You still don't know the thousands of voices that Dan has. No candles, we just want Dan and his voice. It hurts to hear this song after my dad leaves. I had to give him my Cramberries DVD and every Saturday, with him on the keyboard, I sang this song. I cry a lot when I see this cover. But I like. Tks ❤😢
A masterpiece! I feel it's safe to say how most of us feel like we look like Edvard Munch's painting, called The Scream, as we're screaming from our souls, for wars to stop. But Dan actually captured the facial distortion we feel inside. Epic!! Glad you appreciated his performance!

My favorit is Fairy Tale, Battleground, My mother told me, Burn butcher burn and the biggest of all The last stand. This is another of Dan's fiercely emotional performances, which I love. I think it's a bit too close to the cover, but he does say he's doing a cover of a cover. For me his voice and delivery always redeems everything he sings. I know you have a very specific kind of music that you like (probably true for most of us), but Dan is an extraordinary artist and he doesn't always follow the formula that you like. The question is: are you going to give anything else a chance? I'm interested to see. It's your channel, so maybe not, which is fine. If you want to try something else, I would suggest either The Music of the Night or Gethsemane for theatrical scenes, or, for songs that are quieter but deeply emotional, The Last Goodbye or Love Me Tender. There's a bunch more, but I'll stop there. Once again, many many thanks for doing this 30 Days of Dan. I've enjoyed it tremendously and look forward to what's up next.
