I go for my license in a couple weeks, when backing up or parallel parking do you use your mirrors or do you put your hand on the back of the passenger seat and look out the back window. I live in the US btw

Hi Aman,I hope you are well,I love to watch your videos and really like the way you talk,very calm and relax,my test is on 10th of August and I'm very excited about it,I'm quit confident how I'm doing right now,I already took 40 hours lessons and I booked more 20 hours for practice,I need to know one thing I asked my driving instructor about driving on test routes and he said there are 60 test routes in this area( I live in Gateshead near Newcastle)so my test center is gateshead,can you please confirm is it possible to have 60 driving test routes in a small town?

If it’s a car that they aren’t familiar with how can they be in the wrong for needing to ask where a particular switch is? Same with the clutch safety switch atleast in the us a lot of cars didn’t have this.
Hi Aman, on a driving test do you not get marked down for not slowing to allow the pedestrian to cross at 8:28 ? I assumed it would be a fault as it is now in the highway code.
This would only be a fault if it was safe to stop before turning in, I am assuming there was traffic behind for it not to be a minor fault. Pedestrians and Cyclists have priority at junctions (including roundabouts) IF it is safe to let them cross. If not, then continue driving as normal.

My test is tomorrow and I haven't been able to drive for a few days due to an injury but now it's fine... 😅 It means I'm a little rusty but it's still worth taking the test. Seeing it as an expensive mock test... We live and we learn ♡

I got a serious for finishing more than 2 car lengths and adjusting it in the reverse parallel parking.
Seems unfair. Did you do all of the relative checks, blind spots etc?
Hey with the 2 car lengths he was actually within that, it looks further on camera
But it’s it’s a shame with that one 😖 best to pull forward and adjust earlier
@@Gagaisthe1cod Yes, I did all the checks, didn't touch the kerb. He just said that it wasn't a clean manouvre.
The feedback afterwards suggested that Victor understood the mock test to be a close fail when it was a pass. Did you clear this up with him?
And also I just wanted to add I love this channel because there aren't many of these types of channels near where I live and thank you for these videos :)

The quirkiness of a benz is the issue, I remember getting into my first Eclass and struggling with the odd control configuration, let alone the parking brake. good job its not an auomatic benz lol it would be even more difficult. I guess Victor hasn't driven your car for a while. The parallel park was an accuracy fault, not control, you already stated he had good clutch control. Good Video! Thanks
Why any new driver would want the headache of a Mercedes is beyond me. High insurance, high cost of parts, and many lack carplay or android auto.

Failed my test on not checking my right blind spot when swinging out during parallel park… do you have any tips for observations during then? I feel like I’m just constantly moving my head around like a bird and still failed on that
Make your head movements for each check very obvious to the assessor
My instructor tells me each time between when you are stopping and moving when doing parallel park do the whole 6 point check if it makes it easier do the 1 2 1 method and between each time check all over again.
Just overdo it. Especially on rhe parallel park, keep your head on a swivel and keep looking. Do it far more than necessary
Tell him you can't parallel park and offer to do reverse bay park instead.

Are you allowed to drive without a license, with supervision, in England?
No, you ned to apply for a Provisional Licence minimum age 17 for cars. Then L plates, insurance and qualified supervision of another licence holder.

Some of the mock test are with my own students who I know (they happen to be women) so it seems that way.
With most of the mock test they are with random students that I have never met before
