Not to joke even my 4 year old PA 300 can completely change the sound dimensions to unbelievable Heights..Korg factory sounds and styles are made to sound like a plastic toy, but the moment we realize that it gives flexibility for editing each and every detail....It becomes a masterpiece🔥..I myself have edited n number of styles and sounds to drums to make it sound live...Can't joke around..Korg is korg
Recently I am buying yamaha sx700 and it's sounds is very good specialy piano, strings, guitar ets..flut, violin it's more realistic afte editing....i am very happy... thank you yamaha.❤❤
I sold the pa700 couple years ago and bring the sx900 home once she launch. Never look back .
Sx700 is good go for that
While I like those comparison videos, I think that there is more to compare than voices and styles.
Plus the technology used in either was not released at the same time. The Sx700 will have newer technology than the Pa700 so not really a fair comparison

Say whatever....Yamaha has a sound that is soothing to the ears.....Korg is also good but I prefer Yamaha over any other because of the richness of sound
After listen to Pa5X, i highly recommend it is a ultimate upgrade for Pa700 owner.
I really want to play the Korg pa700 keyboard and the Korg pa1000 keyboard, but because I'm blind I can't play the keyboard because it uses a touch screen, what can I do? Would korg make a keyboard similar to that and not use a touch screen?
I am an amaroriale, I like to compose songs with the keyboard sequencer, mine is the fun of a music lover. I am undecided whether to take this keyboard or the Yamaha PSR SX900, what do you recommend?
Are these two comparable? The Korg is almost 50% more expensive here in India.

Yamaha's factory sounds are more realistic. Also, in terms of chords Yamaha is great and almost capable of recognizing all chords when fingered on bass is chosen; not too sure about Korg.
Yamaha only for players switch on and play but Korg I have pa 700 it's beast 💪I'm not using factory style..I make my self own style and if I record example drums in variation 1i can record 6 difrent variations of drums CV1 up to CV6.. or bass all 7 instruments. I can choose any chords but lots people don't understand this
You realize that not everyone wants to do that, right?
I am a Yamaha sx700 user, even i dont use factory styles, i use to create styles, but problem with korg is, tones are so electronic, while yamaha gives a natural sounds. the operating system is very simple and easy navigation. Creating a style and music production in yamaha takes significantly less time compared to korg. if you are live performer, Yamaha is best for live shows.
Maturity is when you realise both Yamaha sx700 and korg pa700 has feature for creating voice and styles, but yamaha has more advanced sound engines, in grand piano and guitar of yamaha they can produce acoustic metalic string sound, which is not available in korg
Yamaha sounds better with more depth and realism. The Korg sounds less classy.

Both are fine, i had the same problem , so i order both and try , for me was sx700 best choice , and i know there are alot of sounds and song for yamaha free download, witch make it more fun . But with Korg you can do more .
yamaha ha ssuch aviiger user base , and so much more free stuff for it, styles !!
Can you please do a like for like style comparison . From previous yamaha psr's vs korg pa700 the yamaha's seem to have better chord recognition where the korg seems to lag behind unless you change chord on an exact beat !

Could anyone please help to choose a keyboard ? My requirement is to create music and record to USB. Creating music includes adjusting sounds, recording different instruments sounds to track and export to USB. I know I should use a DAW software. But if it was a keyboard which one will be it? SX700, SX900 or PA700 ? I am only able to cover the above said keyboards in budget.

The sound from yamaha is more pleasant to hear, compared to korg which is a little drier
At 5 minutes 25 seconds of the video the sound of the Korg's right hand is transposed an octave higher than the Yamaha, difficult to compare
My question is, did they have these two boards connected to the same sound system? That is the only way you can get a true comparison!

Both these keyboard were recorded through the exact same recording device which in this case was a tascam. both were also set to the exact same volume both on the keyboard itself and on the recording device so we could get an accurate comparison.

Yamaha has workstation level quality
Wow both sound incrdible the yamaha has some nicer wider stereo sound still the korg is at least very close. And for another comparison is sx700 vs genos. and also load a style from the sx700 in the genos so both use the same voices and see the true quality imo. I enjoyed the video.😉
I'm a user of both Korg and Yamaha. Korg is better than Yamaha because tones, rhythms, and the features in the Korg is really the best. A feature that I really - really appreciate in Korg is KAOSS... We can also convert a STANDARD MIDI FILE to a STYLE. This is really nice... DNC is also a good feature in Korg. It also has superior sound quality.

But Korg needs pedal for to sustain tones like piano compared to Yamaha.We can't say one is good and another is bad.So my conclusion is I love both keyboards

Genos is way more better than sx900 its like genos is daddy and sx900 is son
I think the clue here is in the model names.
Yamaha Psr, Psrs, Psrx all are home keyboards. This is why they have limited editing capabilities.
Korg PA series are professional instruments, this is why you have Kaoss, TC helicon Vocal harmony (the best) dual sequencer on the bigger models, deep editing and midi implementation. They are designed for a professional use primarily. Thats why you can do more on them (but you have to work at it)
Pa700 won best keyboard of 2021. The features in Pa700 massively trounce those of the Yamaha. Try and edit a voice on the Yamaha to the level you can in the Korg ... you can’t!
Yamaha dont need deep edit because its sounds very good. But Korg have dry sound and you need to edit this sound :^)

Without Reuben piano voice, the factory sound piano on pa700 just sound like toy.

il y a pas photo..le yamaha est bien plus clair dans les sons...une grande clarté...précis ..korg est froid....si vous etes habitué a korg...et que vous voyez pas la différence sonore.allez vite vous faire déboucher les oreilles...

Bro if you are a musician try to understand the features in both.you can edit the sounds in korg and get tones like Yamaha if you need. For me company tones are enough

@@vivekwilfred2484 even yamaha has also same feature, you can edit tone as much as you want, but if you are a live stage performer, you dont have enough time to spend on editing on voics, so factory voice should be calibrated properly, korg fails in producing realstic voice compared to yamaha

@@amusic9825 a nice set up would be korg Pa1000 and a Yamaha MODX. But I wouldn't buy a yamaha arranger. They all sound the same to me.
