Yeah from what I heard the orginal uploader took the song from a tape and randomly named it Pass the Bong cause he didn't know the actual name of the song eas Young Chou Lin. Deaner saw the uploaded song and his only comment was soemthing along the lines of "Pass the Bong is an awful title" but didn't actually say what the real title of the song was so it couldn't be corrected until later. That's what I heard anyways don't quote me on that.
@@RayzedUpyeah, that’s the basic gist of it. Someone gave a placeholder title to Young Chou Lin without knowing the real title and Mickey commented saying the name sucked but nothing more. It’s probably the most common incorrect Ween song title so I included it as a sticker to dispel the fake title even more.
This is the same recording as the online one but correct speed and sourced from a new, better quality copy. So same song, same version, different tape source and repairs.
If we really want the best of this band to come?!?!!!!? Then you have to give them the freedom to fail, epically in every regard, FAIL?!?; The reality is that they have built such a massive bubble of nostalgia that traps their own creativity and all of us and how amazing it was instead of how amazing it could be BUT More importantly, that they don't owe any of us s***(If you're an actual wean fan then you are so goddamn f****** thankful. For the better part of your entire life. They have given you the greatest music possible while everyone else was offering more of the same. B*******.. If we're super lucky, after the hardest shittiest years for most bands and or any organization on Earth, they will give us something new. If we have to endure everything, meaning, absolutely no show dates, failures on site, new songs to go nowhere, it doesn't f****** matter. They've given us so much that they're owed the opportunity to f****** for 10 more years before we even consider seeing. Maybe that's the last bit of genius that abandon's giving us so much f****** genius is entitled to get the benefit of a display. How much f****** genius they've already given us!! F****** seriously, but has any of these other bands have done other than two or three songs that are the best and they've relived for 3 decades. When I go do a wean show, no one asked play the hits because there are none. That's because every single f****** song is amazing and can be sung by the entire f****** audience. That's a totally different situation. You should be respected. No way that nobody other than someone who respects the power of the boognish can understand fully. I was supposed to have my first week off in over 4 months of working every single day after my wife left me (she said the ween Las Vegas show last year was the last straw LOL). Plus, many of my own b******* that is nobody 's fault but my own...... still, I can't stress how important I think it is that we fail at an epic level together!!! It's the least m************ thing we can do and still not quite enough to give back for everything they've given us for decades, a great personal expense to themselves and their family members, as well as band and all of the s*** that comes at the expense of great art, which is what they have provided. Once again, just to reiterate, I can't describe how important and empathy's f****** guys are and how important is it we support them. Yes I get how hard it's been to plan your entire summer round your favorite band just to see it f****** go up in smoke at the worst goddamn f****** possible time BUT Holy f*** can you imagine how hard it is for this s*** to be going down in your own circle after 40 years of challenges, but they've never stopped once. Just to remind everyone, they're not f****** millionaires?!?!? We need to remind the boys that they have all of our love, all of it and that we're SOOO f****** thankful for all the joy they've given us and we understand that s*** happens!!!!!! This is my love letter to this band, I can't, quantify enough how much I love this fucking band. @@beatleslover2272 no, she wanted to come to Las Vegas and I said that it wasn't a regular trip where we would spend time together and I would do whatever she wanted to make sure that she was happy. It was 3 days of partying with friends of mine and skateboarding which she was already not a fan of. I told her not to come if that was going to be a problem but she said it would be fine. By day three it was not fine but I didn't know until a month later and she said that was not what she wanted. There's a bunch of other s*** going on like my father dying and a whole bunch of other s***. I'd support her for 5 years and all I asked was that this was going to be my 3-day blowout after working months in a row again. Still, had I had to do it over again. I definitely would pick my wife but that's not how life is. It just sucks and you have to take what you can get when you can get it.
As someone who is half deaf in their right ear I am saddened by the lack of mono audio lol I want to hear the vocals better like the old shit quality one.
