    Perfect tutorial! Just one question: Is the leveling and measuring always necessary, even if I only need a virtual tour and no floorplan?

      In our experience, leveling actually saves a lot of time when building tours. Without leveling, it's hard to get panos to align properly together. Measuring for every pano is only necessary if you want your measurements to be as accurate as possible. Otherwise, it's fine to just measure your lens height and input that.

    hi, how can i export the model to autocad?

    This is exactly what I needed to know, you got yourself a new customer here. Additionally, which file format could be imported to sketchup?

    • @metarealstage
      @metarealstage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello Eytan! We are glad you liked the feature. You can import the DXF format file in Sketchup. Please note that exporting the floor plan in DXF or SVG format is available for Professional and up subscription users for now. Also, you can export the 3D model as an OBJ or FBX file, but this option is only available upon request right now as it is currently an experimental feature. We can give you access so you can try it out.
      Here you can find more information regarding the supported file formats for Sketchup: help.sketchup.com/en/sketchup/using-sketchup-data-other-modeling-programs-or-tools

    the corridor and bathroom construction was shown as 3D construction. Is the export result in dxf also a 3D construction? It was not to see at the end of the video.

      DXF export is currently 2D only. If you want 3D, we can also export to FBX. This is still a beta feature though, and only added upon request. If you'd like to try FBX export, just send us a message through support and we'll add it to your account.

    How much quicker is this compared to the current way of making floor plans, please?

    • @metarealstage

      That depends what your current method is - but users tell us it is orders of magnitude quicker in terms of time on site.

    How to delete a level line?
    How to align panorama so I can find any vertical line?

    • @metarealstage
      @metarealstage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just click on the level line, and press DELETE on your keyboard

    Of course I know Metareal Stage is in Beta statium of development and not all is to expect. But only 2 things I would comment. After the calibration,so it is to see in the video, the program show not a reaction like a zoom or reduction of the construction and pano. I would expect it. So I can see whether the program has understand what I want.
    At my home the width of the wall between corridor and living room is ca. 40cm. The door is not in the middle of the wall or on the corridor side but on the living room side. In the video I see that the position of the door is not quite correct and it is not possible to direct within the wall. Where the wall begins begins the door. Others it is not possible. In the 2D floorplan is to see that the width of walls is differently. Probably the width of the wall is depend from the width of the door. Is it correct what I write?

      Hi Andreas, Because doors often have complex mouldings, sometimes it is important to project from the actual door to the plane of the wall when adding a door in Metareal Stage, so it can seem from an angle if the door is misplaced, but in fact, it is correct, just projected intot he plane of the wall from the door position. I hope that helps!

    I tried for 5 days to get a project done by this company, I requested numerous updates by message without even a reply from them. when I eventually got someone to reply to my message I got this reply
    "Listen bud, it's 9pm - I sent a request to the production team, cooked supper and did homework with the kids. I'll check if they've responded".
    A real professional reply to a customer isnt it.
    we are a professional real estate photography and video Company who has about 350 real estate clients, I was using Matterport 5 years ago and we have been producing 360 tours for clients ever since. We were hoping to start using this company in the future for producing our interactive tours but It seems that they have to carry out their production work to produce the tours in between cooking super and helping with the kids homework.
    You really cant rely on this Company to produce your work which in turn reflects directly on your business.

    You totally lost me with your reasoning behind the measuring tape. I've seen so far 3 or 4 of your videos and you guys don't do a great job in explaining things.
