Low bar squat for me.. I recommend if you don't have those giant traps to cushion.. to keep the bar from sitting on your spine...try low bar squating. On a low bar squat, not only do you have the upper traps.. but you also have the shoulder muscles to keep it off your vertebrae. I personally had huge neck problems through my early thirties until I realized it was from sitting that bar on my spine for so long.. when I switched to low bar no more pain. 👍💪
