I like the spanish salsa music😂😂😂😂
💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
Holly Molly Marina, You are glowing and so freaking happy. Which is such a pleasure to see . iI guess Stews ski trip really did pay off for you. This has been one of your best videos in a long time in my opinion. You two just knocked each task right out of the park with smiles on your faces.. And I agree that paint looks totally amazing when compared to the white primer. I'm so happy for both of you and you even had good weather for the most part as well.
Thank you so much for your comment 😊
We are really having fun working on the boat so probably it reflects on the videos…
"you can hear a machine in the background, and that is Stuart" I always knew there was something fishy about him, turns out he's a robot.
😂😂😂 RoboStu!
So many more important things to do and stu is making solar panel brackets😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It is a very important job! Mathias won’t be around for long so we need to get the welding done before he goes 😅 It all makes sense 💪🏼😊
The paint looks so good. I love the color. And Stuart your polishing job is beautiful. Thanks for sharing what you do and making it look so interesting. And you two make me laugh with your jokes with each other. You make a really nice couple.
Many thanks.
We're happy with the colour but still more to polish...
Cheers for watching 😃
Wow, when we go back and look at early episodes we can see that the camera person and the video editor have really improved the presentation! The painter has made a good paint choice/presentation.
I also enjoyed the demolition of the engine compartment. We also must acknowledge that Mr S has made a wonderful effort to provide audio explaining his work! Nice touch to use heat gun to remove tubes. Thx for bringing us along.😊😊😊 John Ken
Thanks John!
We are glad to hear that it’s not just us who noticed the progress not only on the boat but on the videos as well 😀
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Spot on with the paint colour! Also, I like all the different music you use. Nice mixture.
Thank you very much!
Marina is great with the videos.
I chose the colour.
That's team work.
Cheers for watching 😃
Marina needs to do more keel inspections 😮😂
🤣😆🤣
Naughty naughty… 😈
@@SailingSeabird I know hehe. Wonder how many times you went back threw the video to see what I was noticing lol
Grumpy Ole stu and happy marina 😂😂😂good stuff
😠😀 The dream team hehe
Thanks for watching!
12:43 : Marina should have said "Hey Stew! You missed a spot!" as a comeback for his earlier snide remark.
As if I'd miss "one" spot.
Loads of spots missed.
No stress, adds to the character.
Hope you're keeping well.
Cheers for watching 😃
Protect that wall, Maria... it looks fantastic!
That’s the plan… I don’t want any scratches after all that work 👍🏼
You got my like already, even before you suggested it in the beginning of this video.
I know that I will enjoy to be allowed to follow your adventures with the refit.
Thank you so much! Sometimes we feel a bit repetitive but it makes a huge difference. We are super grateful for every single like and comment 😊
I discovered your channel a few days ago and finally made it through the €1-boat-playlist up to this (currently) last one. There's so much to like about you guys and this channel. Most of all, I really like how authentic and down to earth you two are. Also really cool to see the progress and how you are learning as you go - not afraid to make mistakes or change plans. Comparing this to the first video's, there's a lot of progress in the video editing, too! The music adds that finishing touch.
Job well done so far, I'll be sticking around here to see how it continues!
Marina is the one to praise for the editing.
I'm the one getting the repairs wrong 😂😅🤣
Cheers for watching 😃
You guys are doing a great job very professional results on the floor supports, wish I was young enough to be doing something similar. The vast majority of us watching are green with envy. LOVE YA.
I don't know about that. 😂🤣😅
But it's pretty fun.
Cheers for watching 😃
You should be proud of the paint job. It looks really nice. Make sure that Stu character is really out there polishing and not slacking. 😂
Thank you!
😂😂 I could hear the machine going so I knew he was working 💪🏼
Nice video, guys!!
I hope your Channel grows exponentially so you can enjoy (even more) your adventures!!
🍀✨️🙌🏻🍀✨️
Thanks so much!!
It will be what it will be 😊 We’ll keep working at it for as long as people enjoy watching.
Thank you for being there every week and commenting. It really makes a difference 😊
@SailingSeabird Thank You, guys!!
I have been enjoying your adventure from the beginning!!
💫🙏🏻💫
Paint is looking good 😍
Thanks ☺️
This is great to see things looking so good. Its an icredible boost for you both to see big changes for boat. Fantastic.
It really is!
Cheers for watching 🙂
I always enjoy your channel.
🤗 Thank you!
Excellent job last week. Congratulations.
Thanks Graeme! 😊
Love watching you guys bring this boat back to life. Incurages me.
Thanks.
It's a labour of love.
Cheers for watching 😃
Thank you, always working hard to produce such enjoyable content.✌🏻
Glad you enjoy it!
