an atmospheric background to a painting that gets me every time. Hope you're doing okay. Jxx
Beautiful painting Katy. An urban village is a bit of an oxymoron I think, so in my opinion, you did right with your interpretation. I’ve subscribed to your channel for over a year now, but I think this may well be my first comment. I do always like 👍🏻 your videos, and the algorithm likes that kind of interaction too. Sorry, I’m a waffles! Rembrandt watercolours are a favourite of mine. The are artist quality, have a lovely range of, I would say, traditional colours, and the price is very reasonable, especially the tubes, so if anyone new to watercolours received this box, I think they would feel encouraged to investigate a little more. Well, it may be my first comment, but ummm… a tad long I would say. All the best, and a bit of an awkward hug (I’m Scottish - hugging is hard!!) 😂 ❤️🖌🎨👩🏻🎨❤️

Oh, I love this piece, Katy! 😍 The colors together are gorgeous and I agree that the red stands out perfectly against the dark and moody background. I think you actually nailed the theme with the mushrooms...they definitely resemble a village. I was pretty uninterested when I opened this box since I already have most of these supplies and I'm always looking for something unique in an art subscription box. However, I can't deny that the products work very well with each other : )

I love watercolors so I’m enjoy watching these videos. Totally agree about the tiny brush. At minimum they should give a size 4 brush. Mushroom village, this is the adult version of the Smurfs who live in a mushroom house.
I like the orange colour pencil added I nice like shine of light to the piece 😍. Also the watercolors seem to be very high quality. I like the granulation and deepness 😍. You nailed it.. I can see a nice balance between details and looseness 😍. The highlights are making it perfect 👌🏻

The paints are gorgeous (I'm going to have to squeeze some into some pans and add to a palette) that indigo 😍 This was a well put together box. I'm glad you enjoyed watching 🥰
Lovely design! I do appreciate those super close-up views which I know makes it a little tricky to paint while a camera is probably in the way. Luscious colors and velvety paper. Nice! At least all the watercolors have been a bit different (sheets, pans, tubes) which gives a little different painting experience and you can choose which suits you best. Maybe WC pencils are next 😄
Thank you Diane ❤️ omg thank you! Adding a couple of different angles can be a little tricky sometimes ( I sometimes hit the camera with the brush handle 🤣) but it's worth it! I really enjoyed playing with the goodies and thought it was a great box! Haha yes I'm sure it'll be WC pencils next 🤣🤣🤣

Ohhh I love this little mushroom village! I'm not bothered at all about another watercolour box, and I suspect the idea of this box was that you're expected to mix the watercolour with the white gouache as well? Also, I much prefer watercolour boxes rather than the markers boxes from Scrawlrbox ...
not gonna lie, I would have loved all the watercolour boxes. If I resubscribe now, will the watercolours stop coming though? Love your mushroom village
