Sadly, Skarbrand and the UF Thirster both did nothing. The UF Thirster was in fact so far away from everything that his neat debuff aura didn't affect anything. Essentially, Khorne had 710 points that neither managed to kill a single unit, nor benefit the game a lot. I would advise you to be way more agressive with the Thirsters if you aren't facing super fast or alphastrike armies. They need to be in the thick of it to do their jobs. Otherwise they are dead weight, sadly. I also think that you are right with your observation: Saving those bloodthithe points to summon things (or use them to swing again with stuff, reposition your Thirsters etc.) would probably have been better. 5+ spell ignore is good, 4+ is probably the most that you need. 3+ is just sinking so many BTP into it that you lose a lot of momentum.
honest question, did ur astrolyth banner broke when assembling it??? everyone says it hapenned to them, and i hate broken miniatures so im delaying buying it only for that reason :(
The solar engine took a nasty hit in the new book, with fewer shots and no more shooting twice, so the ark of sotek ends up looking more appealing if it can get where it needs to go
Great showcase of the armies. But cleanse the realm looks silly for the cost. I believe the summoning point generation need to be toned down, otherwise Sera will forever be a "problem" army.
The point is that against anyone who isn't Khorne, he would have Cleanse the Realm AND all of Kroak's magic. The number of MW that can put out is absurd.
@@coreymic because they're built around casting but can then also summon very efficient combat units. The issue has never been how good they are at magic. Like you said, that's the point. The issue has always been the trait that doubles CCP generation for the slann.
Can we stop with the same, boring, seraphon list? maybe some Raptadons or something that isn't the same copy-paste list everywhere. The new batch of nerfs can't come soom enough for shitaphon
Don't listen to this guy plz. I like when ppl play actually successful Seraphon lists instead of trash ones for the sake of "variety". If you want other Seraphon lists, tell GW to buff other Seraphon units so they become viable. You're seeing the same list because it's the only one above 50%wr.
Banned? That’s a bit much. Maybe nerf them into oblivion until they can figure something out. It does feel horrible when your army is getting mortal wound bombed from range every battle round. They’re too safe of an army to do that much damage. You can be a board control army or a high damage army, you shouldn’t be able to be both which seraphon is
Khorne is literally way worse in all lvls and he doesn't even have bad match ups. The only way to not know that is having very mediocre Khorne players in your meta
Bro they are literally at 52% winrate in the last metawatch which isnt even top FIVE, there are plenty more problematic armies at the moment like OBR and soilblight, hell even Khorne have a higher winrate... Khorne just got sucked into the hatred of sorcery trap this game, he paid 10 bloodtithe to net him like 2 extra spell ignores when he could just have 20 bloodletters instead, no way Ridge could contest the board with that amount of summoning. Seraphon just keeps trying to Cleanse while Khorne summons and wins the game on the primary
I think you were playing Murder rolls wrong, they only trigger on melee attacks
Yep - you're 100%, sadly missed it when prepping for this game :(
Hoping that gets changed since we have OBR Crematorians doing it anytime on death. 😡
@@Skyline632I mean, stormcast explode on 6 only, I wouldn't count on it 😅
I need to know where that table is from. It is amazing.
Mmmh, any chance we can see some more skaven at some point?
Murder Rolls only activate on a death caused by Melee weapons unfortunately
Sick batrep - Jordan, keep the faith, 20 blood warrior bricks are AMAZING and my MVP in every game.
Great batrep and loved the post credit results in the end :D

On point comment. The repositioning reward and even the comet to deal the final wounds to heroes is very strong.
Such a lovely board! Very atmospheric and magical without being over the top.
The closeup cam on the side banner is neat!
Also, good game
Can’t wait to see another Ogor battle report!
Jordan, bring hexgorger skulls and use the bloodtithe to move/fight in the enemy turn.
do skinks have 2d6 on redeploy?
Yep - roll 2, pick 1!
honest question, did ur astrolyth banner broke when assembling it??? everyone says it hapenned to them, and i hate broken miniatures so im delaying buying it only for that reason :(
nope, ours did not!
Loved the post script ending. Hilarious.
good fight guys. love the content.
You guys should do OBR null myriad vs Seraphon
It really wouldnt be all that exciting unless it was coalesced, and even then...
Why do people run the Bastiladon with ark of sotek as oppose to the solar engine?
The solar engine took a nasty hit in the new book, with fewer shots and no more shooting twice, so the ark of sotek ends up looking more appealing if it can get where it needs to go
@@alicelirette4380 would you suggest the solar engine ?
@cortezwillify not in its current state.
Turn 1
Who gives the flesh hounds the command 'at the double'?
They have no champion and cant give them their own commands.
They dont have to have a champion. Just a uniquely named model, musician or standard bearer. (22.3.2) The Gore hound.
your list say that you played two Starpriests. :D
Improving spell ignore is ALWAYS a trap ☺️ even just getting it to 4+
definitely better off just dropping meteors on key targets!
Great showcase of the armies. But cleanse the realm looks silly for the cost. I believe the summoning point generation need to be toned down, otherwise Sera will forever be a "problem" army.
Hard agree. It's way too easy to generate a d6 mortal wound bomb. Ridge hit it every turn without having to unbind an opponent.
Nice Battle report! Waiting for Seraphon with Krondspine ❤
You're a bad person - I'm the one that's gonna have to play against it! XD
Man that ability is so oppressive. Rules with no interaction whatsoever. Nice 🤤
Merciless blizzard. You still roll your 4d6 because 1s still hurt you. Khorne ignoring the spell doesn't mean you dont roll the dice.
Good catch - we hadn't thought of that at the time!
Can we get some koatles claw? The bash brothers are fun but past 5 games literally same list.
Its boring.
Haven't played against Seraphon but thay seems just bs over powed. 50 mortal wounds!?
Seraphon Starbone : Great Cancer Army like OBR and SBG
I love how people mention the problem of cleanse the realms while he literally would have 0 chances vs Khorne without it...
The point is that against anyone who isn't Khorne, he would have Cleanse the Realm AND all of Kroak's magic. The number of MW that can put out is absurd.
The problem is though is that every other army doesnt have the spell ignore so they take all the damage then that hits
I agree. Don't understand an army that is built around magic casting is then bitched about because it does what it does well.
@@coreymic because they're built around casting but can then also summon very efficient combat units.

Good battle report but your guest needs to let people finish talking :)
Ive been corrected :)
Most of the times U would be right but strike last + strike first do cancel out because it's written in their rules (12.4 in core rules).
@@aregeonargo8648today I learned,thanks!
Agreed. Too much the same armies…
Thankfully, cosmic power is not that easy to get for that stupid ability🥴

@Rave.- you're dumb. Koatl is good, this guy just only plays starborne.
Seraphon is a disgrace to this game.
It HAS to be banned until it's balanced.
Mad bro?😊
Exceedingly. You can keep your sass to yourself.@@thorstenrumpf1312
