Yes you can do that. Just create a transparent PNG and save that as the hotspot. Then you can use a polygon hotspot to designate the area that can be clicked. Another option is to use google street view (3d vista can upload to street view as well). With street view, the hotpsots are invisible, like this sample: goo.gl/maps/Njt1SizqGssdGot16

Hi Daniel. You can upload the tour to your own website via FTP, then it becomes accessible just like any webpage. Or you can give the file to your customer and they can upload it to their own website. Depending on your country, one or two tours should be enough to pay for the cost of 3DVista. I really love the extensive features offered in 3d vista but while exploring their site I found the sample tours laggy, has anyone had any issues with this? I have a fairly powerful computer setup & good internet
Hi Daniela. Yes you can use GoPro Fusion for tours with 3DVista. The videos can be edited with Davinci and then you add hotspots with 3DVista. BTW I already tested for the virus and the test showed negative result :)
@@360vroomers hahaha Fusion is Like aftereffects but better. I have a GoPro still but do not use IT realy. Fusion have real 3D. For me the most interesting Part is to make virtual worlds for the Moment. But in a way you do Not See ITS virtual. I grade Looks from 4k down to old Indie film grain to give them a realistic Look of the 70ies Cinematic Films of 16mm analog. Is for my colorgrading DaVinchi certificate AS trainer.
@@360vroomers no, windows blocks installation. I wrote to 3Dvista, replied. they also thought it could be antivirus. I provided screenshot. I didn't hear back from them after that. I hope they are working on it.
Hi Muhammad. You can edit photos before adding them to the tour. 3dvista is a desktop app not a cloud service like matterport. You then upload the tour to your server.

Hi Petro. When you create a 3D Vista tour, you upload it to your own website. As long as you have FTP access, it should work. Then you convert the URL to an tag and insert that on your wordpress page. I hope this helps.

Thanks John! Re hosting with 3D Vista, mostly it is out of convenience for people who don't have their own website, or who don't know how to use FTP, or who don't have FTP access. Re standalone player it is useful if for example you want to put your virtual tour on a thumbdrive to give a way as a promotion, or the client is presenting the tour somewhere with slow internet and they want to make sure that it plays smoothly. Offline can also load videos more quickly.

Doesn’t have to be super fast but the higher the photo resolution, the more memory you need. I recommend contacting 3dvista to be sure.

I would recommend looking into a seperate hosting domain to host your tours. I have done a video on my TH-cam channel about how to do this. 👍

Yes it can, or a mix. The issue is that if you use self hosting then for 360 videos, the bandwidth could be expensive.
