I have a hunch that red gem has a soul in it. It's either Vecta/Gabriel or "him". The crazed killer, because I would doubt that he died in the underworld and irl after turning into a tree. Also that gem might have a connection on Sylvie's sword, Liena mentions that Sylvie's sword has a powerful potential but it's dark so i might have a hunch that gem is the key to unlocking the secret of sylvie's sword