Thanks for watching and commenting 😊
Taking off fuel hose... get out the heat gun 😱😀 Good luck. Big job, hope it all goes well. And your boat is up and running before long. 👍
Taking off the fuel hose is a massive job 😂🤣😅
Cheers for watching 😃
He's baaaaaack
Yayyyy
Nothing like a fresh coat of paint ❤.
It makes such a difference!
Hey guys I watch every week and love your videos. You’re making great progress for very painstaking work. Looking forward to sailing day😊
Awesome! Thank you!
We are looking forward to sailing as well 😊🤞🏼
Cheers for watching and taking the time to comment.
Lovely video. Your paint does look warm and very inviting. Love it! Love you, both. 😎🥰💕💕💕
Thank you so much 😀
i follow you since the first day, and you confirm what i think: it's always more easy to repair from scratch, in place of painting the rotten things ;)
you're top :)
Great's from Belgium
Thanks for your support.
Some wood we try to repair, other bits need replacing.
Cheers for watching 😃
Very, very nice😊😊😊
Thanks Andreas!!! 😊 You know we try… 😅
that's called jewlers rouge . used for polishing metals. works great on semi truck aluminumn.
Cool, thanks
I call it the green soap bar for polishing. 😅🤣😂
Cheers for watching 😃
Great colour choice Marina 👍
Thanks! 😊
But it was Stuart who made the final choice.
Cheers for watching 😃
Perfect colour match! 👍
Yeah! We are pretty happy with it. They are almost identical.
Thanks for watching 😊
Nice. It’s great to see both of you happy 🤩🤩
Thank you 😊
We'll be happier once sailing...
Cheers for watching 😃
...what a progres! Seabird becomes better and better.
You both are so sympathic "normal" ..nice to look your videos every friday❤
Thank you so much!
We feel pretty normal 😅 Hopefully that shows
Cheers for watching and commenting :)
Finally catched up to this episode in real time! I watched the entire series these past few days, and now i can enjoy it live! (kind of). Great work so far guys!
Yayy!
Welcome 😊
Thanks for joining and commenting. We are glad you are enjoying.
And yeah… is nearly live 😅 We are pretty much up to date .
@@SailingSeabirdMay i ask a silly question? Why do you guys refer a vacuum cleaner as a "hoover" is it kind of a brand thing or something?
If you go through the comments there’s one that explains it on detail. It’s a brand 😊
My mum had a hoover. It was a great vac for the 1950’s.
Another wonderful Friday video from Stew and Marina.. you're making progress every day and you're going to have the boat you've always wanted before long.
Thank you! Cheers to that 🤞🏼😊
Excellent color choice on the paint! And Stewart made some awesome headway on that engine room!! Great work you two!!! Can't wait for the next video!
Thanks 👍
good 2 c u happy Marina, well done to u both, its coming alone nicely
Yes, thank you! We enjoy working on the boat more and more every day. It’s getting addictive 😅
😁@@SailingSeabird
My father was a bit of a paint handyman and gave me a trick to help pour paint from a tin with an easy cleanup afterward. First, roll a small piece of paper towel and lay it around half of the paint tin in the groove, then pour over the paper area into your tray. Once you have poured out your paint lift the rolled-up paper and leave you with a clean edge to your paint tin. You will find that you don't have paint down the side of the tin and the lid fits easier without paint in the lip. Love your videos. cheers
It really looks a lot better.
That’s what we thought 😊 Cheers!
The Hoover Company is a home appliance company founded in Ohio, United States, in 1915. It also established a major base in the United Kingdom in 1950's; and, mostly in the 20th century, it dominated the electric vacuum cleaner industry, to the point where the Hoover brand name became synonymous with vacuum cleaners and vacuuming in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Yeah! We always call it hoover 🫣
Yeah it's coming along and i lovit you two i enjoy your videos great job
Cheers Louis! 😊
Enjoyed every video I hope this may be of interest to both go to world of TNT number 2207 solar panels. The presenter is a scientist and in the video he shows how to make a standard panel increase it's out put. The main item he uses is a venticular lens. As you are more dependent on your own panels it may be of use. Right now his videos are about making your own electrical generator. Look forward to you next video .
Good to see you back at it stu, paint looks great marina ,great video thank you both
Thank you 🙏🏼
The paint looks great 👍🏻
Thanks 👍
Steward is a really cool and chilled cat, more jazz bgm please
😊👍🏼
fun video. And i agree that the paint is really nice!
Thanks!! 🙏🏼
Very impressive work
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice color choice, too much white in the interior does make it look like a Doctor's office. The beige is a much warmer color!
We agree. Seeing both together we realised that we had made the right decision 😊👍🏼
You both are just great, keep up a hard work and stay strong and support each other in the good and bad times.
