Going to have to make a new video together later this year when the whole new range of Seraphon releases! Bought 2 Seraphon, 1 Skink, and 1 Starclaw Strikehost while they’re still mostly available. Will have “outdated warriors” now but I’ll still include them alongside the new ones come out as the “old guard”. With all the new Vanguard boxes, there’s no way GW will include Carnosaurs and Bastilodons at such discounts anymore. Grab them while you can.
The one thing I'm scared about is that Seraphon models are for the most part such good deals that when GW updates them they gonna double the price of half of them.
I'm currently moving over to Age of Sigmar and always base my first army of a new game based on how they look. I've decided to go with Seraphon, but after looking the up I'm seeing people say they're overpowered and stuff and it's kinda putting me off as I just wanted something I'd have fun with and am not too bothered about how strong they are. Are they really as overpowered as everyone is saying?
So I know they use to be not fun to play against but I can not say at the moment has I have not played against them for a very long time. You can always just play it non competitively.
They were very strong at the end of 2.0 when their book hit. But in 3.0 you can't stick buffs and knocked their power off alot. I'm not sure how strong they are know but I know for a fact they are weaker in 3.0 compared to them in 2.0.
@@AgeofNagash yeah was mostly just for playing at my gaming club with friends, and I think it helps that I won't be very good at the game anyway so it'll help balance it out haha
@@jakea3950 cheers man. It's mostly just for playing for fun with friends anyway. Think once I'm used to the game I'll move over to a different army for playing competitive games
first off, you willl still have to pay the points (rounded up to the nearest complete unit size). I also believe you can not have more than one incomplete unit... so you kinda waste points by not having complete units :)
I know this video is years old and hopefully you’ll respond but when you say converge this to this do you have a better example of what they would look like potentially?
@@AgeofNagash yeah! Convert! Lmao I’m actually trying to get into warhammer this is going to be my first army too so I found your video inspiring on what to get but didn’t understand in how to convert some of the models into a bigger model
@@bobdole8830 it’s still more then most of the other factions from the AoS armies that came from pre AoS. Because Cities of Sigmar for example are not a fair comparison as they are the combination of many armies. Don’t get me wrong though I wish they had a lot more units 😂 especially new models!
Remember to like! 😁👍
Thanks mate 😉

3d printer goes brrr. :D
Wolf has a point
In Czech republic the start collecting saurus box sold separately is even around 120 pounds, so more than double value.
Is there any guides on how to do the conversions with the 2x Start Collecting Seraphon?
Feel free to not convert the Troglodon. In game it just doesn't pay for what it does.
Not that I am aware of buddy.

I might start my first ever aos army with seraphon just bc dinos
When they released a siloette of the skink raptordons I knew I wanted to build a starborne army.
Why you cant have for example unit of skinks sized 12? Why it has to be 10? In battlrtome it says any number from 10 up

That can sadly be a problem. Have you checked facebook to see if there are any gaming groups in your area?
"huge" model range = 31 entities on the GW store ;)
That is pretty good to be fair
@@AgeofNagash sure but if you comapre it with one of the other factions that has been arrond since the 80s or 90s its not THAT much

Gw salamanders are ugly af
They really need to update a lot of those models
Start collecting overpowered and nobody likes you army - Seraphon*
I would agree with you, however that description fits several armies for me personally 😂
