Update on the 2000 Camry LE 2.2L. I'm currently changing incandescent bulbs to led. About 4 or 5 weeks ago I changed out the glovebox incandescent bulb to led. The led bulb is a cool white 74 bulb. The drawback is the whole glovebox had to come out. So I took out 5 screws that held the glovebox in place. I put in the cool white led bulb put everything back together. It took a while because it was a hot day where I in the states. About 90 something. Well anyways I waited for night time turned on the car lights opened the glovebox up I liked it. Better than the incandescent bulb. I was pleased and happy. I just love it when things turn out good. The leds I use are from Super Bright Leds. That's just for the interior cabin of the Camry. Why I buy from them in the leds are dimmable. Next will be the console shifter light and dashboard clutter lights. The dashboard clutter lights take 194 and 74 bulbs. Will get to it before Winter comes. So far what I've done to the Camry I'm happy with. Good luck with your new vehicle. Can't wait to see it when your done.
I love cheap turbo builds. After a drunk camping night away with my pals, we decided to put a turbo on my old vitara. They didnt make a kit to fit so over last winter i boosted it and it had a screamer pipe the dose was hectic honestly would recomend to anyone to boost there car.
About as informative as it can get for us less educated folk! Has me feeling real confident in considering slapping a turbo onto my AU. 😂👌🏽 Solid effort Rex, keen to see more progress on this weapon. 🤘🏽

Good stuff man, this was really enjoyable to watch. 100% you get what you pay for with lines. I used to have an M8280 turbo on my 1j, and I found the Tomei oil return line was garbage, ended up cracking. Replaced it with a better quality line.

don't forget to buy pink sti injectors if you wanna make more power. go and get it tuned by off the clock motorsports in Sydney NSW. also get a engeniers cert for that if your going to drive it on the road

I like the tutorial type of videos, I got my first car a ford probe gt and I wanted to do the spark plug in exhaust with ignition cut, did you have any engine problems doing it on the black lancer?
Instead of cutting and splicing into the throttle body coolant line, divert around it using the in line into throttle body for feed, and the out for return. Running no coolant thru throttle body will reduce intake temps
Hey Rex. Sick vid as always. I’m getting a 1.8L 4 cylinder Nissan soon, and I want to follow along with a turbo just for the heck of it. I’m just too unsure of doing it on my own car tho lol and if it would even work.
Maxpeeding rod turbo might be alright but don’t buy the coilovers, to replace one strut or buy parts you have to buy a whole set. Absolutely pain in the backside
Does using power tools on bolts ever break them, do you crack them with a ratchet first or is it safe to just impact it off, and can you strip them by over tightening or nah?
I usually just send it with the power tool to loosen. Never had an issue doing that however installing the bolts I use hand tools and go by feel or torque spec depending on what it is
i havent watched the whole video yet but delete the water line going through the throttlebody, its a waste of time in australia and just warms up the air going into the motor.

Hey Rex I owned one for years the 1.8 can take over 15 psi on stock internals, remember it's a evo 1-3 engine n/a
Also protons have the twin cam head so you can rev it to 8.8k rpm if you want to go full Thailand spec