Thank you!! Yes… there good and bad 😅 Dream Team! 💪🏼
Just know there are people watching that are on your side in all your efforts to make your dream come true. Now Im off to your Wish List to send you an item, I hope it is current.@@SailingSeabird
Just checked out your Amazon Wish list and there are only 4 items on it and none are in stock and the I think 1 item is not deliverable to the address, soooo...Sorry.@@SailingSeabird
I've seen guys in a paint shop instead of pouring out paint from a paint can, they dip a small cup in and draw out the paint. Way less mess were the lid attaches. When you close the lid shut nothing gets splattered.....!!!! Another great episode.....Good to see Stu is back.
Ahaaa! I was trying to think how I could do it so the ca wouldn’t get covered in paint. I’ll do this next time 😊👍🏼
Great job !! Super color !! Congratulations ! Step by step that the beter ! Kisses from Belgium 😜
Thanks Eric!!! 😀
Great episode. Perfect colour for your paint and Marina you have achieved a lovely finish. You are extremely patient and dedicated to your refurbishment of that boat. All you need to do is to get Stuart to stay focused on the important tasks.
Not sure that the time spent polishing that SS is time well spent, I assume they will be drilled and welded to the frame, they will need to be polished again perhaps.
Honestly guys, you're the epitome of preservance. You've done so much work and we know there's a whole lot more to do but the way you're going about it is an example to us all. Good skills guys
Great episode guys, I've missed you two, Stuart is so stoic, it's funny 😂🤘👍
Glad you enjoyed it.
Cheers for watching 😃
Stellar job you've done !
Cheers!! 😊
Well done that Man .
Thanks 🤩
You sure have a lot of space to utilize in that engine room...future water maker maybe.
We think a water maker is a given but it will have to stay in our dreams for a few more years.
Cheers for watching 😃
@@SailingSeabird Your a pretty clever bugger Stuart ya don't have to buy one off the shelf , lots of home made ones out there. Marina I don't comment on your work as much as I should but you are wicked good girl. I think another coat in that rear berth will darken up enough to match the gel coat as well , I was really amazed at how close the first coat came.
Paint job looks perfect. If I remember correctly your kitchen sink is round, what is the diameter of the hole? + Send me a list of things to make for you.
Hello Simon!! Thank you ☺️
Sorry we haven’t been in touch…
We might send you an email. Not sure about the sink. We’ll have to check tomorrow :)
Thanks for always offering your help.
Oh! Someone was asking about those little boats you made for us. I think they’re interested in buying some… ⛵️
Yay!! Dibs!!
Yay! :)
That’s a large task, that engine room. Once finished I’ll critique Stu’s work. 👍 Happy to see you both together, sharing the same spaces again. ❤️
Thank you!!
We missed working together 😊
Another excellent video thanks to both of you, your paint work looks impressive as is Stuart's work on the old walls and polishing. thanks for sharing guys, I look forward to seeing you again next week. By the way I don't watch video's because I don't understand German.
Cheers! 😊
Thank you for watching!
We understand but we mentioned just in case anyone wants to see. We don’t speak German but put subtitles on 😛
Also this specific video is really beautiful… you don’t really need to listen 😅
Cool music to paint by.
Yeah! Relaxing 😊
The color is great! Well done, Marina! And Stu did very well polishing, me thinks! You both shine! Cheers, Erik
Thanks so much!
Slowly 🐌 🐌 🐌
Cheers for watching 😃
Marina: The match on the interior paint is perfect, we are so Happy to see you smiling again, your efforts really make the whole episode blissful and fun. Hopefully Stewart had a great time skiing, he certainly knows how to polish stainless, looks marvelous!
I am happy to see the polishing process as I see it in my future as I would like to build a solar arch. The paint looks great and a good match to my colour blind eyes.
Loooooong process hehe
Thank you! We think it looks great. Can you see the difference between the two though?
@@SailingSeabird Yes the new paint is a much better match. I could definitely see the difference between the gelcoat and the primer where the new paint looks very similar.
White looks awesome guys well done
Thank you so much’
Looking 👍
Thanks 👍
⛵️ ⛵️ ⛵️ Phil...
Hey Phil!! Thanks for commenting every week 🤗
Thanks!
Hey Grover!!! Thank you. 🤩 You are there every single week. We really appreciate it 🙏🏼
what a great team
Cheers! 😊
Hello Team Seabird. Firstly, welcome back Stuart. In your absence the lovely Marina did great work with tidying up and painting etc. 😂. The music this week was fun and Marina, the paint looks just like Devon cream...beautiful and so much better than white. Well done Stuart with clearing the engine room. Happy polishing 😊. Look forward to seeing you both each week and the progress you are making ❤❤❤
Many thanks!
