Only a noob or someone with a very limited knowledge of bands from that time would say something like that. These guys are good but to say they're "better" than all of the 80's bands as a whole? Gimme a break. Who do you think inspired these guys in the first place? Where do you think thsy got their sound [and even look, as well]? P.S. These guys are more Post Punk than Goth. Maybe you've been comparing them to the wrong genre?
