Keen to see it finished mate, love the videos! You wont need to make mounts. The mounts from the motor in the EF will bolt upto the barra and fit back in the car. You will need a bellhousing from an AU if you plan on using the 4 speed from the EF as the lower bolts won’t line up. Good luck with it!
Territory high pressure power steer line will fit barra pump and e series rack with a small tweak (bend) to the line. All barra gas engines had heavier rods the 06/06 thing is xr6t only. Ba gas are 10.7 comp compared to later being 10.3

With EF-EL and XF-XH you do need to modify the sump. Although for XG you can use AUII sway bar with some 40mm or 50mm blocks to space it down. Not sure about E series for that one

This is an awesome build! E series are the best falcons along side of fg’s easily! If you got a set of ford Tickford shark fins it would be the sexiest looking thing on the road!!
For p/steer you could use an astra p/steer pump they are cheap and you could even fit it in the boot if needed. Also keen for green top Barra cfm falcon shirts and hoodies when you make them , Rex… cheers
Hey Rex i would advise you to try and get a FG/FGX intake manifold its a straight bolt on just need a harness adaptor from ebay gives you some great gains

TBH you will hear different stories across the board that you can reuse a head gasket that you should never re use one. Best option is new my bro . With the power steering pump you can convert to an electric pump less drive on the engine and just run from power can run it to a switch or wire it into the system . Keep it up brother love the content .

The fg barra intake plenums are so much easier to run your piping into as the inlet faces out from the engine and not into/above it
It needs ford 12 slot chrome wheels from the old GT falcons

I think I read somewhere that you need the Ford Territory (Barra) sump to clear the subframe on the E-series falcons? Correct me if I'm wrong...
From memory i think you need a power steering line from a ba/bf (the screw on fitting from the pump to the rack)

Get a 6boost manifold to get all the right barra exhaust noises.
The intakes are different between NA/Gas to the turbo ones, as NA/gas have thoses butterflies on the inside of the intake and Turbo ones don't

My Barra weighed around 230kg complete. Breaking strain is around double it’s rating, so you’re very safe..

The intake would switch runners at 3800rpm and you could actually feel/hear the change!

go for an electric power steering pump its probably better than having to do everything for the normal power steering
good opportunity to replace gaskets, seals etc while the engine is out.
