In the context of the story, where the young man had a part of his will which was resistant to the compulsions attributed to Arobinagu. As in he still had a choice but he chose to submit to the compulsions as opposed to drawing a line with himself to not cross and violate that which is sacred. Where does the line become drawn between what Arobinagu causes or what the young man fails to hold sacred? Just trying to grasp the thought. It must be practical wisdom to extract from the story other than "Arobinagu is evil". That is contrary to many other teachings
You lied ! Arobinagu have nothing to do with evil , in fact Arobinagu is the gods of herb 🌿.. he gives the native doctors the wisdom to know which herb is for a particular sickness.