Cheers for watching 😃
Hey, we are living in your town, Psl.Hope to see U one day and your boat too, Béa, Morgan and our Huskies.
Don't understand how you've only got 36,000 subscribers to a fascinating site. You two are amazing.
We are still amazed that so many people enjoy watching.
We started just to make videos for our family to share our trip with them.
Cheers for watching 😃
I want to know what Stu thinks of Master and Commander: Far Side of the World
I think it was what first made me dream of skippering my own boat
Tbh only got a boat as it was cheaper than a van
Captain Ron is a real sailing film.
Cheers for watching 😃
Whoo hoo, have been waiting all day for next instalment, now I can settle down with my first coffee of the evening, to watch. Alarm. Alarm, Alarm!!! I left a comment that might be useful to you on your last vid. Hope it helps. 😀 Hope the sun remains jyellow for you! Wanted to edit, in reference of comment about orange light underside, when I watch your vids. Date: 19th @ 19.15 pm - just been viewing about a highly recommended boat that was constructed using 12 layers of glass fibre...I have always thought...for some decades that 6 was usual, and enough! Either way take care of that hull! Good luck, watching closely and with great enthusiasm for your efforts.
Hey! Cheers ☕️
Yes, we saw! About the light coming through the hull. It is totally normal 😊 The hull is half an inch thick but because we got rid of the paint outside you can see light through. It is glass, so it is totally normal 👍🏼
Is that the comment you’re referring to?
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment :)
Top painting and good colour Marina. Will Stew have enough space to have a workshop in the engine bay? Great to see your cracking on with it.
My rudder is well under way now and spent all morning sanding the topsides for a new paint job as the sun was out today. Keep the videos coming Kev in Devon
Hey Kev! Glad to hear there’s been progress with the work on the rudder.
Yup! There will hopefully be enough space for a little workshop, kind off… 😅
I have seen all the episodes since you started to restore the boat. You have done impressive work. Greetings from Norway 😀
Thank you.
It's a slow process but it's enjoyable.
Cheers for watching 😃
Tu es minutieuse pour ton travail
Well I reckon you are both doing a great job in renovating your dream sailing boat "Sailing Seabird". I'm not too clever with overseas currency but Googled how much 1€ (Euro) is in Australian dollars and it is $1.66 (dollars).😀 That's "cheap as chips" Australian lingo for amazing bargain for a yacht that size even though it needs a lot of restoration.
Thanks.
It's fun playing fix up on the boat.
Cheers for watching 😃
bravo cool
Thanks.
Cheers for watching 😃
Hi Stu and Mathia, in ''Ep. 45 From BUILDING A WINDVANE to RUNNING AGROUND... (OUTTAKES) | SAILING WAYZGOOSE WARRIOR'' Could you please tell how well that super simple wind-vane worked out at sea. Any idea of who designed it and is it commercially available. Thanks, Joachim.
Hiya, The boat came with some of the bits and I read in a book how to make it.
Send as message on fb or email and I can give you more info.

Nice music
Great job! Polishing...ugh.
Yup… boooooooooring 😅
Yes very close in color
Great video as usual guys. Are you going to paint the gel coat to match the new paintwork?
We won't be painting the gelcoat. That's a job we aren't doing.
Once you paint gelcoat it's all over...
Cheers for watching 😃

Hey ! Congratulations for this week’s hard work ! Always a nice time watching your video. Can you tell me which paint do you use ? i have a similare job to do on my boat and i can’t chose the right type of paint .. this one is a beauty and seems easy to use. Thanks and good luck to you both ! ❤
Love the 70s porn music when stu unscrewing the bench, classic
😂😂😂 Sexy unscrewing
@@SailingSeabird god help us when screwing it back, bow chicka wow wow lol
😂😂😂
Damn 2nd place lol
🥈Next week 😛
@@SailingSeabird not always the best thing to “arrive” first lol
I am a big fan of yours, I have a lot of admiration for your perseverance and I love seeing that you learn every day. However, this episode is too long in my opinion. In other words, too little is happening, and what is being done is stretched too far.
Noted!
Tbh it's just one of those weeks.
Some people like the longer episodes.
Cheers for watching 😃
¿Cuándo navegaréis ?
Esperamos poder a finales de verano… 🤞🤞🤞
💚💙👍👍👏👏👏
❤️❤️❤️😁😁😁
Every time I watch you on TV and I look and you’ve become unsubscribed I’ve gone to my phone and subscribe to now it doesn’t make sense. I’m sure I’m not the only person this is happening to. I would check into it. Good luck with the boat you’re doing a great job.
We’ve read a lot of comments like this lately… We might have to look into it.
Thank you for letting us know 😊
And for watching 🤩
